A few thoughts about Dita Von Teese's natal chart 🤔
I don't have a better looking thinking emoji for the title, shrug
I stumble on a interview with her that comes out very recently. That reminds me what I like about her (arguably the imagination I have for this figure of a person). Then I just google "dita von teese natal chart" lolllll So I am going from there.
If you are interested to look at the same chart, I go with the one from AstroSeek. And said interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHfDxVK-Ap4
She has quite a few placements in Libra. I am not at all surprised because who gets surprised when Venus is gorgeous, full of glamour, commanding attention and admiration?
There are little things that she says in the interview that rings when I look at her chart. Such as her early developing her own sense of beauty, her strong personal style (in sense of beauty and aesthetic), how she started in performing art from a young age, how being in the act of performance makes her confident and comfortable. That spells Mercury and Sun Libra to me.
Beauty, performance, art are all means of her communication. She has a piece to say and it's all in the performance and the imagination where her stage comes from.
Also, subjectively, she is beautiful. 🤣 Libra again. Like Venus. She's just there and she is beauty.
Other than the two Libra placements, Aries Chiron and Leo Venus are very interesting placements.
She said it in the interview that she felt terribly shy in her younger days and she was not a very assertive person. Even now, she sometimes get this phantom told off about being a bitch when she say no to things.
I presume this is what Chrion is for. You are born with this specific challenge, and if you work towards it, you will get better. From time to time, you may still feel the weight of the challenge, but if you look behind you, you are so far ahead from where you started.
And for her Venus, it looks like it doesn't form a sextile with any of her Libra placements. Anyhow, Venus in Leo, she is destined to shine lol. That's how I look at Leo at times. If say Leo is king, then a king needs his subjects. If say Leo is a star, then it needs a subject to shine on to. It's not very different in this case. The brightness of Venus is only getting tuned up by Leo if anything. And I think Leo Venus just has this natural charisma. They command attention when they simply stand there.
There are other things in her chart but either (A) I don't get some immediate association for it so they are not in here, and (B) this is just a quick ramble, bleh.

Control freaks in Water Elements
A little bit of a click bait title, but here we are.
"Control freaks" as in, "how the water elements control people".
First off, the water element I am least familiar with, Pisces.
Perhaps they are the least controlling out of all three, in a sense. They don't actively have the desire to assert control over somebody for the sake of it. Rather, they are more like radiating their need and give people a task. Such as, "You said you love me then why wouldn't you do X for me?".
The strongest impression from my experience with Pisces is, "If I knows what this person needs, I can control them: make them do as I please." For the sake of controlling? No. For the fun of it? No. Doing it consciously? Half and half. Doing it purposefully? Usually not.
Then we are onto the one I experienced quite a bit: Cancer.
They are usually more controlling than they realise. Similar to Pisces, they don't do it out of the need to "control others". They are usually controlling over people who they hold close to their heart, typically family and maybe close friends. By extension, these people are part of them.
Caners don't want to "control" them. Cancers want "what's best for their loved ones". A very relatable example is your stereotypical East Asian mums (yea I am basically one lol Not being funny I tick so many boxes on that checklist.).
They usually starts from "I want my child to grow up healthy so they need to eat nutritious food, eg broccoli". What happens if the kid doesn't like to eat broccoli? Some of them will list 9999 reasons as to why you should just eat it. Some of them will cook the broccoli in a different way. Some of them will look up other vegetables that has the nutrients they want the kid to have, and then feed them the alternative vegetable. What remains is, the kid is going to eat the vegetable that Cancers think is good for the kid. And to achieve that goal, broccoli won't be their only option, and the above listed ways won't be the only attempts they make.
While it sounds all loving and sweet, the catch is the definition of "good". Cancers themselves define it. You can try to communicate with them, more often than not they are willing to listen, but if it goes against something they believe fundamentally? It's easier for you to just eat the damn broccoli, really. Particularly they do it out of love (the most difficult part being, their love is genuine) and "for your good", they are relentless in that regard.
Lastly, Scorpio.
Disclaimer: I have terrible personal experience with them, so take whatever I say with a grain of salt.
