Sorry for the very long silence.

This is sudden but I will have to put this project blog into hiatus mode. Life keeping me busy, the holy trinity of creativity (time, energy, motivation) barely coming to me and I'm having a hard time maintaining momentum on the current story. It doesn't help that my personal matters always suck away my creative juices.

But worry not, I have NO intention of deleting this blog. I don't want to, even though it's an easy way out for such a small and young side blog as this.

I can't promise but I intend to go back to this project once things get better for me.

Martha pulled out the bed covers and removed the pillowcases. She then removed the mattress to beat off lint and dust from the surface. Next, Martha also cleaned the bedframe and checked for damage.

She flipped the mattress back and put on new covers. The pillows were put in new cases too.

Then, she moved on to the cabinet. Everything inside was brought out. It was a mix of many things– personal supplies, more clothes, sentimental items, trash. She sorted them accordingly, removed the ones needed to be thrown away and set aside the ones in need of further inspection later.

Among the bunch there are several floor mats of different designs.

And so she grabbed for her brushes and put on light coverage on her face. After that, she finished cleaning the vanity table.

Then she moved on to her desk. Martha crossed her arms as she looked at the clutter. She doesn't feel like doing much with it. Not because she's lazy but because the only way for her to clear her desk is to sit down and finish the things she's been putting off for so long.

With that reasoning, she only grabbed the trash and rearranged her things.

Martha separated the ones she plans to sell or give away. The rest goes to trash box.

She moved on next to her vanity table. She inspected which ones have already expired and chucked them to the trash box. To her surprise, she found some items that haven't used. She opened them to see if they are still in good condition. Since she haven't really used them, she wanted to put some on to test their quality.

After some contemplation, she decided to start with the closet first.

Martha took out everything inside and laid them on bed. She quickly removed the ones that don't fit anymore, ones she no longer likes and ones that don't seem to suit her. After cleaning and dusting off the closet, the clothes were rearranged back in again.

The items removed are a mix of clothes, hats, scarves, etc.. Some were her longtime favorites, some were from impulsive buys, some from promo/party giveaways and some from an ex.
