Reasons You Cant Get Pregnant - Plus A Fertility Checklist
Heres a list of the most common reasons women cant get pregnant, plus a fertility checklist. The reasons for not getting pregnant range from azoospermia (no sperm) to irregular periods. These male and female fertility checklists will help you decide if you should see a doctor or infertility specialist.
Think about making lifestyle changes if you cant get pregnant. Couples who have sought specialist help and have been diagnosed with unexplained fertility may find that making certain lifestyle changes can assist in conception, writes Michael Dooley in Fit for Fertility. These fertility checklists might be useful.
Why Cant You Get Pregnant?
The Fit for Fertility Checklist is made up of four individual checklists, for the egg, the sperm, conception, and general male and female fertility problems.
Fertility Checklist #1: The Egg (Female Fertility)
Answer yes or no to the following questions:
1.      Are you having irregular, short (less than 21 days) or long (greater than 34 days) periods?
2.     Do you bleed between your periods?
3.     Are you overweight (with a body mass index greater than 25)?
4.     Are you underweight (with a body mass index under 18.5)?
5.     Do you exercise excessively?
6.     Have you had treatment for cancer?
7.     Are you being treated for depression?
8.    Do you have diabetes?
9.     Have you ever had thyroid problems?
10.Have you stopped having periods?
Fertility Checklist #2: The Sperm (Male Fertility)
Answer yes or no to the following questions:
1.      Have you had an operation on your testicles?
2.     Have you had a hernia repair?
3.     Is there blood in your ejaculate?
4.     Have you had mumps?
5.     Have you had an injury to your testicles?
6.     Do you have any family members with cystic fibrosis?
7.     Have you had a vasectomy?
8.    Are you overweight (with a body mass index greater than 25)?
9.     Are you taking medication for a peptic ulcer?
10.Do you have diabetes?
Fertility Checklist #3: Getting Pregnant
Answer yes or no to the following questions:
1.      Do you have intercourse less than twice a week?
2.     Do you have a problem with intercourse?
3.     Do you have pain with intercourse?
4.     Does your partner have problems with erection?
5.     Does your partner have premature ejaculation?
6.     Have you had pelvic inflammatory disease?
7.     Have you had an operation on your abdomen (eg, a burst appendix)?
8.    Do you have discharge?
9.     Have you had an ectopic pregnancy?
Make sure you have intercourse at the right time (when youre ovulating)!
Fertility Checklist #4: Male and Female Fertility Problems
Answer yes or no to the following questions:
Do you have a good, healthy diet?
Do you smoke or drink excessive amounts of alcohol?
Have you been exposed to environmental hazards?
Have you tried to conceive before without success?
Are you under significant stress?
Do you spend a lot of time apart?
Do you drink excessive amounts of caffeine?
Do you take regular medications?
Do you use recreational drugs?
Do you have a history of a genetic problem?
If you answered yes to one or more of these questions, you need to consult to a doctor about why you cant get pregnant.  Make an appointment with your family physician doctor, and consider talking to our fertility specialist.

How to Understand the Results of Your Semen Analysis
Heres how to read and understand your semen analysis, plus a description of what a normal sperm looks like. Sluggish sperm, diminished sperm motility, and normal forward sperm progression are some of the terms youll see on your semen analysis results.
The semen analysis measures a number of parameters that effect the chances of the sperm reaching the egg. Some of the parameters are indicators of sperm production and health and others relate the the quality of the semen and its ability to help sperm along the journey to the egg.
Since male infertility accounts for about 33% of not getting pregnant for couples, its important to get a semen analysis done if you cant get pregnant. A mans sperm count, motility, or production is very important to pregnancy. Heres a description of the three parts of a sperm, plus information on what sperm test results mean
What is a Sperm Made of?
Though sperm are teeny tiny, laboratory technicians can see their details under a microscope (which is what will happen during a semen analysis or sperm test).
The head of a sperm contains all the genetic material, so a sperm with an abnormal head cant fertilize an egg.
The midpiece of a sperm contains fructose, which is the energy it needs to move rapidly.
The tail of a sperm is necessary for propulsion. Sperm with no tail, two tails, or coiled tails are abnormal, and wont help with getting pregnant.
What Does Your Semen Analysis Mean?
Okay, youve received the results of your sperm testand you have no idea what sperm volume, concentration, motility, or morphology really means! Have no fear: the following parameters are from the World Health Organization (WHO) a reliable source of medical information.
Normal sperm volume (amount) is 1.5 to 5 ml, or about a teaspoon.
Normal sperm concentration should be greater than 20 million sperm/ml, or a total of greater than 40 million per ejaculate.
Normal sperm motility means that more than 40% of the sperm should be moving (swim forward, mates!).
Normal sperm morphology means that more than about 30% of sperm should be normally shaped, as determined by the lab technician. If the lab uses the more strict Kruger criteria, normal sperm morphology should be 14%.
