i am sorry channie

ex bf/dad!chan x fem!reader
warnings: mention of breakup, reader left chan, a little sad?
genre: exes to lovers
summary: 3 years ago, you made a very bad decision. you broke up with chan when you found out you were pregnant. left him, without telling him that he would be a father. and then, on a very random day, you and him met again...

you didn’t plan on running into him. honestly, if you had known he’d be there, you wouldn’t have come.
but micha wanted to feed the ducks. he had that look on his face—the one you couldn’t say no to—so you bundled him up, prepared the bread from the kitchen to not forget it, and walked to the park.

...you saw him before he saw you.
Bang Chan.
you stopped walking.. not knowing where to hide..
what was he doing here? why did he have to be here right now?
you quickly started walking further away from where the man was.
“mommy?” micha tugged your hand, eyes wide. “we forgot the bread!”
you frowned, crouched to check the bag—anything to look away from chan—and when you looked up again, he was there.
right in front of you.

“…hey,” he said softly, like he wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to walk up to you. “wow. It’s been a while.”
your heart pounded so loud you were sure he could hear it.
“Hi,” you said, just above a whisper.
he looked at you and smiled, gently. “you look… good. different, but good.”
before you could reply, micha stepped forward, hiding halfway behind you. chan’s eyes flicked to him, and then back to you, confused.
“is this your little guy?”
you nodded. “yeah. that’s micha.”
chan crouched, that familiar spark of warmth lighting his face. “hey, micha. that’s a cool name!”
micha blinked up at him, curious. “hi,” he said shyly, gripping your leg.
chan smiled wider. “how old are you, buddy?”
“three..,” micha said softly but proudly, holding up four fingers.
you let out a nervous laugh. “we’re still working on numbers.”
chan chuckled, standing again. “he’s adorable. got your eyes.”
' and your nose chan-.. ' you thought to yourself but didn't give him any reply.
he just let the words hang for a second, then moved on like he hadn’t noticed the way your shoulders tensed.
“I didn’t think I’d see you again,” he said, more quietly now. “I thought maybe… you left for good.”
you looked at the ground. “I almost did.”
there was a silence between you. heavy, but not angry. just… full.
then chan’s voice cut through it—gentle, careful. “can I ask something?”
you nodded slowly.
he was quiet again. then: “I don’t want to be weird, but… could we talk? I mean, catch up or something. It’s been too long.”
you should’ve said no.
you should’ve walked away..
but micha had already taken chan’s hand. already tugged him toward the pond to show him ducks.
and your heart—your tired, aching, too-soft heart—said yes before your mouth did.
“…okay.”

time had passed..
there were three plates on the table now. three mugs.
it wasn’t official. no one said anything. but it was the kind of routine that just… formed. slowly, naturally. like he had never really been gone. like the three years hadn’t torn a hole in both your lives that still hadn’t quite healed.
chan was just there now.
he stopped asking if he could come over. he brought dinner without texting first. he had a habit of kicking off his shoes at the door like he belonged here. like it was his second home.
even micha had started calling the spot next to him at the table “chan’s chair.”

tonight, micha was asleep on the couch, curled under a blanket, tiny feet poking out. one of chan’s hoodies was bunched beneath his head like a pillow. his stuffed dinosaur was tucked under one arm, and his fingers still clutched the crayon he had been holding before he nodded off.
you stood in the kitchen, arms crossed over your chest, watching as chan gently lifted the blanket over him, so micha's little feet were covered too.
“you spoil him,” you whispered, a tired smile tugging at your mouth.
chan looked up, grinning. “he’s easy to spoil.”
you leaned against the counter, trying to look casual, but your heart ached in that way it always did when you watched them together for too long.
“he’s lucky,” you said.
chan glanced at you. “I think I’m the lucky one.”
you swallowed the lump rising in your throat and looked away.

the three of you had started doing everything together. grocery runs where micha insisted on pushing the cart. saturday picnics in the park, even in a comfortable cold weather, where you wrapped yourselves in blankets and watched micha chase pigeons.
chan never said no to micha. never once lost patience. and when micha got sick last month, it was chan who stayed overnight on the couch, reading to him when you were too tired to keep your eyes open. it was chan who made soup, held the bucket when micha threw up, and whispered stories to lull him back to sleep.
he never once asked why it all felt so familiar.
why the boy had his smile. his nose. his laugh.
he never asked why the way micha curled into him looked like instinct, not choice.
maybe he knew. maybe not. but either way, he didn’t say it. and neither did you.