They are the bunch who control people for fun lol. That's it. That's the strongest impression I got. lollllll
They are born with this mysterious air of authority/decisiveness. They have a passion for digging for secrets. They will figure you all out and use anything and everything as joysticks and buttons on a gamepad: to control other people. Controlling others is a weird talent and need they are born with. Potentially part of the need to control "other people" comes from the deep rooted insecurities and lack of trust for the environment. I once told the friend who had heavy Scorpio placements that they look at the world through the lens of Silent Hill. Everything is dangerous and ready to pounce them when they are least expected. All they said was "......well you are not wrong." lol
Luckily, they don't do it to everyone. They mainly invest their energy into people they want. Get ready for a fight of some sort when you want to shake them off, even just a little protest, because (1) they hate being challenged and (2) hate letting go with passion.

Capricorn and Humour
One of the stereotypes about Capricorn is that, they are no fun.
I don't think they are no fun. They have their funny side and their own sense of humour. Despite it may be the driest thing in this world, it exists.
Part of the impression that Capricorns are not funny comes from their cold outside. For all 3 Earth signs, if Taurus is a fertile land since it's ruler is Venus, Virgo is smooth sand in the desert for them being very fine and precise about things, then Capricorn is probably a very tall and cold rocky mountain.
It is not covered in vegetarian and probably doesn't have much water running through. Capricorn's ruler is Saturn. It's cold and distant. Saturn is traditionally associated with bad things. I can understand that, in the same sense of nobody loves taking important and stressful exams. To me, Saturn is like a sign standing in someone's timeline. It stand where it needs to, and when it's your time to see it, that usually means you are going to have some hard trial waiting ahead of you. It is more of a pointer rather than the cause of it.
I once said to a friend, if Cancer's love is use one pincer to cut food for you and the other pincer be protection for you, then Capricorn's love is kick you off a cliff, prescribe you a harsh trial, and hope you can learn to survive this equally harsh world. Capricorns love too, just maybe not in the very common way.
Same applies to their sense of humour. They make jokes and love good joke too. Most likely their sense of humour is very dry, or very dark, or both.
That is also to do with how they see the world and what can they see. They usually see some harsh/dark/cold truth and like to see things from a macro point of view.
You can probably guess by now, their favourite/typical sense of humour is going to be sarcasm, mockery, irony, absurdity, or a mix and match of the above. It is understandably not everyone's cup of tea. They also prefer jokes with substance. A simple "[insert name]'s face looks like fart" isn't going to tickle them. They like jokes that take a little effort to understand or premises (in terms of knowledge or culture).
Here is the most (public) acceptable example I can think of
Friend: Which box of eggs do you want? Capricorn: The cheapest. Friend: Oh my, the cheapest. Capricorn: Yea, give me the most exploited eggs. Friend: Most exploited is it? (already giggling) Capricorn: Yea, I want to taste that unfiltered suffering, just give me the cheapest one
Did the friend laugh? Of course they did. That's how they became friends.

your spouse’s family, ♡ ྀིྀིྀིྀིྀིྀིྀིྀི
a side of relational astrology i hardly see bc people forget that marriage or any life-long union between two people is going to naturally blend families
think if these are people u wanna deal with for possibly the rest of ur life OR if ur not willing to, is ur partner willing to compromise their birth family’s access to accommodate u? things to think about!
look at the partner’s moon/sun/saturn/2h/3h/4h/9h/10h. moon is mother, family. 2h is immediate family & family-instilled values. 3h/4h are mother. 3h is community, culture, or environment, as well as siblings if they have any. 4h is family overall, foundations, familial dynamics. sun/saturn/9h/10h are the father.
some things overlap, so it depends on the sect of ur chart & other things such as dignities and such. also just what u think makes sense for ur chart :P
how is their chart already set up? do they have malefics (sun/mars/saturn/the nodes) on the signifiers of the family? are their familial signifiers weakened or afflicted (in detriment, in fall, in invisible houses, unaspected, no triplicity, etc). like what’s going on. and how does this manifest? does a capricorn moon simply give them a hard-working mother, or does it give them a mother who neglects them?
now think about it in relation to u … sure, they have a 10h cancer moon. and that’s great. but what if it falls in ur 8h? or u have a 4h cap saturn opposing? or u have mars in cancer in ur 1h? what does that mean for their familial dynamic?
think about ur chart. think ab ur family dynamic. spouse’s family will be represented by the derivative 7h to any familial signifier.
so for example, ur spouse’s immediate family is represented by the 8h. what’s going on in there? where is ur 8h lord? what sign is it in? etc
charts aside, i think anyone can be together even if ur individual families may not be crazy about ur selection & vice versa but it’s about asserting boundaries and knowing how to advocate for urself and ur partner.
some people really just have shitty families and that’s luck of the draw at that point. ur partner has no control over that. they do however have control over whether or not they give their family the impression that they can disrespect their partner. & vice versa.
it’s a matter of the family u born with vs the family u choose. but that’s why “blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb.” sometimes, the way ur family treats ur spouse/partner is telling on how they see u. someone who respects u isn’t going to disrespect things or people u care about. and sometimes, we are shown the dysfunction in our own families once we become a part of another.
i know people online want u to account for all nuance in the world even if it’s implicitly clear that there are natural exceptions to any rule so i will finish this off that this doesn’t count for cases of abuse. nobody has to respect an abuser.