Normal sperm forward progression is at least 2, on a scale of 1 to 4 (this part of the sperm test measures how many sperm are moving forward).
Sperm white blood cells should be no more than 0 to 5 per high-power field. More could indicate infection.
Sperm hyperviscosity means that the semen should gel promptly, but should liquefy within 30 minutes after the sample is taken.
Sperm Ph should be alkaline, to protect sperm from the acidic environment of the womans va-jay-jay.
# Below are the most common diagnosiss made from the semen analysis.
Asthenospermia swimmers dont swim: Asthenospermia occurs when the testicle is making sperm but they are not swimming. Major causes of reduced motility include:varicocele , poor diet, heat exposure , obesity and toxin exposure.
Azoospermia Zero sperm: Azoospermia is broken down into two camps. Obstructive, which means that there is something blocking the path and trapping sperm inside the testicle. An non-obstructive, which means that the body isnt producing sperm to begin with. The treatment options, as you can imagine are quite different. To figure out whats going on, a male fertility specialist may perform a physical exam, ultrasounds, blood work and perhaps a few other test to perform the exact cause. Often, due to remarkable advances in technology and medical science, there are options to enable azoospermic men to successfully father children.
Oligospermia Low Sperm Count: Oligospermia means that there is a low sperm concentration in the ejaculate. Generally, this means that something is impairing the testicles ability to produce sperm. Learn more about low sperm count.
Hypospermia (semen volume under 2mL) and Aspermia (no semen): Usually indicate some sort of plumbing problem; a complete or partial blockage or a condition called retrograde ejeculation. Depending on the underlying cause there are prescription medications or surgical procedures that can help treat the issue. For more severe cases where treatment is unavailable or ineffective, a specialist can retrieve sperm from the testicle for artificial insemination or IVF.
Teratospermia Abnormal morphology:Abnormal morphology means that something is interfering the the sperm maturation process that causes a high number of them to develop abnormally. Abnormal sperm can have heads that are too big or too small, two heads or two tails or they can be missing key proteins that enable them to accomplish their mission.
Your sperm will vary
And, if youve done a sperm test (or are preparing to do a sperm test), remember that semen samples can vary from month to month or even day to day. It takes 72 days for sperm to develop.
How does this affect the semen analysis or sperm test results? If you were ill, taking medication, or had anything unusual going on three months before the sperm test, then the results may not be indicative of normal sperm count, motility, or production.

# Ayurveda says –
Vyayama nityo jeernaashee yavagodhuma bhojanaha | Santarpana Krutaihi Doshaihi Sthoulyam muktwa vimuchyate ||
Daily regular exercise, eating only after the previous food has got completely digested, and regular intake of Barley and wheat in diet, are sure shot ways to curb obesity.
Ayurveda adopts a comprehensive approach to treat obesity. Ayurveda explains about a a combination of Panchakarma treatment, few simple Ayurvedic medicines, home remedies, and very easy to follow lifestyle adjustments to lose weight quickly.
# Cause for build up of fat in the body are – Avyayama (lack of exercise), Divasvapna (sleeping at day time), Shleshmala Ahara Sevana – intake of foods which increase Kapha Dosha
Due to above factors the annarasa (the end product of digestion) becomes sweet by not getting properly digested and there by results in accumulation of sneha (oiliness) and fat.
#So, Ayurveda explains the pathology of obesity as –
1. Increase of Agni – digestion strength, leading to increase of appetite and food intake. 2. Hampered conversion of Medo dhatu to Asthi dhatu, leading to increased production of Medo Dhatu. 3. Imbalance / VItiation of Vata Dosha – leading to increased digestion strength 4. Increase of Kapha Dosha, which is caused by excess sweets, fried food, excess rest etc.
A person who due to excessive accumulation of muscles and fat in the body presents with sagging butts, abdomen and breasts, the muscles and fat tissue are nourished and formed normally (they are abnormally deposited) and the energy levels also are not normal (below normal) is called ati sthula or obese.
#Clinical features of obesity:
Kshudra shwasa (gasping for air), Trusha – excessive thirst, Moha – delusion, inprecisive work, Svapna Krathana – snoring Saada – exhausion. Kshut – excess hunger, Sveda – excess perspiration, Durgandha – foul body odor, Alpa pran – short breaths Alpa maithuna- less sexual strength occur due to depletion of Shukra dhatu.
#Reason for fat deposition around abdomen area:
In human beings, fat gets accumulated in abdominal region. The root for medovaha srotas – fat channels are – Vrukka (kidney) and Vapvahana (greater omentum) as per the statement of Charaka
That probably is the cause for the pendulant abdomen in sthoulya people.