“I used to think I’d never see you again,” he said quietly.
you didn’t answer.
he looked down, shaking his head with a bitter laugh. “and now I’m just… here. like I never left.”
“you didn’t leave,” you said. “I did.”
he looked at you, but not in a way that made you flinch. there was no blame in his eyes. just sadness. and something deeper. something almost like understanding.
“I’m glad you let me back in,” he said after a long pause. “even if I don’t really understand everything..”
your chest tightened.
you wanted to say it. every day, you almost did.
but how do you tell someone they’ve been holding their own child without knowing? how do you say, He’s yours, when he already treats him like he is—but with the gentleness of someone who thinks he isn’t allowed to?
so instead, you whispered, “thank you.”
for everything. for staying. for not asking.
chan reached out then, carefully, and brushed his pinky against yours. not holding your hand. just there. barely touching. a small thing. a steady thing.
“don’t thank me,” he said softly. “I needed this too.”
later, when he left for the night, he bent down and kissed the top of micha’s head. like always.
and like always, you watched the door after he was gone. watched the way the air felt heavier when he wasn’t in the room.
you went to your son and sat on the edge of the couch, brushing a curl from his forehead. he stirred a little in his sleep but didn’t wake.
“I’m sorry,” you whispered to him.
you didn’t say what for.
but you felt like you had to say it...

more time had passed
micha’s fourth birthday came with clouds, but no rain.
you thought you were just heading to breakfast. that was the plan: pancakes, a little balloon from the café, and a small cake at home later.
but when you opened the door, chan was already standing outside—grinning, holding a paper birthday crown, and holding up three tickets like they were gold.
you blinked. “what is this?”
chan crouched to micha’s level and held the crown out. “happy birthday, little one. how do you feel about roller coasters and cotton candy today?”
micha gasped like chan had just handed him the moon.
“theme park?!” he squealed. “for me?!”
chan nodded. “for you.”
you stood there, stunned, clutching your jacket to your chest as chan looked up at you.
“I cleared my whole day. thought maybe we could make it a memory,” he said. “unless you already had something planned.”
you shook your head, slowly smiling. “just pancakes.”

the drive was filled with music micha picked—cartoon songs and silly nursery rhymes—chan drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, occasionally singing along in a forced, terrible off-key voice just to make micha laugh.
and you watched them from the passenger seat, your heart aching in that familiar, quiet way.
this was his son.
and he didn’t know.
but somehow, he acted like he did.

the theme park was chaos in the best way. kids everywhere. screams and laughter floating through the air.
micha darted from ride to ride, and chan followed, holding his hand. lifting him up for better views. waiting in line for forty minutes just to get a two-minute spin on a rocket ship that micha couldn’t stop talking about.
you took pictures. too many. some of just micha, but more of micha and chan.
your phone filled with tiny, perfect memories you knew would hurt to look at one day.
at lunch, you sat at a table, watching micha devour his hot dog and tell a story that made no sense.
“he’s growing up fast,” chan said softly, after micha ran off to chase a random child he just met.
you nodded, eyes lingering on your son. “too fast.”
chan looked at you for a long moment. “you’ve done a good job with him.”
and you just gave him a very soft smile..

as the sun dipped lower, golden light spread across the park, stretching shadows and painting the sky in watercolor tones. micha was finally starting to slow down, his steps dragging just a little, his head resting more often on chan’s shoulder.
you sat together on a bench near the carousel. micha was in chan’s lap, half-asleep, clutching a plush tiger chan won at one of the game booths.
“he had the best day of his life,” you whispered, watching them.
chan looked down at the boy in his arms, brushing a hand through his hair.
“I think I did too,” he said quietly.
you looked at him.
the way he looked back made it hard to breathe.

when micha fell asleep in the back seat on the drive home, and rhan reached back to tuck the blanket around him, you saw the gentleness in his touch.
the care in his voice when he whispered, “happy birthday, little man.”
and you knew that even without the title—chan being the father—he already was everything micha needed.