Oh no, I have Oppostion, What should I do
Story I am sharing today is about myself. It happens just today.
First thing first, what is Opposition?
As the name suggests, this aspect is describing placements opposite to each other. E.g. Capricorn 10° against Cancer 10°, or within the allowed orb.
It is an aspect of very high tension as you may have already know, signs on the wheel, the next one is usually a response to the characters and traits of the previous sign. E.g. Sagittarius is very optimistic and drives towards the high ideal. Capricorn in response is more down earth (haha, earth) and focus on what can be realistically achieved. The typical vibe of Capricorn is also more pessimistic. If an adjacent sign is a "response" to the previous sign, then the opposite sign is the "opposite". E.g. Capricorn is very much about logic and reason (because it needs to e practical), while Cancer is all about feelings.
I like to say Opposition works in 2 ways. One is the two sides will drive towards each other and crash head to head. The other one is the two sides will constantly pull the other towards themselves. It's similar to "YOU should listen to me and do it MY way. NOW COME THIS WAY."
What happens if you have opposition in your natal chart?
I have my Mercury Capricorn pretty much exact Opposite to my Moon Cancer. So while I have feelings for a lot of things, my head will go "You are just thinking things. Feelings aren't real. Why are you so hang on to it?" But the feeling is actually there. Feelings and emotions may not be tangible but they affect a lot of things. Think of the time when someone walk into you when you are in a very good mood and when you are in a terrible mood.
With my head telling my heart say "These feelings aren't real. They don't matter.", my heart doesn't stop doing it's own thing. So I end up with a lot of lingering feelings that is unresolved.
Does that mean I am doomed? Fortunately, no.
The good thing about Opposition is that they are the exact opposite to each other. So if you pick up one half of the broken piece, you can see the other half. From one side, it's possible (and relatively easier than Square) to understand the opponent.
Magic happens when my Mercury tries to help my Moon in its own way.
====================================
The story goes, I made a little request to friend A and they declined it. The refusal in itself is absolutely fine. It was how they phrased it wasn't fine. (Note: it's the "feelings" that has gone wrong, not the "incident" itself gone wrong).
The way they refused me stoked some strong feelings inside me. Sometimes feelings will go away on its own because they are not that strong. But this one lingered.
I started to talk myself through it. That didn't work at all. I was still trapped in the feeling of "they did me wrong". Then I moaned about it to my other friend B.
I explained the whole exchange with A and where it went wrong, then B said something along the lines of "Yea I get you. A is just a shit person."
While B doesn't necessarily think A is 100% at fault (because my request was objectively reckless), what B said appeased my feelings instantly.
With my Mercury (mind and thinking, also communication), the Capricorn takes my feelings and the whole exchange(situation) apart, that off loaded some of the stress from my Moon (my feelings). And with validation comes in through my Mercury (friend B's words), my Moon was instantly appeased.
So this is one of the ways you can handle an Opposition. With help from one side, you can get through to the other side.
I hope this is helpful if you are trying to resolve internal struggles or handle challenged from transits to natal. Be a listening and analytical Mercury Capricorn, pass the remedy through the Mercury to the Moon.

Loki and water element
The queen and princess lollll wheezing. I just have to choose this one for funsies.
This post came to me when I was listening to a astrology podcast (when I was washing dishes). Also I don't feel like doing real work. Of course I don't. So here we are: a little post about water elements zodiac signs Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.
As per usual, disclaimer goes first.
I am by no means an expert of anything. This post is sort of a by-products while I am learning myself. This is the same as many things in astrology, it comes from association, interpretation, plus a little bit of imagination and what have you. You are more than welcomed to share your thoughts on any of my posts.
============================================
I am not a massive fan of Marvel, so Loki in this post is MCU exclusive Loki. It covers from Thor, Thor The Dark World, Thor Rangarok, and the scene at the beginning of the whichever Marvel movie where Loki died pretty much immediately (killed by Thanos, that's all I remember).