Ayurveda Tips To Lose Weight Fast :
#Hydrate with warm water: 75% of over weight persons are chronically dehydrated. According to Ayurveda, warm water is a natural detoxifier. Warm water mops up impurities as it travels through over-taxed digestive system, sweeping away molecules left behind from partially digested food that could be slowing down what nature intended to be an enviably swift metabolic rate. Replacing sugary beverages like soda and fruit juices with clear warm water automatically reduces number of calories per day.
Cold drinks cause the muscles and blood vessels in gastrointestinal tract to freeze and in turn vitiate digestive fire, which leads sluggish digestion. Warm water, on the other hand, relaxes the muscles and dilates the blood vessels. Dilation of blood vessels allows the assimilation and absorption of the contents of the meal to occur more efficiently. Sipping water during meal is ideal. It helps digestion, absorption and dhatu building. The rule of thumb is drink ¼ of capacity of the stomach while eating. Drinking water before meal will dilute agni, which will hinder digestion and lead to weakness. Drinking water right after meal will increase Kapha, causing weight gain. Ideal time to drink water is right after waking up in the morning and one hour before and one hour after each meal. The quantity of water consumption varies with body type; Vata needs more water than Kapha type. Drink a cup of hot water with a teaspoon honey and 10 drops of lime juice added whenever feel hungry will be a good substitute for eating and will help to melt the fat.
#Mindful eating: A study in the British Medical Journal has discovered that people who eat quickly are three times more likely to be overweight than those who take their time. While eating zoning out, watching TV, talking, driving, and multi-tasking undermine the digestive process and counteract the effort to lose weight. Mindful eating means it is about being conscious and present while eating. When food is eaten mindfully, the brain sees, tastes, smell and feels and sends signals to the stomach to release enzymes and juices to digest the food. According to Ayurveda, you are not what you eat but what you digest. The first stage of digestion starts in the mouth with Bodhaka Kapha. The moment that any kind of food or substance comes in contact with saliva (Bodhaka Kapha), the first experience is taste. Ayurveda says that taste has direct actions on doshas, so the moment you start eating food the process of digestion begins. The digestive process is governed by agni and certain subtypes of each three doshas. Usually six or more hours are required for the digestion of a meal.
# In order to lose weight and reach optimal level of agni it is important to avoid the following: 1.Avoid overeating and/or eating heavy foods in large quantities 2. Avoid tamasic foods: Leftovers, processed, canned foods, fast food or food with additives and colorings 3. Avoid ice cold water and drinks and cold foods 4. Quit drinking alcohol and smoking 5. Avoid cruciferous vegetables, fried foods and heavy foods 6. Do not talk or laugh while eating. Do not eat on the run or while watching TV
# In order to be healthy and increase the digestive power (agni) while losing weight, the following steps should be followed: Eat according to your body constitution –
#Vata: Vata reducing herbs, diet and lifestyle, complex carbohydrates (whole grains and starchy vegetables), avoidance of refined sugar, fewer hot spices and more sweet digestives like cardamom, coriander, brahmi, jatamanshi, and ashwagandha calm the mind. Guggul helps cleanse and warm the body.
#Pitta: Pitta reducing foods, avoiding meat, fish oily, greasy, or fried foods, sugars, and desserts. Raw salads, green herbs, and chlorophyll, digestive bitters and bitter laxatives are the best foods to reduce weight and counter sugar addiction. Herbs include aloe vera gel, katuka, and turmeric.
#Kapha: Kapha reducing food, avoiding refined sugars, salt, dairy, sweet fruit, bread, pastry, meat, fish, fruit juices, cold liquids, and oils. Spice teas, vegetable juices, steamed vegetables, beans, and whole grains are good. Suggestion includes less sleep, no naps, and strong, aerobic exercise. Hot digestive herbs like black pepper, ginger, turmeric, and trikatu burn up the fat and raise the digestive fire. Bitter herbs, like katuka, triphala and guggul, reduce fat and dry water.
#Moreweightlosstips: ? Eat fresh and seasonal vegetables and fruit. ? Eat freshly cooked warm food. It will strengthens agni, digests food better, reduces excess Kapha and Vata ? Eat food, which has enough oil, and is moist enough (not fried). It tastes better, helps agni, builds dhatus, and increases strength. ? Do not eat food with wrong combination. E.g. Honey and ghee when combined in equal quantities is poisonous. Mixing sour fruits and milk curdles the milk. ? Eat only when you are hungry ? Eat three meals a day and avoid snacking ? Eat light meals for breakfast and dinner and heavy meal during lunch time, have early dinner between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ? Eat after previous food is digested ? Eat with proper frame of mind – create pleasant environment ? Eating sequence: First eat carbohydrates or sweet taste, next eat salty, sour, pungent and bitter foods. Finally eat astringent food.
#Breathing and Pranayama: Due to fast passed life style many of us do shallow breathing. Practicing diaphragmatic breathing is beneficial. By simply observing the breath, we can be aware of what is happening inside. The more we become aware of breath, the disturbance, the negativity of the mind disappears and it becomes pure and peaceful. Bhasrika is a very powerful Pranayama. It strengthens the heart and lungs, improves the digestion and calms the mind. Right Nostril breathing (surya bhedi) will also be helpful.