you arrived back already.
you stood in the kitchen, washing the plates that you did not wash in the morning, staring out the window at nothing. the house was too still. even the soft hum of the fridge felt louder than it should have.
chan was sitting on the couch, hands clasped in front of him, head down like he was deep in thought.
he hadn’t spoken much since you got home from the theme park.
not since micha had hugged him tight and whispered, “I love you, chan,” while the man was dragging him inside.
you dried your hands and walked into the living room, arms crossed against your chest.
“hey,” you said gently. “you okay?”
chan looked up at you.
his eyes were different. not warm and soft like usual. just… full. quietly storming.
“I’ve been trying really hard not to ask,” he said, voice low. “trying not to ruin anything. trying to just… be here. because that’s what matters, right?”
you didn’t move.
“today was amazing,” he said. “watching him laugh like that? I would’ve given anything for it.”
you sat down across from him, heart pounding. “I know.”
he let out a small breath, almost a laugh, but it cracked halfway through.
“I can’t stop thinking about it,” he said. “the way he looks at me. the way he clings to me. how fast he let me in.”
he paused. Looked at you—really looked at you.
“I’ve missed a lot in my life, but I’m not stupid.”
your throat tightened. “chan…”
he stared at his hands for a long time before speaking again. “I used to dream about having a child. not anytime soon. but one day. and sometimes… when I’m with him, it feels like I already do.”
you bit the inside of your cheek, willing yourself not to cry.
“every time I look at him,” chan said, voice barely above a whisper, “I see pieces of me. It’s like I know, but I don’t. and I keep telling myself it’s in my head, that I’m being selfish, imagining things that aren’t mine to imagine…”
he trailed off, then leaned forward, elbows on his knees, hands shaking slightly.
“I’m just tired of not knowing what this is. I love that kid more than I ever thought I could. but it’s driving me crazy not knowing why it feels like he’s part of me.”
your heart was breaking.
then he looked up at you again, and asked—softly, carefully, but like he needed to ask it more than he needed to breathe.
“Is he mine?”
the room stilled.
you opened your mouth. closed it.
the words were there.
they were right there.
but you couldn’t.
you just… couldn’t.
because the second you said yes, the world would shift. and you didn’t know what would come next. If he’d walk away. If he’d fall apart. If he’d stay.
so you just sat there, lips trembling—silent.
chan watched you for a long, long time. his expression cracked, just a little.
he didn’t say anything else.
he didn’t need to.
your silence was the answer.
and that, somehow, hurt worse than anything you could’ve said.
“I’m sorry if I pushed you.”
you shook your head panicky. “you didn’t..”
you looked at him, eyes burning. “you deserve to know. you should’ve known.”
he didn’t say anything. just waited.
and then, finally — finally — it slipped out. quiet and cracked, but true.
“he’s yours.”
the second the words left your mouth, the weight of them crashed over everything. like a dam breaking open inside you.
chan sat still for a moment. blinking.
you wiped at your face, choking back a sob. “micha is your son.”
he exhaled, sharp and shaky. “oh my god..”
“I was pregnant when we broke up. I didn’t know how to tell you. I was scared you’d hate me, or feel trapped, or leave anyway. And then when I didn’t tell you right away, it got harder and harder.”
he didn’t speak.
“fear took control of me.. and i left you. I just left you, without telling you what's wrong.. i know i had no right to just leave you like that... I know that this was my worst decision ever... and i knew that leaving you would hurt me more than anything- but I just.. i am so sorry channie.. ", you cried out
“three years,” he whispered. “I missed three years.”
“I know,” you said, breaking. “I’m so sorry.. I was just..- all I did was hurt us all.”
chan burried his face in his hands.
and for a long time, neither of you spoke.
until he whispered, so broken and full of love, “he called me his favorite man today, when him and i left the bathroom..”
that’s when you started crying.
real, shaking tears that wouldn’t stop.
and chan moved closer, didn’t ask permission, just held you — arms wrapping around you like he’d never stopped knowing how.
“I’m here now,” he said, over and over. “I’m here.”