What I am taking about here is a lot about some classic characteristics of these 3 zodiac signs. "Loki" is our pretty demonstrator.
I think the main impression of Loki's whole character is quite Scorpio: Very intense feelings for things, constant guessing and suspicions, a natural urge to revenge, anything and everything to do with secrets, the pursuit of the one true root cause of things and deep level of meanings/understandings, an air of mystery and danger around him, "until death do us apart? No, darling, not even death can do us apart", transformed by death.
And this is pretty much what he is in Thor 1 and Avengers. He is very sensitive to people's unfriendliness. Everyone around him, except his mother and brother, look at him through a lens of suspicion. Everyone suspect "Omfg, he is plotting again. If he is not plotting right now, he is preparing for it right now."
Does he feel hurt? Of course he feels hurt. Does he want to be the "good boy" so people will change their mind about him? He may have tried at the beginning, but it definitely didn't work. Or at least it didn't work as how he expected to. So the hurt persists.
What does he do in response to the persist wound? Revenge.
At the start of it, it's all mischief for shits and giggles, but as the hurt continues to ferment within him (uh, yea, he will never forget the passer-by who gave him a funny look. Every if he forgets about that person's face, he wouldn't forget his own feelings when he caught that funny look that may or may not be directed to him.), his "revenge" will only go harsher and harsher.
Then when misfortune strikes, he stumbles on a massive hurtful secret. I still remember that scene where he shout "TELL ME" at Odin.
Intense emotion, deep cut wound, the collapse of the world his grow up and live in (the death), dark secrets, and explosion (especially emotional ones). This is very very Scorpio.
After this "death" of himself, he transforms into something else. If he was a grumpy princess who loved to pick at the dog because the dog growled at him 2 years ago, now real hatred enters his heart and mind. That will push him towards the a reckless and violent (not necessarily the gore type) revenge. And he utilise his own secrets as well. If his plan get executed exactly, then he would have the throne, glory, mother's love, he gets to play the hero (a massive middle finger to everyone who thinks him a schemer and coward), the secret of his frosty heritage will be forever buried. Perfect plan right?
But along side all those very intense Scorpio things, there are Cancer and Pisces as well.
A Cancer classic is "home". Loki shares a very deep bonding with his mother. He has her as his care and love giver, mentor, and friend. She is his anchor and source of sense of security. She is the "home" he loves the most and will always return to.
Say for an example, when he is locked up the cell, he has some nice stuff with him. I will not be surprised if the furniture is all from his own room and books from his own shelf. Part of the importance is that probably she is the person who provides those things to him and make a little "home" out of a cell. Or at least however comfortable he can get in a cell. The other part of the importance is that he accepts it.
With his sharp tongue and anger, he could have easily ignored her. If he wants to be real grumpy and "I don't want to have anything to do with you lot any more", he could have objected. But he accepts the things she provides and also engage in conversations. Yes yes he lashes out, yelled "You are not my mother", but you can see the instant regret on his face. He walks towards her when she turns her palm up towards him. He does reach his hand out. It is almost an apology, an attempt to reconcile, and probably also to seek comfort. Who doesn't know he is a mommy's boy? Everybody knows. Even Thor knows to bring her up when he wants Loki to do as told.
"She wouldn't want us to fight." Thor doesn't want to squabble with Loki, and that's what he tries. He brings up their mother. And a few lines before that, Thor also implied that Loki is also Freya's son. He confirms/acknowledges that she is Loki's mother. In other words, Loki's "home" is still his "home.
In that scene, Loki's gesture instantly flips from a heated argument back to the good old days banter. His reply to "She wouldn't want us to fight" is "But she wouldn't exactly be shocked." So the scene changes from two men arguing about some messy past; to two brothers having a squabble and they stop fight by entering a middle ground called "their mother". You can also describe it as "mommy is watching, better behave".
After both "mother " and "father" are dead, "brother" is Loki's new home. Loki loves staying at home. Even he goes off his own way, but when the chances presents itself, he is going to stay at "home". That little spaceship is much smaller than Asgard, but Thor anchors the address of Loki's new home there so Loki stays.
And finally, we get to the Pisces elements on him. I see merging, deception (ha lol), self-deception, instinctive, self sacrifice, and healing/to be a saviour.
