the future of letsimagineitall

okay. most of you won’t care, but i’ve been thinking about this for awhile. recently, i’ve been having crazy out of my mind anxiety about everything but a lot about this blog specifically. 

i’ve decided a few things

i’m going to delete this blog and all that entails. i have backups of all my writing for myself.

i’m going to create a new tumblr account for my writing. i’m sure you’ll find where ever i end up if you really want to by seeing me in tags. i won’t be posting my new URL here. this blog will only exist for a short time longer.

on the new blog, i’m going to be far more vigilant about people who follow me. it will be an account that is 18+ only and NSFW majority of the time. probably. i still write fluff and that’ll be there too.

from the new blog, i will actually be able to follow people back and engage far more as where i am now, i do minimal as i am petrified that i’ll RB it to the wrong blog.

my motivations mostly stem from that but also wanting to break away from my bandom following (even tho i love yall, it’s time for us to go separate ways) and maybe even have a relevant URL for once.

that’s pretty much it.

the negan story line has been the one thing that has been forcing me to take pause in my love of the story because it is so impossible to sit through. actions driven by pure fear i think really motivated the early seasons (even some later like the scene with the revolving door) but as it’s progressed it’s like they’ve run out of characters that are afraid. they’ve built so many indestructible characters that they don’t have anyone to move the story forward anymore.

i would definitely want to incorporate some of that. it gets tiring to just see fear based reaction after fear based reaction but in a worldwide event so unparalleled, it’s almost ridiculous how quickly people stop using fear as a plot motivator.

yes!! how do you survive in an inhospitable environment!! buildings degrade! what do you do if you’ve somehow survived this long and now all your places to take shelter are inhabited by apex predators and rotted from natural exposure. a lot of it is genuinely ‘how does a society rebuild after crisis when there’s nothing to build with’ what happens if your skilled workers get killed and you never found out how to accomplish this or that or what happens if you’re suddenly the only person on earth who knows how to do this one thing? are people going to kill each other for access to your knowledge and skills? people have done far worse for much less.

also yes definitely watch the movie.