micha woke up to the smell of pancakes and the low sound of voices in the kitchen.
he shuffled in, bedhead and sleepy eyes, dragging his new tiger plush by the tail.
you and chan both turned when he entered.
he rubbed his eyes and looked up at you. “morning..”
you picked him up and sat him on your lap, your heart pounding as chan came to sit beside you.
“micha,” you said softly. “can we talk to you for a minute?”
he blinked, nodding slowly.
you looked at chan, who gave you the smallest, quietest nod.
you smoothed your hand over micha’s back and took a breath.
“there’s something really important we want you to know,” you began. “something about you. and about channie.”
micha tilted his head. “okay..?”
you looked at chan. he reached for micha’s little hand.
“I love you, micha,” chan said, his voice unsteady but calm. “more than anything. you know that, right?”
micha nodded with a shy smile. “yeah.!”
“and,” chan continued, but then stayed silent.
micha looked between you both. very confused on why it takes you two so long, to already tell him the important information.. he just woke up and wants to eat already.
and finally you said it gently.
“micha, chan is your dad.”
the little boy blinked.
then blinked again.
and for a moment, no one moved.
“you mean…” micha looked at chan, eyes wide. “for real? like you are my mommy? he is my daddy?”
chan nodded, laughing a bit. “yeah. for real, little man.”
“why didn’t you tell me before?”
you took a breath, pulling micha close. “It’s my fault. i am sorry micha. but we’re telling you now because you deserve to know the truth!”, you smiled softly, kiss attack him.
micha squealed, giggled loud and pushed your face away.
then he looked at chan. “you weren’t there before i saw you. were you busy?”
chan’s sighed. “I’m so sorry, micha. i would’ve been there every single day... if i knew you before-”
micha blinked at him.
and then, slowly, he reached over and wrapped his arms around chan’s neck.
chan held him so tight, tears falling freely.
“It’s okay,” micha whispered. “you’re here now daddy!”
you watched them, heart cracked wide open — in the worst and best way.

a few weeks later, chan moved the toothbrush you gave him into the same cup as yours.
he had moved in officially only a week after that talk.
there were a lot of cute moments.
chan coming to daycare pickup and micha running into his arms like he hadn’t seen him in years.
drawing “my family” in daycare and putting all three of your names under big, smiling stick figures.
late night talks on the couch, your head on chan’s shoulder as you whispered about the future— but not with fear this time.
and then there was the quiet day in the park when micha, sticky with ice cream and grass-stained, looked up and said:
“I am the happiest!!”
chan looked at you over his head.
and in that look, you saw it—
all the pain.
all the healing.
all the love.
you didn’t erase the past.
you carried it. learned from it. let it shape you.
but now, you were building something new.
a home with laughter in its walls. with forgiveness in its foundation. with love filled in the air.
you weren’t broken anymore.
you were healing.
becoming a real family..

this is for sure my saddest fanfiction...
like I actually teared up while writing this- but maybe its just me..
anyways micha does not 100% gets what is going on. he is only 4 years old afterall. but he is a very smart boy still. and a really understanding child :>

pretty good team Ⅱ

college!minho x reader
warnings: none
genre: college love
summary: after the group project- you and lee know became surprisingly close. and when then it was time for prom...

when you first got paired with lee know for the group project, you honestly thought it was a dream. he was that guy on campus — the one everyone knew, everyone liked, everyone either wanted to be or wanted to date.
but minho surprised you. he didn’t treat you like just a temporary partner or someone he was stuck with. he actually talked to you. asked about your thoughts on the project, shared funny stories, even insisted on grabbing coffee together after class “for inspiration.” and just like that, a friendship bloomed.
now, months later, your name lit up on his phone often. he’d walk with you between classes. you'd trade playlists and inside jokes. people noticed — how could they not — but you tried not to read too much into it. because friendship with minho was already more than you ever expected.
and now, it was april. prom season. the whole college was buzzing with talk of dresses, tuxes, after-parties, and who was going with who. You tried to act chill, but part of you couldn’t help thinking about it. wondering.
would he ask you?
you doubted it. why would he? he could have anyone.