Part of his insecurities comes from his desire to merge with people around him. It's painfully obvious that he has very different interest compare to people around him (including Thor and particularly Thor's merry little band of friends) and is a very person compare to the generalised Asgard culture. He doesn't really quite fit in to the environment he is in. He probably did try at some point. But from a very base level as a character, he is very different from a general Asgard inhabitant. If he isn't such material, then he can only pretend. If merging is his dream and he insists in dreaming, what happens when he can't materialise that dream? There you go, deception. Pretending to be what he isn't, is deceiving others. Insisting the one way he thinks that can help him to materialise his dream, is deceiving himself.
And at the end of the day, does he want to be the good boy who saves the day? Of course he does. You see that in the little theatre play he writes himself lol
Speak of the theatre play him write himself, that's another example of self-deception to me. Loki and Odin are very different people. Even if his magic is so powerful that nobody can see through the skin of Odin, for those who work closely with Odin, how is it possible to deceive all of them and convince them that he is the real Odin? I suspect, people around him knows he isn't Odin. But Loki will feel much safer if he believes that everybody falls for his deception.
Him faking death is also an interesting mix of Scorpio and Pisces. He fakes (Pisces, deception, illusion) death (Scorpio), and then he gets to start somewhere new (Scorpio, transform) and do his own thing.
============================================
Yea I lied lol This is not a little post, it's another long ass post lollll It felt like a short and quick think I can type up in 15mins and of course that didn't happen.
Here you go, some thoughts that I have from listening to podcast and thinking about my baby boy. What I say in here is not necessarily accurate in terms of movie lore or Marvel lore, but these traits on him are typical and classic water signs. Thank you the princess for demonstrating for us lollllllll

What does it even mean?!?!?!
Intro to how to describe a natal/birth chart
Yea, the first time I look at a chart, my only thought was "the fuck is this nonsense". Still, sometimes when I look at a chart I think, "the fuck is this shit?"
So here I am trying to make sense of all the nonsense. Coo? lol
Disclaimer first.
This is an example/fake chart I generated for explanation
Terminology may not be perfect
I hope this helps. If it doesn't, well, 🤷‍♀️let me know and see what we can figure out together
Some technical details about this chart (useful for people who already know something about natal charts. If it doesn't make sense to you, don't worry, it soon will)
it's generated this on Astro Seek
only major aspects are displayed (default orb 7°)
house system Placidus, it's default and what I usually look at
Tropical Zodiacs
====================================
First, let's look at the rings from the outside to the inside.
The ring on the outside is the theoretical 12 zodiac signs. That's why it is perfectly divided into 12 portions, 30° for each sign. This ring gives the actual placement for the planets. E.g. Mars at the top center of the chart, is placed in Cancer 20°21 (20 degree 21 minute).
One ring in is each of the houses and the space required to write things down for display. House number is one right further in. Starting from 9 o'clock, counting from 1 to 12 anticlockwise. E.g. Mars in house 9.
Lastly, the inner most circle, where you see the blue and red lines, are aspect lines. Aspects are indicators and quick label for planetary interactions.
Then, let's start drawing a chart together.
As far as I know, there are a few methods to draw a chart. What I am trying to explain here is the one way that I use and most likely the common way to draw it. This is my "default" method.
One important thing to know before drawing one is that, we humans treats the 3D space in space (haha) as a 2D canvas when it comes to charts like this. It is also called "birth" chart because it is a snap shot of the sky at the moment of a person's birth, at the place of the birth.
So now when you look at 9 o'clock on the chart, where there is a bold line pointing towards Libra and says "Asc" (ascendant) represents the horizon. It is the sign that "rises" from the east at the time of your birth and hence the name. Dsc, as you may have guessed it, is descendant. You get that by drawing a straight line across the center of the chart. Easy peasy. This line between 9 and 3 o'clock is the ground we stand on. Anything about it are the ones we would see in the sky at the time of birth.
And then we find the MC (Medium Coeli or midheaven). I don't do the maths myself, but I know that is the zenith from the place of your birth. It is the bold vertical line. It may be slanted left or right. E.g. Leo 1°15. Same as the Asc/Dsc relationship, cut through the center from MC, you will find your DC.
Now you have the 2 axes and that gives you the basic frame of a chart. These 4 boundaries are going to the the beginning of house 1, 4, 7, 10.
After the computer placing down the cusps of the rest of the houses and placements of all the planets, we can now look at the circle in the middle.