#Yoga: Certain gentle yoga asanas are helpful, including the Palm Tree pose, and the Triangle Pose. Also, while sitting on the floor, bend forward as far as you can, with the goal of eventually touching the head to the knees. The Fish, Camel, Cobra and Cow poses are simple, helpful postures. 10 minutes of Sun Salutations every morning is helpful. The “sun salute” is a complete Ayurvedic exercise, also known as Surya Namaskara. This series of postures simultaneously integrates the whole physiology including mind, body, and breath. It strengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups, lubricates the joints, conditions the spine, and massages the internal organs. Blood flow and circulation is increased throughout the body.
#Herbal Cure : The following herbal formula will help lose weight.

Performance Anxiety: Treat It With #AYURVEDA ( #Natural Cure )
Sex is supposed to be enjoyable, but it's tough to have fun if you're constantly worrying about how well you're doing. If you want to put the sparkle back in your love life, learn why sexual performance anxiety might be happening to you and get some tips to put yourself at ease.
#Causes of #Sexual #Performance #Anxiety :
Sex is more than just a physical response. Your emotions have something to do with it, too. When your mind is too stressed out to focus on sex, your body can't get excited either.
#Lots of different worries can lead to the problem:
#Fear that you won't perform well in bed and satisfy your partner sexually #Poor body image, including concern over your weight #Problems in your relationship #Worry that your penis won't "measure up" #Concern about ejaculating too early or taking too long to reach orgasm #Anxiety about not being able to have an orgasm or enjoy the sexual experience
These things may lead your body to release stress hormones like epinephrine and norepinephrine.
#Symptoms : Your state of mind can have a big impact on your ability to get aroused. Even if you're with someone who you find sexually appealing, worrying about whether you'll be able to please your partner can make it impossible for you to do just that.
One of the effects of the stress #hormones is to narrow blood vessels. When less blood flows into your #penis, it's more difficult to have an erection. Even guys who normally don't have any trouble getting excited might not be able to get an erection when they're overcome by sexual performance anxiety.
Sexual performance anxiety isn't diagnosed as often in women as it is in men, but it can affect arousal in women, too. Anxiety can prevent women from getting lubricated enough to have sex, and it can take away the physical desire to make love.
Anxiety can take you out of the right mind-set for sex. When you're focused on whether you'll perform well, you can't concentrate on what you're doing in bed. Even if you are able to get aroused, you may be too distracted to reach #orgasm.
Sexual performance anxiety leads to a cycle of troubles. You might become so anxious about #sex that you can't perform, which leads to even more sexual performance anxiety.
#Overcoming Sexual Performance Anxiety : If you've got sexual performance anxiety, see a doctor -- someone you're comfortable enough with to discuss your sex life. The doctor will examine you and do some tests to make sure a health condition or medication isn't the cause of your problems.
During the exam your doctor will ask about your sexual history to find out how long you've had sexual performance anxiety and what kinds of thoughts are interfering with your sex life.
#Medications and other #therapies can help treat #erectile #dysfunction and other sexual problems that have physical causes. If a medical issue isn't to blame, your doctor might suggest you try one of these approaches:
#Talk to a therapist. Make an appointment with a counselor or therapist who has experience in treating sexual problems. Therapy can help you understand and then reduce or get rid of the issues that are causing your sexual performance anxiety. If you worry about premature ejaculation, for example, you can try some techniques that help you gain more control.
#Be open with your #partner. Talking with your partner about your anxiety can help ease some of your worries. When you try to reach a solution together, you may draw closer as a couple and improve your sexual #relationship.
Get intimate in other ways. Learn how to be intimate without sexual intercourse. Give your partner a #sensual #massage or take a warm bath together.
#Exercise . Not only does working out make you feel better about your body, it also improves your #stamina in bed.
#Distract yourself. Put on some romantic music or a sexy movie while you make love. Think about something that turns you on. Taking your mind off your sexual performance can remove the worries that stop you from getting #excited.
Finally, take it easy on yourself. Don't beat yourself up about your appearance or ability in bed. Get help for sexual performance anxiety so you can get back to having a healthy and enjoyable sex life.

SIDE EFFECTS OF BIRTH-CONTROL PILLS IN PCOD
Most of PCOD patients take Oral contraceptive pills or birth control pills. Even, there are lots and lots of side effects of oral contraceptives which can make anyone think again before using them. In most of PCOD-help forums, women often complain that oral contraceptives make things worse for them. Weight-gain, depression and insulin resistance are common. Here we will discuss the SIDE EFFECTS OF BIRTH-CONTROL PILSS IN PCOD/PCOS and also how to recover from these side effects
Why Do Birth Control Pills Cause Side Effects?
