Het Bureacratische Biechthokje
In de Middeleeuwen was de Kerk de ruggegraat van de maatschappij. Tegenwoordig is die rol overgenomen door de Staat. Nu, in plaats van tegenover de kerk, verantwoord je nu je gedrag aan de Regering in de vorm van Wetten. Hoe zou het voelen om deze twee contrasterende instituten samen te voegen? Dus een spiritueel iets, heel erg zakelijks en formeel te maken.
Daarnaast, je zonden, je meest negatieve kant, hoe zou het voelen om die informatie niet meer aan een persoon toe te vertrouwen, maar aan een landelijke organisatie?
Je kon je eigen zonden opbiechten door ons biecht formulier op de Nacht van Kunst en Wetenschap op 24 mei, 2014 in Groningen

The Bureaucratic Confession booth
In the Middle Ages, the church was the major backbone of society. Nowadays, this role has been taken over by the government. Instead of justifying your behaviour towards the church, you now have to confess your crimes towards the state. So how would it feel if you would mix up two contrasting intituions? Something very spiritual and make it business like and formal.
Next to that, confessing your sins to a person takes a lot of trust, but do we still have this same trust in a faceles nationwide organization?
You were able to confess your own sins through our form at the Night of Art and Science on May 24th, 2014 in Groningen.

Me and 4 other schoolmates created a 50 page interpretation, based on the Kamasutra. Our interpretation of how the Kamasutra applies in modern day life is the imaginary difference between love and sex and everything that is a mixture. Our book does not have a start or a finish, as you can read the book from both sides.
All illustrations in the book are a silkscreenprint or linoleum. These are my contributions for in the book.

Met een groep van 5 hebben we een interpretatie op de Kamasutra gemaakt. Wij geloven dat de hedendaagse `kamasutra` leer terug komt in een bedachte scheiding tussen liefde en sex. Dit boek van 50 illustraties, heeft geen voorkant of achterkant en loopt over van de platonische liefde voor schoenen naar pure sexuele uitspattingen visa versa.
