I think the admins don't know how to run a plot drop or event without it being grossly triggering and should limit them to bi-monthly and no surprise plot drops. Like missing socks and chocolate? So pointless and weird lol.

This is a big problem in this RP for sure. I don’t think a RP should do event after event after event, and then a plot drop, there is no time in between to finish one thread only.

Pay attention to everyone. Majorities, minorities. There is always a reason behind a no or a yes that a member gives you. You don’t have to find the reason, but you have to accept what they are telling you.

I’m so sorry you feel this way about the rp and that you have felt the need to leave. I can agree with a lot of your points there have been times for me where this rp feels like work and no one should have to feel that way for a hobby. And the admins should have had another option for people who don’t enjoy Valentine’s Day, I agree. I think you’re incredible for speaking up.

I don't mean to come off as rude or anything. But now that you have left maybe you should take some time in taking care of yourself than resulting into more negativity. You have left, you have done what you have to do, now you can just go focus on yourself and try to bring yourself back into a positive headspace. There is no need to leave on a sour note.

Oh but I am on a positive headspace. Actually, I am not sour or bitter, or anything. I am just being honest, but I understand you can take that for bitterness.

It wasn’t a completely mandatory event, putting your muse in a pair was something that was optional. I honesty don’t understand what part of the event you’re extremely uncomfortable by ( enough to get depressed by it ) all of the themes are used in Roleplays all the time. Playing towards majority in a group rp is something they have to do.... maybe indie rp would be better in this case especially if it’s causing you this much stress.

The Valentine’s Day is a holiday extremely triggering for me for some personal reasons that I won’t evoke. Feeling like my trigger and my mental health isn’t a reason valid enough to make something optional can lead me to feel bad about myself, at the depressed point. 

This holiday is for sure used in most of the roleplays, but not as a mandatory event. It isn’t the wedding bullshit that annoyed me, but the fact that our characters would’ve to be involved in Valentine’s Day things even if it makes the mun feel bad.

I have other groups, where this kind of event that can makes people feel bad are optional. I have other groups where admins are actually respectful toward everyone, and if only one member feels bad, they try to find a solution for them to feel better, even if it’s only ONE person. Being respectful isn’t supposed to be only toward the majority. Respect goes both way, if you expect the minority to respect you and your decision, you have to respect them and their triggers.

I actually agree with you. I didn't like how the admins said it was mandatory for everyone to be involved. The plot of the group as a whole is really gross and abusive and I'm sorry you weren't treated with the same respect. Good luck with your future rp endeavors and I hope you find a group that has admins who are more respectful than these ones!

I actually have other groups with admins that are so much more respectful and inclusive. For someone who roleplayed for almost ten years, it’s a first and I have to say it makes me feel bad for them. If you don’t know how to handle a RP, learn, or don’t do it.Thank you for your message ♥

Honestly? Just leave the members and the admins who do everything for them the hell alone. You left the group? Good for you. Now stop being rude.

Who do everything for them? Sure honey. I won’t mention the names of the members but:

“X was in cursed for like a daybefore she left bc she was uncomfy with the 50 shades charries being there and the admins did nothing of it”

“Literally the only reason I’m still in this group is there is no other place I could take most of my characters and some of the people are super sweet. There are some major communication issues between admins and everyone else”

“Dude I completely see where you are coming from, it sometimes feels like stuff you say to admin goes in one ear and then out the other.”

“the valentines event left me feeling a lil icky because one of my characters is (25+) and he was paired with an 18 year old”

“genuinely sorry to see you leaving but i feel you here: the admins. i'm sorry they've made you feel this way :/”

“bullshit at least four people including me have complained about events and other stuff and been ignored”

“literally the only reason i haven't left is because i have spent too much time plotting with a few people, i feel like i'm leaving them in the lurch.”

What would you have had the admins do? I agree with most of what you said, the admins have a disregard for triggering topics and don't care much about what people have to say but in this instance, what would you have suggested they do in this circumstance?

I am not even asking anything like stopping a event or things like that. But making it optional was something they could’ve done to help the members that feel uncomfortable with this holiday feel a bit better, not put aside or rejected. This is an option and one of the best to make everyone happy, those who voted “yes” for the event and those who voted “no”.

You are being rude if you didn't like some event you can always take a hiatus, Most of the people here like the admins and we don't think that they are rude to us or anything, is hard to keep everyone happy not just because one mun complained about the event was going to be over.

If only it was only one muse. Most of my friends complained about it, both here and in our discord chat. Because 20% of a roleplay vote no it means there is something wrong with the event, majority should not always win. 

I am not being rude for some stupid even, I am not even trying to be rude, I am being honest. Honesty hurts.

The rp is not welcoming and the admins use victim and guilt tactics when people bring up issues and call it hate. During the triggering jail event they continued to post asks mocking people who found it triggering and behaving like they were bullied into closing the event. I'm so sorry you were victim to their disregard to their members.

Exactly. I’m just sad most of their members are nice, they are just disrespectful toward people.

As the admins feel like you shouldn’t know about it as they didn’t post the ask where I explained it all, let me just explain why I am leaving the RP:

It makes me feel bad about myself, almost depressed until today to be exact, as if feeling uncomfortable about love and Valentine’s Day isn’t valid.

I don’t like hypocrites. When you call a roleplay inclusive, welcoming and respectful, you don’t ask your members to go on hiatus for the fact that they are feeling bad for something.

Even when you have a lot of members, you are supposed to be respectful of them all. It’s not because only a minority doesn’t feel good about something that you have to keep it going. An event might be temporary, it’s really quick for someone to feel really bad about it. Also, there is something called non mandatory which would work if you are actually respectful of what everyone think and feel.

It feels like working, writing here, lately. Why? Because I don’t feel like I’m welcomed. Sure all members are awesome and nice, but the things above make me feel like I’m an outsider.

Just posting to warn everyone about it, Valentine’s Day makes me feel uncomfortable so for that fact I will be on hiatus for the next days. Though, I’ll be around sometimes to plot if anyone is interested in discussing with me about how our characters could interact after the event.