Birth control pills raise the levels of estrogen in a woman to unnatural levels. This creates a hormonal imbalance in your body. Remember the pill is taken throughout the month. So when you continuously raise estrogen levels over an extended period of time, it is bound to have side effects that are neither pleasant nor desirable.
Short-Term Side Effects Of Birth Control Pills
Nausea :
This is one of the first side effects of birth control pills. You can continue feeling queasy for around three months, after which it may subside. Taking birth control pills on an empty stomach can make this worse. Most doctors ask women to take the pill after a meal.
Mood Changes :
Many women become depressed on the pill. Oral contraceptive pills increase the levels of estrogen in the body. Estrogen helps in cell growth. While this helps with cell growth in the uterus, it has another, unintended effect. It also thickens of a part of the brain that is responsible for the “reward response.” This is an extremely important response linked to our mood. The expectation of a “reward,” however small it might be, keeps us going. It is what keeps us curious and happy. If this part of the brain is disturbed, it can affect mood and lead to depression
Soreness In Breasts :
This is a real downside of the pill and effects can persist for a long time. Breasts can swell up and become so tender & painful that even a soft touch hurts. Dropping your salt and caffeine intake and wearing a soft, supportive bra can help reduce this side effect of birth control pills.
Spotting Between Two Periods :
More than 50% women who are taking these pills, experiences vaginal bleeding between two menstrual periods. This usually begins within three months of starting the pill and resolves within another three months. Contact your doctor if this persists for longer.
Headaches :
Headaches usually start within a month of starting Birth Control Pills. They can resolve within a few weeks once the body gets used to the pill. The severity of headaches is dependent upon the ratio of hormones used in the pills.
Missed Periods :
Birth control pills can make you skip a period. This can happen especially if you’re also ill or stressed or have thyroid issues at the time you start the pill.
Abnormal Discharge :
While some women have more wet discharge, other may feel dry. The nature of the lubrication may also change from what you normally experience. If your discharge is abnormal or has a foul smell, contact your doctor.
Weight Changes :
Most ladies complain of weight gain as a side effect of oral contraceptive pills. This can be due to fluid retention in the breasts and hip areas. High levels of estrogen also can change the distribution and size of the fat cells. Also, remember: Insulin, which almost directly controls weight gain and loss, is also a hormone. Hormones like estrogen and progesterone are all intricately connected to hormones like insulin and leptin. When you influence one through a hormone pill, you can also influence the other.
Lowered Sexual Desire :
This can be a real dampener. While this may not be a direct result of hormonal changes, which woman feels ready for sex when her breasts hurt and she has a bad tummy? This problem usually gets resolved when other symptoms subside.
Changes In Shape Of Cornea :
Hormonal changes can cause fluid retention. Fluid can fill up in the eyeball causing the cornea to change shape. Due to this swelling, your contact lens won’t fit as comfortably as before. You may want to start wearing glasses.
Bloating :
Blame fluid retention again. Women who already suffer from digestive issues may experience this more. Birth control pills also affect your gut bacteria. If the number of gas-producing bacteria increase, you feel bloated.
Skin Problems :
Birth control pills often clear up skin since they help balance out excess male hormones that can cause acne. At the same time, in some women, they make acne worse. They can also cause blemishes, brown pigmentation on the skin, especially on the face.
Skin Irritation, Redness And Swelling :
Women using contraceptive patches feel this. You could be allergic to the contents of the patch.
Irritation And Discomfort In The Vagina :
If you use a vaginal ring, you may experience these symptoms as a side effect of birth control pills. If the symptoms are bad, you may shift to either a patch or a pill.
Blood Clots In The Legs Or Lungs :
This is a rare, yet serious side effect of birth control pills. If not addressed on time, it can become a medical emergency.
Long Term Side Effects Of Oral Contraceptive Pills
There is increasing evidence that using oral contraceptives for PCOS might not be a good idea. While they do help reduce excess male hormones fast, the positive effects being to wear out in six months or so of starting. What’s more, some studies have found that long term use of oral contraceptives can actually worsen the PCOS. Here are the long term side effects of birth control pills.
Diabetes :
There have been cases where non-diabetic women developed diabetes through long term use of oral contraceptives.
Oxidative Stress :
A study found that women who take pills for a long term have “oxidative stress.” This means that their body is not able to get rid of waste efficiently. This leads to damage to cells and more rapid aging. This also increases the risk of heart diseases in the women. The study further advised women to take vitamins C and E along with their BCPs to reduce this side effect.
Weight Gain :
Long-term use of contraceptive pills was found to increase weight significantly in PCOS women.
Risk Of Cancer :
Oral contraceptives increase the risk of liver and breast cancer.
Gallstones :
If you have gallstones, contraceptives will make these stones bigger much faster.