Let's look at the blue and red lines
They represent "aspects". If the angle between 2 planets is in a list of specifications, then it is said that these two planets' energy interact and they affect each other. So aspect functions as both an indicator (hey, theses two interact) and a descriptor (they may be friends or enemies, even frienemies 🤷‍♀️) for such interaction.
To get the angle, you draw a line from the planet to the center of the chart, do it twice, you get an angle. Major aspects are 0, 30, 60, 90, 120, 180, and they all have their own names. But things rarely align so perfectly so we have some allowance for that, it's what is called "orb". I don't think there is a sacred number for orbs. I personally look at tightly aligned aspect: 3°30
E.g. Mars in Cancer 20°, for an opposite aspect (180°), the other planet will need to be placed in Capricorn 16°30 - 23°30. Otherwise I don't consider that being an aspect.
Again, with Mars in Cancer, for a conjunction aspect (0°), I only consider planets placed from Cancer 16°30 - 23°30.
At the end of this long ass post, let's look at some example descriptions for this chart
Moon Sagittarius in house 2 is opposed to Jupiter Gemini in house 8
Moon opposes Jupiter 2 degree ish
Aries Sun conjuncts Neptune Pisces quite cclosely
Here you go. There isn't any secrets to astrology. Let's learn about it and use it to its fullest and for our best benefit!

My friend's friend lol
Play item: natal chart, Moon Capricorn, Sun Aquarius, Saturn Aquarius, Uranus Capricorn
I am that pest of a friend who goes around to ask for people's natal chart because I want to see new ones lollll So this friend of my friend, was intrigued by all the nonsense I had been gibbering to my friend.
When I opened up her chart I was like "Oh my, you need to sort that out, gurl. Mama is worried about you."
Her Moon was in Capricorn. Alright, probably her mother was a demanding in terms of achievement and rather strict about things. Also didn't communicate affections and emotions verbally. If the love from Cancer was to take care of people, one pincer being a cradle and the other being a pair of food scissors; the love from Capricorn was kick you off the mountain so you can struggle your way back to the top, put you through challenges to toughen you up, because they knew winter was coming and they wanted to make sure your survival. And you should already know the reason behind them kicking you off the cliff. lol
That sounds a little tough but ok, that's not uncommon in Asia. But then I looked at her Sun, sweet gods, it was in 12th house Aquarius??? Not only it first-line anti-authority (Capricorn), it was hidden as well???
This girl later told me, yes her mom had the most say at home. She was the queen and dad was her helper of sorts lolllllll
Ok, if the Sun was in a bit of groove, we must have something that could boost it up! Oh never mind, her Saturn (Aquarius' ex) was in Aquarius and sat next to the Sun in 12th, Uranus went conjunct with Moon 0°02' lolllllll I guess never mind then

My grenade of a friend
Play items: transit-natal aspect, Square(exact), Moon Leo (transit), Mercury + Pluto Scorpio (natal)
Long story long, I was playing with transit-natal charts. So it happens my grenade of a friends want me to look at Moon transit for her.
She is a very Scorpio person, I learn most of my Scorpio knowledge from just being her friend lollll So what I think of Scorpio may be different from another person (shrug)
I am not overly keen on looking at moon transit because it's moving too quick lollll But she wanted me to look at it, alright.
Her natal Mercury conjuncts Pluto 0°05' in Scorpio. Moon Leo went in Square exacting that.
My expectation/prediction was: either some heavy conversation was bound to happen, either some heavy conversation happened before was getting a reboot. For this particular Moon Leo, I thought it wanted to be seen, recognised, admired. Or Leo could be feeling fragile, vulnerable, or low self esteem, so they needed to be admired.
Natal Scorpio saw something but Leo was in denial (no matter Leo really didn't see, or they simply denies it for reasons). Mercury then went into attack mode.
This is when the conflict happened. Because the Leo was attacked, or felt attacked, so it fought back. And of course, as the ex of Mars, Scorpio wasn't going to back down.
I asked her about her observation for the day (I still haven't learned houses yet so I had no idea where this was going to happen), she said she had a big fight with boyfriend because boyfriend denied what she thought about her own family. Usually the boyfriend was there to provide a fresh and rather helpful perspective for things like that but on that particular day he went straight into denial. That set my friend off lol
Then the funny thing was, friend wasn't usually the one to insist in having a fight in situation like this. She's more like the type to be unhappy about things, and then explode at her own pace lol Not one to talk it through peacefully. But on that day she went on to yap about it and boyfriend retreated to "Yea you're right. Yea yea, you're right."
