Something about living in a society where we're all human and we have the death penalty. Like juries? Judges? Imagine. You believe in the death penalty because legally you have to, to be on this case. But you're just a person and you're alive and now another human's life is in your hands. You're not the executioner, no no, your hand isn't pressing the plunger or flipping a switch or pulling a lever, but you have to decide, really decide if this person deserves to die for what they've done.

I'm trying to imagine being responsible. I think maybe I could be convinced that someone was vile enough to deserve death. Or dangerous enough that their death would keep people safe. But also. I can imagine looking at the person on death row and just seeing a human being. Like what makes any of us think we know anything? Life is so complex, minds are straight up insane, things happen for reasons, and sure that reason could be because someone is pure evil or because their life circumstances didn't line up exactly right.

They probably have a list about prisoner's allergies and won't give you a furby (where the heck are they supposed to find that??) but this is a beautiful thought, I think.

If I ever somehow end up on death row, I'm either gonna request a furby or a peanut butter sandwich for my final meal. The peanut butter sandwich is because I have an allergy and I'll end up dying before they can kill me. The furby is purely an intimidation factor.

Calling it a “revolutionary way” to experience the full wrath of the carceral state, the Alabama Department of Corrections unveiled Friday a new Death Row Fast Pass that allows convicts to skip the line for executions. “With the amazing Death Row Fast Pass, inmates can zoom past all those condemned individuals in front of them and get strapped to a gurney and injected with a lethal dose of toxic chemicals right away,” said state corrections commissioner John Brooks, adding that the pass, which costs just $39, could save death row inmates up to 40 years of wait time and also provides special access to a number of exclusive execution methods, including electrocution, nitrogen gas asphyxiation, and even firing squad.

For euthanasia, it depends, but I'm assuming you're talking about the drug version- and that is basically the classic one-drug lethal injection method. Which is pretty much regarded as torture if done wrong.

But you never know, it might be different and I might be completely and utterly wrong. I'm not an expert.

It’s specifically so if someone has one death sentence lessened or removed, they still get the death penalty. Also, it’s the sentimental value of it- if someone killed 4 people, you would want all victims to be recognized.

I think the stress of exams and mold is getting to me