Yeast Infections :
The estrogen in the oral contraceptives can reduce the helpful bacteria in the digestive tract. This, in turn, can cause an overgrowth of a yeast called candida infection. Women with a candida infection crave sugar, which can lead to binge eating and weight gain.
Deep Vein Thrombosis :
Long term use of oral contraceptives doubles the risk of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), stroke and heart disease. Women with PCOS are already at high risk of these conditions. Birth control pills make the condition worse.
Nutrient Depletion :
Birth control pills deplete women of vital nutrients. You could be working hard to get these by eating healthy and organic, but the pills don’t let them stick to your body. Folic acid, B vitamins, vitamins C & E, zinc and magnesium are some of the nutrients lost. Serious health complications like weight gain, mood changes, fluid retention, depression and heart disease can be caused as you have low levels of these vital nutrients.
Shrinking Of Pituitary Gland :
Studies also show that long term use of birth control pills leads to shrinking of the pituitary gland, a master hormone-producing gland in the brain.
Then, What To Do?
While birth control pills are the most widely prescribed drugs for women with PCOS, their potential risks seem to outweigh the benefits. PCOS is now being widely acknowledged as a lifestyle issue that needs a lifestyle solution. Just because birth control pills seem to make you have a normal period, it does not mean your problem is really solved. PCOS goes beyond just the ovaries and the irregularities of the menstrual cycle. It is a whole-body, multi-system disorder. AYURVEDA TO CURE DENGUE FEVER :)
Natural Herbs has proved its efficacy in treating such deadly diseases like DENGUE successfully without any side effects. Lets create awareness and spread world wide this piece of knowledge, so that it may help to save a life.
Dengue Fever :-
Ayurvedic Name: Dandak Jwara
Other Names: Dandy fever, Three-day fever, Breakbone fever.
What's is a Dengue Fever?
Dengue fever is a disease caused by one of a number of viruses. These viruses are spread by the bite of mosquitoes and are transmitted to the human body. The disease is very common in tropical and subtropical areas of the world (including some islands in the Caribbean, Mexico, most countries of South and Central America, the Pacific, Asia and parts of tropical Africa). In these locations, the dengue fever arbovirus is endemic, meaning that the dengue fever virus naturally and consistently lives in that location and the virus are not carried by mosquitoes.
Who gets Dengue Fever?
Dengue fever can occur to people of all ages. Children usually have a milder disease than adults.
What's are the causes of Dengue Fever ?
When a mosquito carrying dengue fever virus bites a healthy human, the virus travels in the blood stream and then starts multiplying itself in the whole body. Dengue fever is not contagious, which means one person cannot pass it directly to another.
Dengue fever is also a type of arbovirus, which is short for arthropod-borne virus. The main virus causing dengue fever is carried by a mosquito named "Aedes aegypti" which transmits the virus to humans through its bite. An organism that carries a disease, without actually developing the disease itself, is called a vector. Aedes aegypti works as a vector for transmitting the disease.
An another cause for dengue fever is a virus name flaviviruses. More than 100 million cases of dengue fever occur every year in a whole world. A little bit percent of these develop into dengue hemorrhagic fever. It is possible for a traveler who has returned to the United States to pass the infection to someone who has not traveled. Risk factors for dengue hemorrhagic fever include having antibodies to dengue virus from prior infection and being younger than 12, female, or Caucasian.
What's are the symptoms of Dengue Fever?
The symptoms of dengue fever are generally seen in around three days after transition of virus to humans through mosquitoes bite and after that patient starts feeling very weak. Dengue fever, however, is not a fatal disease.
Dengue fever may vary on an individual basis for each patient. One should always remember before looking for treatment that over-medication in dengue fever is likely to lead to further complications and some times it may also turn slight serious. A mild attack of the fever may pass off without having to administer any medicine.
Some of the main symptoms of dengue fever are listed below:
Dengue fever usually starts suddenly with a rapidly climbing high fever, that's why the temperature in dengue fever is called a 'saddleback' type temperature. severe headaches. Retro-orbital pain behind the eye. nausea & vomiting. loss of appetite. rashes develop on the feet or legs 3 to 4 days after the beginning of the fever. Swelling and pain in muscles and joints. The joint pain in the body has given dengue fever the name that is "breakbone fever".The common symptoms of dengue fever may go in around 10 days, but complete recovery from dengue fever can take more than a month.
Herbal Treatments for Dengue Fever
There is no specific treatment for the treatment of classical dengue fever, and like most people you will also recover completely within 2 weeks with only natural herbs.
For severe dengue symptoms, including shock and coma, early and aggressive emergency treatment with fluid and electrolyte replacement can be lifesaving.
Some treatment options that may enhance the curing of classical dengue fever are listed:
1)Papaya (Carica Papaya) Juice is the most effective cure for dengue fever. Papaya leaf juice plays a vital role in the restoration of platelets. Carica Papaya juice is a tonic for heart and also used for the treatment of fever, pyrexia, syphilis, diabetes, gonorrhoea, and also for dressing foul wounds.