"you're going, right?" felix asked one afternoon, snapping you out of your daze in the cafeteria.
you poked at your lunch and shrugged. "yeah, I guess. just not sure who with."
"you mean not sure if minho is asking...?" he teased, and you rolled your eyes, but you didn’t deny it.
minho hadn’t brought it up. not once. and with every passing day, it felt less likely.
until thursday.

you were in the library, working on your homework, when a shadow fell over the screen of your laptop.
"hey."
you looked up — and there he was, in his usual hoodie and perfect hair.
"hey," you smiled, trying not to sound too hopeful.
"you doing anything on friday?" he asked, casually leaning against the table.
you blinked. "...friday? "
"yeah." his voice was calm, but his eyes — they were doing that thing where they crinkled just a bit, playful and teasing.
"um, not really. why?"
he smiled, wider this time, and pulled something from his hoodie pocket — a small envelope, decorated with some cat stickers..
your heart skipped. "is that…?"
"It's an invitation," he said. "to prom. with me. If you're up for it."
you stared at him, completely still.
"or," he added quickly, "we could skip the whole thing and go get late-night ramen instead. your choice. but I figured, if I’m going, I want to go with you."
you laughed — partly out of disbelief, partly because your chest suddenly felt way too full.
"yes," you said, trying not to grin too hard. "I’d love to go with you."

prom night arrived faster than you expected.
you stood in front of the mirror, smoothing out your outfit for the hundredth time. just as nerves were kicking in hard, your phone buzzed.
minho: "I’m outside :)"
you found him waiting for you, looking stupidly good in his suit — and when he saw you, he just stared for a second.
“wow,” he breathed. “you look... incredible.”
you blushed, muttering something awkward, but he offered his hand like you were stepping into a fairytale.

and the night was perfect. the lights, the music, the laughter. he barely left your side. you danced and you laughed at other people's failed attempts at the macarena.
when the final slow song started playing, minho looked at you.
"can I have this dance?" he asked.
you nodded, heart thudding as he pulled you close. his hands settled gently on your waist; yours rested against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat.
"you know," he said softly, "I almost chickened out asking you."
you blinked up at him. "seriously?"
"yeah. thought maybe you didn’t see me that way."
you laughed under your breath. “minho, I’ve been waiting for you to ask me for weeks.”
he chuckled, then leaned down a little closer, so close you could feel his breath on your cheek.
“well,” he whispered, “since we’ve both been waiting...”
and just like that, he kissed you. sweet, soft, and warm — the kind of kiss that made the rest of the room fade away. the kind of kiss that you’d never want to end.
he kissed you... he actually just kissed you.. and its not a dream.. its real. very real. so so so real...
you pulled back slightly, dazed. “took you long enough.”
he smirked. “worth the wait though, right?”
you nodded, smiling. yeah. totally worth it.

you were still caught in the soft glow of minho’s kiss when you heard it:
“FINALLY!”
the two of you looked to the yell just to see a chaotic group of boys near the punch table losing their minds like it was the world cup. hyunjin had both hands dramatically pressed to his heart like he’d just witnessed a proposal. felix was practically bouncing in place, holding up his phone like he’d caught it all on camera. changbin was fist-pumping the air. and seungmin? he was just sitting back in a chair, sipping proudly on his soda like he’d been waiting months for this exact moment.
“oh my god,” you whispered, mortified. “they were watching?”
minho didn’t even look surprised. he chuckled, clearly trying not to break into full-on laughter. “of course they did. I may have… told them I was gonna kiss you today and make me yours.”
your eyes widened. “wait. they knew?! so felix knew you would invite me? HEY he could've told me ugh.”
“yes he knew. all of them did,” he said with a proud little nod. “pretty sure Jisung made a playlist just for this moment.”
from the corner of the dance floor, jisung yelled, “play track nine!” — and just like that, a ridiculously romantic ballad started blasting through the speakers.
you groaned and buried your face in minho’s chest, half-laughing, half-dying inside. “this is so embarrassing.”
he tilted your chin up, eyes warm. “nah. It’s perfect.”
then, louder — just for the guys — he shouted, “okay, okay, you guys can stop watching now!”
“no chance!” hyunjin shouted back, dramatically wiping a fake tear. “my babies are in love!”
minho grinned, lacing his fingers through yours like it was second nature.
and even though the time passed fast, that moment — with minho’s hand in yours and your friends cheering way too loud in the background — felt like the beginning of something real.
" i love you Y/N. I am all yours now.. " , you heard him say.
" and i am all yours too minho.. " , you smiled, leaning in for just another magical kiss..