2) Mix 360 mg of Shunthi Churna with 125 mg of Hinguleshwar and now take this mixture at least 4 times daily, you may take with tea or hot water. If case the temperature of the patient rises beyond 104°F (40°C), then you may apply cold pad, on the forehead till the temperature subsides.
3) Another strong antiviral herb is Ocimum sanctum (holy tulsi), you can directly consume 10-15 leaves of Ocimum sanctum 3-4 times daily, or you can prepare basil tea by boiling 15-20 leaves of basil along with 4-5 black pepper and 50 gm. of Fenugreek.
4) Giloy or Amrita is an anti-inflammatory (that reduces inflammation) and antipyretic (that reduce fever) herb.his wonderful Ayurvedic herb helps in raising the efficiency of protective WBC (white blood cells) and builds up the body's own protection mechanism known as immune system. It is used as an immunity booster in certain ailments like jaundice, hepatic fibrosis and seasonal fevers. Giloy or Amrita has proved very effective in preventing fibrous changes and promoting regeneration of the liver. It is a very good and helpful diuretic agent that helps removing renal stones and reducing urea from the blood. Giloy has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, and anti-allergic actions.
Pure extract derived from the dried herb is called the ‘Guduchi Ghana Satva' or Giloy Satva. It is a very fine powder that carries great abilities of the herb Guduchi. The positive thing about Guduchi Satva is that even in minor doses, it works miraculously.
5) The best remedy is to take white inner bark of Neem (Neem antarchaal), Rasont (Daruhaldi) and Satva Giloy, all in equal quantity, ½ tsp with warm water. This protects from all types of infectious fevers.
6) Juice of 1ft. long branch of Giloy and seven leaves of Tulsi; boiled and taken as a herbal drink enhances body’s resistance level up to three times. It also increases platelets count, which decreases considerably in Dengue fever.

DIET PLAN TO CURE CANCER NATURALLY WITH AYURVEDA
Any disease can be successfully treated or managed if its root cause is known and targeted effectively.
Ayurveda, one of the major traditional forms of medical practice in India, has produced many useful leads in developing medications for chronic diseases.
Ayurveda is an intricate system of healing that originated in India thousands of years ago. Historical evidence of Ayurveda can be found in the ancient books of wisdom known as the Vedas that were written over 6000 years ago. Ayurveda provides novel approaches to cancer prevention that are considered safe.
Classical Ayurvedic texts have several references to cancer. Some terms used to describe the condition are general while others are much more specific.
Charaka and Sushruta Samhita (700 BC) both described the equivalent of cancer as granthi (benign or minor neoplasm) and arbuda (malignant or major neoplasm). Both can be inflammatory or non-inflammatory, based on the doshas (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) involved. The term dosha describes the three principles that govern the psychophysiological response and pathological changes in the body. Ayurveda described health as the balanced coordination of these three systems in body, mind and consciousness. The fundamental theory of Ayurvedic treatment is based on restoration of the balance between these three major bodily systems.
Tridoshic tumours are usually malignant because all three major body humors lose mutual coordination, resulting in a morbid condition.
Arbuda is the most specific term for a cancerous malignancy. Gulma is one another reference used to describe any palpable hard mass in the abdomen. It is any hard, tumor like mass in the abdominal region, which could be benign or malignant.
Ayurvedic classification of neoplasms depends upon various clinical symptoms in relation to tridoshas.
Group I: Diseases that can be named as clear malignancies, including arbuda and granthi, such as mamsarbuda (sarcomas) and raktarbuda (leukaemia), mukharbuda (oral cancer), and asadhya vrana (incurable or malignant ulcers).
Group II: Diseases that can be considered as cancer or probable malignancies, such as ulcers and growths. Examples of these are mamsaja oshtharoga (growth of lips), asadhya galganda (incurable thyroid tumour), tridosaja gulmas, asadhya udara roga, (abdominal tumours like carcinomas of the stomach and liver or lymphomas).
Group III: Diseases with the possibility of malignancy, such as visarpa (erysipelas), asadhya kamala (incurable jaundice), asadhya pradara (intractable dysmenorrhea or leukorrhea) and tridosaja nadi vrana (intractable sinusitis).
At CHARAKA, we are providing effective treatment for cancer, focusing on the principle of detoxification, rejuvenation. Our treatment involves:
Shamana chikitsa (treatment using Ayurvedic medicines orally)
Shodhana chikitsa (detoxification through Panchakarma therapy)
Rasayana chikitsa (immunotherapy, rejuvenation or Kayakalpa)
Diet & life style management
Satvavajaya (couselling)
Daiva vyapashraya chikitsa (divine therapy), Yoga & Pranayama are also suggested as per the need and condition of the patient.
Our cancer therapies are based on the philosophy of Removal the cancerous cells when possible and destroy any cells that remain.