i dont really know when exactly the first pat hit 100 notes... so i hope i did not continue this part to late-
and i really hope you liked this story, because i actually did :)

can't just forget Ⅲ

past bully!seungmin x reader
warnings: getting lost? if thats a warning
genre: enemies to lovers
summary: you are on a trip for a project. seungmin took his " proving you he changed " a little to serious. and in the end you even got lost with him.
Part 1 Part 2

the morning sun filtered through the trees as you, other students and the boys stepped off the bus at the edge of a forest. the air was crisp, and the smell of pine filled your lungs as you looked around at the towering trees that stretched toward the sky. this wasn’t just a field trip—it was a part of your college project on the environmental impact of forests, and the boys had been paired with you for the project. yes seungmin had apologized.. and yes some of the boys never even had anything to do with the bullying. and still you felt a bit weird. but you tried not to think too hard about it—after all, you were friends now.

you hadn’t been able to shake the feeling of his presence since the start of the trip. it wasn’t that you hated him—not anymore. but this boy really couldn’t give you some freedom…you and seungmin had gone through a lot to get to this point. he’d been your bully, making fun of you and constantly pushing your buttons. but after his apology, his action that proved how he really meant it and plenty of open, honest conversations, you’d grown close. in fact, you actually call each other friends now.
and seungmin seemed to be going out of his way to prove he had changed. well he did already.. but PROVE EVEN MORE. he was everywhere. if you took a step, seungmin was two steps behind you. if you stopped to take a photo of the trees, he was suddenly beside you, his shoulder brushing against yours as he peered at the camera. it wasn’t horrible, not at all. it was just... a bit much. he was constantly hovering, and honestly, you were getting tired of it.

“so, what do you think about the forest’s role in maintaining the local ecosystem?” seungmin asked, his voice too close to your ear as he peeked at your notes.
you clenched your jaw, trying to keep your cool. “uh, yeah, it’s important,” you replied, a little more curtly than you intended. “a lot of species rely on these forests for survival.. you know, the usual.”
seungmin didn’t back off. he simply nodded. “yeah, but the trees are also really beautiful, right? I mean, just look at them,” he said, his eyes glancing from the towering trunks to your face, his expression softer now. “it’s hard to imagine that something so beautiful is slowly dying because of humans.”
you stiffened, caught between appreciating his words and feeling uncomfortable at how close he was getting. “yeah, I guess,” you muttered, stepping away, but seungmin didn’t seem to take the hint.
one of the other boys, changbin, caught the scene and gave you a teasing smile. “you two are like an old married couple,” he said, raising an eyebrow.
you rolled your eyes. “we’re just friends, bin.”
changbin grinned mischievously. “right, sure, just friends,” he teased, glancing at seungmin, who was still hovering around you. “seems like you’re more than that.”
“changbin, shut up,” you groaned, resisting the urge to smack his arm. “it’s not like that and you know that.”
the rest of the group laughed, but you could see seungmin’s cheeks redden slightly, his gaze flickering to the ground. you felt a little guilty—he was genuinely trying to make up for his past, and getting really close to you, maybe actually fighting hard to get you to like like him.. but still, the constant closeness was starting to get you on the nerves.

as the group moved deeper into the forest, it didn’t get any better. you were all supposed to take different notes and pictures, but seungmin somehow kept finding excuses to stay close to you. whether it was holding the notebook while you wrote down notes, or stopping next to you as you examined a plant, he was always there, his presence just a little too noticeable.
you had to admit, though, he was making an effort. and that was the problem. you couldn’t exactly stay mad at him for being a little too considerate, could you? after all, he wasn’t the same seungmin who used to make fun of you. this was a new seungmin.
but why did he have to do it so... intensely?
“can you stop following me around?” you finally blurted out.
seungmin looked surprised, but then his lips curved into a sheepish smile. “i’m not following you,” he said softly, rubbing the back of his neck. “I just... I just thought you might like the company.”
you stared at him for a moment, “i’m fine. really. i don’t need you on my tail all the time, okay?”
seungmin’s smile faltered for a brief second, but then he nodded, taking a step back. “sorry. I get it.”
it felt wrong, though, seeing him step away like that. you knew he was trying, but he was trying way to hard that it had created a weird tension. still you couldn’t help but feel a little bad for snapping at him.
as you walked further into the forest, the rest of the group spread out. the sky had darkened a little, the leaves rustling in the breeze, but it didn’t feel too ominous—just peaceful.
seungmin eventually fell into step beside you again, though this time, he was careful not to crowd you. there was an unspoken understanding between you two now, the kind that only came from years of awkwardness, growth, and figuring out how to be friends despite the past. you had both learned how to navigate it, even if it wasn’t perfect.
“this place is amazing,” seungmin said, glancing around. “I never realized how much beauty was hiding in a forest.”
you couldn’t help but smile at his wonder. “it is,” you agreed, “but AGAIN. you don’t have to hover around me to appreciate it, you know?”
seungmin chuckled, giving you a playful look. “so you’re sure you don’t need me around to enjoy a walk in the forest?”
you gave him a half-smile. “exactly.”
a bit away from you, the rest of the boys were whispering to each other, clearly up to something.
“hey, Y/N,” hyunjin called out, waggling his eyebrows. “how’s the ‘romantic’ walk with seungmin going?”
you shot him a glare, knowing exactly where this was going. “stop it, hyune” you warned.
han, who was standing next to him, added with a teasing grin, “yeah, you really turned that man into a clingy loyal puppy yk?”
“stoooooop!” you covered your face, annoyed by the teasing. seungmin, however, once again seemed genuinely embarrassed. his face turned a bright red, and he scratched his head nervously. cute.
“you literally are making this so weird.. just shut up.” seungmin stammered, his voice cracking slightly.
you laughed. “ye! listen to seungmin. don’t make it weird.”
the boys erupted in laughter behind you as seungmin let out a dramatic sigh, looking up at the sky. “I’m going to start to regret trying to be nice.”
you smiled at him. “you’re doing fine. just... don’t worry. you giving me space wont make it worse or something, if that’s what you think. Its actually going to make it better.”
seungmin shot you a playful glare but then smiled, the tension between you finally easing.
“okay, now I promise that I got it. I’ll give you some space. “ he said.