Our Ayurvedic treatments can be safely combined with chemotherapy and radiotherapy procedures to minimize the side effects. Even in surgical treatment, this treatment can be started immediately to prevent metastasis and further healing.
Early detection, early medical or surgical interventions are believed to be the key factors in combating cancer effectively. Similarly early stage Ayurvedic treatment as a co-therapy yields best possible results.
#How can Ayurveda treatment help to combat Cancer?
It is now established that "reverse" signalling from dysfunctional or abnormal Mitochondria play important role in the initiation and progress of Cancer cells and conversely it is also proven that Healthy Mitochondria can suppress the growth of cancer cells and make them more susceptible to the treatment. So any drug or treatment which can improve Mitochondrial function can modify the course of the disease and arrest its growth. In this article, we have seen that Mitochondria and Agni are the same organelles and in Ayurveda, for cancer following treatment is provided
1) To remove the free radicals, toxins, excess amount of dirty Pitta, Kafa and Vata which are known to impair the functions of Agni
2) To restore and strengthen the metabolic functioning of Agni due to which further chain of events are curtailed and disease process comes under control.
3) To change the cellular environment, which breaks down or absorb the Lactic acid which is produced by cancerous cells. By this, Cancer cells lose their ability to spread and metastasize
4) To improve the Immunity which then destroys Cancerous cells.
5) There are certain herbs, like Neem which stimulates tumour suppressor pathways and compel the body to produce more tumour's death promoting ( Apoptosis) chemicals and reduce anti-apoptotic chemicals; all of these modalities lead to the death of cancerous cells and are removed from the system.
6) There are certain herbs like Tinospora which are known to arrest abnormal cell cycle, without affecting the normal cell cycle. This mode of action further reduces the uncontrolled growth of abnormal cells.
7) Some herbs like Ashwagandha reduces budding of newer blood vessels in cancerous tissues, thereby cuts off the nourishment of cancerous tissues.
8) Some herbs like Turmeric acts blocks the effect of chemicals ( like TNF alfa) which are responsible for inflammation and Turmeric also blocks the effect of the growth factor called NF kappa -b, thereby uncontrolled multiplication is arrested.
9) Turmeric and Ashwagandha also stimulate p53 tumour suppressor pathway.
10) Some household herb like Fenugreek absorbs lactic acid and stops glucose supply to cancer cells hence they are deprived of their food and die.
What diet is recommended to a patient suffering from Cancer?
The best diet is to follow intermittent fasting or calorie restricted diet which is sufficient enough to provide all required nutrients to the body and immunity but at the same time, deprives cancer cells of their food and compel them to die. General guidelines are as follows
1) Strictly avoid all Maida and bakery products
2) No Sabudana, No vinegar, no Tobacco, No Liquor.
3) Avoid deep fried food
4) Avoid late night dinner ( dinner should be over by 7 pm)
5) No raw food or salad, especially when on chemotherapy
6) Minimum intake of Sugar with one or two days of " NO sugar" per week in any form (Which means no White/ brown sugar, No Jaggery, No honey, No fruit juices, no Carrot or beetroot juice)
7) Once a week fasting as per the advice of expert Vaidya.
Frequently asked queries?
1) Are there any steroids in the Herbal medicines - No, we do not do such kind of unscrupulous or non-ethical practice. My drugs can be tested and subjected to any kind of test for that matter.
2) Are these drugs safe during Chemotherapy- There are certain reports, published in good journals, which has proven the good effect of chemotherapy when combined with herbal treatment. ( Care to be taken that herbal treatment should be of standardized quality and should not be given on the day of injectable chemotherapy, rest it can be given. It also depends on stage and type of cancer, so final decision to be taken only after discussing every pros and cons). There are various clinical studies indicating that if standardized herbal preparations of Curcumin, Ashwagandha are given along with chemotherapy, results are better. Many chemoresistant cancers respond very well when supplemented with Curcumin, Ashwagandha and Tinospora cordifolia.
3) Can herbal therapy replace or avoid chemotherapy- No, one should follow complete modern protocol as it is. Herbal treatment is mainly given to as chemo adjuvant to improve the immunity and mitochondrial function as stated above.
4) Can Ayurveda treatment avoid surgery and radiation- All of you will be surprised to read the fact that, in Ayurveda, which was written 3000 years B.C., it is clearly mentioned that first line of treatment of Cancer is to surgically remove it and then to " Burn" the margins, this concept is similar to today's modern protocol of Surgery followed by Radiation. So any tumour, if operable, should be removed promptly by an expert Onco-Surgeon.
5) What is Chemoprevention? This term was coined by Dr Michel Sporm, in 1976. Chemopreventive are drugs, natural or Synthetic, which have potential to Reverse, Suppress and or Prevent the further growth of cancer. I advise various such Chemopreventive herbs and ways to many normal people and also to cancer patients.