a day passed.. the sunlight filtered through the trees, casting a soft, golden glow across the forest floor. you woke up, stretching your arms and yawning as you pulled yourself out of the sleeping bag. it didn’t take you long when you noticed something... strange.
the campfire was cold. the air was silent. you blinked and looked around, your heart suddenly racing.
the boys were gone.
you blinked again, trying to make sense of it. the campsite, which had been full of life the night before, was eerily quiet. there was no sign of the kids. their sleeping bags were abandoned.
“seungmin?” you called out. you hoped, at the very least, and actually knew he should be still around.
seungmin’s sleepy head popped out of his tent nearby, his hair messy from sleep. he looked just as confused as you.
“where’s everyone?” you asked, glancing around the now-deserted campsite.
“I... don’t know,” he replied, rubbing his eyes. “I just woke up.”
you both stood there for a second, staring at the empty campsite, before your eyes locked and you asked "do you think they... left us?"
seungmin blinked, then a playful smile tugged at his lips. “well, if they did leave us, I guess it’s just you and me against the forest now.”
you rolled your eyes but couldn’t help but chuckle. “right. great.”
“well,” seungmin said with a mischievous grin, “we should probably find them.?”
you sighed dramatically. “I don’t even know where to start.”
“they can’t be that far from camp,” he said confidently, glancing at the dense trees around you. “let’s go.”
and just like that, the two of you ventured off into the forest. it wasn’t long before you realized that the forest, while beautiful, was a lot bigger and more confusing than you’d anticipated.
seungmin kept up a steady stream of chatter as you walked, a distraction from the growing unease. his jokes were lighthearted and sometimes a bit silly, but there was something so comforting about the way he filled the silence.
“did you know that forests are like the ultimate multitaskers?” seungmin asked with a smirk. “they take in carbon dioxide, produce oxygen, and still manage to look all mysterious and magical at the same time. I’m honestly jealous.”
you snorted despite yourself. “you’re such a dork.”
seungmin feigned offense, placing a hand on his chest. “hey! I’m just teaching you about the wonders of nature, okay?”
you couldn’t help but smile. his lightheartedness was contagious, and before long, you found yourself laughing along with him. the awkward tension you’d been feeling the day before was replaced with something easier. he was being so... seungmin.
“you know,” seungmin continued as you both stumbled over a particularly large root, “when I used to mess with you.. man I really was such an idiot- or worse.. I gotta say sorry again for that. for making you feel bad and stuff. like I truly feel horrible.”
you blinked, caught off guard by his sudden once again apology. you stopped walking for a second, glancing over at him. he wasn’t looking at you directly, his eyes focused on the forest floor as if trying to avoid your gaze.
“I know,” you said softly, your voice quiet. “it really took me a long time to trust you after that. thank you for changing seungmin.. no matter what you do now.. even if it might annoy me a little- I still really appreciate it, min.”
he nodded, his voice soft when he spoke again. “I get it. I’ll do whatever it takes to make things SOO right, you´d never have to worry I could be an ass again! even if it means following you around for the rest of the trip.”
you couldn’t help but laugh. “please, no more of that.”
seungmin’s eyes sparkled, his grin returning in full force. “I’ll take that as a challenge, then. If I can’t follow you, then... how about I give you compliments instead?”
you raised an eyebrow. “compliments?”
“yeah,” he said, his voice dramatically serious, “I have to admit, you’re not just pretty—you’re clever, too. you always know the best way to get things done. like right now—who else could stay so calm when they’re stuck in the middle of the forest with a guy. and when they are probably lost too.”
your heart fluttered unexpectedly. clever? pretty?
seungmin was grinning widely now, clearly enjoying himself. “and you’ve got the kind of smile that can light up a room, you know that? It’s so distracting.”
you felt the warmth spread across your face. you had to look away quickly, brushing your hair behind your ear. “okay, okay, that’s enough,” you said, trying to hide your flustered expression.
seungmin chuckled, looking way too pleased with himself. “nah, I think I could go on. I mean, you’re also really kind. and brave! you’re handling being lost so well. most people would be freaking out by now.”
you couldn’t help but let out a soft laugh. Despite yourself, you were softening toward him. “I’m not that calm. trust me, I’m starting to panic. and you are starting to scare me”
“oh, come on, don’t lie,” seungmin rolled his eyes, nudging your shoulder lightly.
you let out a long breath, a smile tugging at your lips.
seungmin flashed you one of those trademark goofy grins that you couldn’t help but adore. “the real adventure is just beginning. who knows? maybe we’ll find a hidden treasure in the middle of this forest.”

at that moment, a rustling sound broke the rhythm of your conversation. you both froze, listening closely as footsteps approached. a familiar voice called your name.
“Y/N? SEUNGMIIIIN?”
you whipped your head around to see bang chan emerging from the trees, a relieved expression on his face. “there you two are! we’ve been looking for you everywhere!!”
seungmin raised an eyebrow. “but you guys left us behind. man we were having such a romantic walk in the woods, you know?”
“ seungmin. “ you groaned but laughed right after.
chan blinked, then let out a dramatic sigh, shaking his head. “you two are impossible. we literally told you last evening we would wake up earlier to go to the lake that was near. You two were so dead asleep.. EVEN HYUNJIN WASN’T? so we left without you. and when we came back, you two were gone! anyways.. are you okay?”
“yeah,” you replied. “we’re fine.”
seungmin flashed you a playful wink. “It wasn’t so bad. we had a lot of fun, right?”
you laughed, feeling lighter than you had all trip. “yeah, I guess you’re right.”

as the group started to head back to camp, you felt a warmth in your chest that hadn’t been there before. this cant be it, right..? did seungmin seriously win? are you actually falling for him?
for sure there is no need in denying it… because yes you are. yes you are falling for him. you completely trust him now. there is no worry in you anymore. you know he changed and he will never be the bad seungmin again. you trust him.. you trust seungmin. you actually forgave him.. actually managed to forget.
forget the past, because the present is so much better now. and you promised yourself.. after this trip is over, you are surprising seungmin with an invite.. only you and him.. and an actual date.

I apologize that it took a little to long to post the part 3. I was very busy these days- and this part took way longer too, cause I made it longer then the other two parts.
I couldn’t end it here. because I want the next part to be the last one. so hope you liked this part and hope you will love the last part too.
I will post it once this hit 150 notes
