Almost a year ago I found out about bts and made this blog. I just wanted a place to be their fan, to get to know more about them and at the time, I didn’t know how important they would become and their impact in my life.
I can’t really believe I’m actually typing this, but I reached 1k followers. It’s been a long time goal for me, from my other blogs (rip them) and I finally made it! But of course it wouldn’t be possible without all the amazing people that follows me. I just want to thank you all, for copying with me even when I don’t post oc for a while, when I was on a semi-hiatus bc of school and when I just didn’t show up sometimes. This blog grown a lot, especially since december and it’s all because of you ❤ Last year I also got to know so many amazing people and be friends with them and I can’t really believe it. I’m really luck to be able to call them my friends and I’m very grateful for have met them.
Now let’s move to the follow forever! I’m sorry if I missed some mutuals or forgot someone but tumblr confuses me lol

Earth is the third planet from the Sun and is the largest of the terrestrial planets. The Earth is the only planet in our solar system not to be named after a Greek or Roman deity. The Earth was formed approximately 4.54 billion years ago and is the only known planet to support life.
Tumblr media
The Earth’s rotation is gradually slowing. This deceleration is happening almost imperceptibly, at approximately 17 milliseconds per hundred years, although the rate at which it occurs is not perfectly uniform. This has the effect of lengthening our days, but it happens so slowly that it could be as much as 140 million years before the length of a day will have increased to 25 hours.
Tumblr media
The Earth was once believed to be the centre of the universe. Due to the apparent movements of the Sun and planets in relation to their viewpoint, ancient scientists insisted that the Earth remained static, whilst other celestial bodies travelled in circular orbits around it. Eventually, the view that the Sun was at the centre of the universe was postulated by Copernicus, though this is also not the case.
Tumblr media
Earth has a powerful magnetic field. This phenomenon is caused by the nickel-iron core of the planet, coupled with its rapid rotation. This field protects the Earth from the effects of solar wind.

One take a gander at the Porpoise Galaxy, or NGC 2936, will let you know precisely where the name originates from. It looks much the same as a dolphin, however some say it looks more like a penguin ensuring an egg. As a general rule, this is an arrangement of two systems: The "dolphin" is really some piece of NG 2936, while the "egg" is called Arp 142.the dolphin part used to be a winding world like the Milky Way, however the massive gravitational powers of the denser universe beneath has reshaped its shape essentially. The dolphin's "eye" is the thing that used to be the winding system's center. This world is additionally inside the Hydra group of stars, and inside a billion years or something like that, the pair will combine into one. For the time being, we'll simply revel in what might as well be called a jokester making blow up creatures.
Tumblr media
This galaxy is physics become art. Even though it resembles a dolphin, it is in fact a galactic merger, with the “eye” of the dolphin being the core of a large spiral galaxy that is being distorted by the tidal influence of an even larger galaxy below it. The area to the left of the “eye” that looks like the nose of the dolphin, is in fact a huge star forming region, in which young, hot new stars illuminate the surrounding gas and dust clouds. It is expected that in about a billion or so years, the dolphin shape will have transformed itself into a regular galaxy as the merger runs its course.

Pandora’s Cluster, also referred to as Abell 2744, is a gigantic galaxy cluster made from the cosmic crash of at least four smaller gatherings of galaxies. This splatter of colour interrupted by scatterings of galaxies is Pandora’s cluster, a cosmic crash that took place over a period of roughly 350 million years.
Tumblr media
Just like its namesake, Pandora’s Box, the cluster is made up of a variety of phenomena. This strange celestial object includes two bow shock features, as well as a gaseous cosmic slingshot that was kick- started by a collision of at least four galaxy clusters.
Tumblr media
The galaxies in this gigantic cluster make up less than five per cent of its mass, while around 20 per cent is made of gas that’s so unbearably hot it glows in a blazing red, representative of X-rays. Blue colouring marks around 75 per cent of the cluster, showing the distribution of elusive and invisible dark matter. This exotic material rarely interacts with normal matter, or even itself, except through its gravitational pull.

Boötes constellation lies in the northern hemisphere. It is one of the largest constellations in the sky.
Tumblr media
The constellation’s name comes from the Greek word Βοώτης, Boōtēs, which means ox driver, plowman, or herdsman. The correct pronunciation is /boʊˈoʊtɨs/, with each ‘o’ pronounced separately and stress on the second syllable. Boötes was first catalogued by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy in the 2nd century.
Tumblr media
The constellation is home to Arcturus, the third individual brightest star in the night sky, after Sirius in Canis Major and Canopus in Carina constellation.

Astronomers have made the most detailed study yet of an extremely massive young galaxy cluster using three of NASA’s Great Observatories, as described in our latest press release. This multi-wavelength image shows this galaxy cluster, called IDCS J1426.5+3508 (IDCS 1426 for short), in X-rays from the Chandra X-ray Observatory in blue, visible light from the Hubble Space Telescope in green, and infrared light from the Spitzer Space Telescope in red.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This rare galaxy cluster, which is located 10 billion light years from Earth, weighs almost 500 trillion Suns. This object has important implications for understanding how these mega-structures formed and evolved early in the Universe. Astronomers have observed IDCS 1426 when the universe was less than a third of its current age. It is the most massive galaxy cluster detected at such an early age.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First discovered by the Spitzer Space Telescope in 2012, IDCS 1426 was then observed using the Hubble Space Telescope and the Keck Observatory to determine its distance. Observations from the Combined Array for Millimeter Wave Astronomy indicated it was extremely massive. New data from the Chandra X-ray Observatory confirm the galaxy cluster mass and show that about 90% of the mass of the cluster is in the form of dark matter, the mysterious substance that has so far been detected only through its gravitational pull on normal matter composed of atoms.

A spiral galaxy with about 1 trillion stars located in the Ursa Major (also called the Greater Bear) constellation is the Pinwheel Galaxy. The galaxy has well-defined spiral arms and dust lanes extending all the way around the body of the galaxy. The Pinwheel was discovered in 1781 by astronomer Pierre Méchain and was communicated to Charles Messier who verified its position. He has described it as a "nebula without star, very obscure and pretty large, 6' to 7' in diameter, between the left hand of Bootes and the tail of the Great Bear." The galaxy is about 70% larger than the Milky Way Galaxy or over twice its diameter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Pinwheel Galaxy contains hundreds of billions of stars and is notable for its many large, bright star forming regions. Various images of the galaxy reveal about 3,000 of the H II regions, ionized by bright hot young stars. The galaxy is believed to have had an encounter with another galaxy in the past. It appears asymmetrical on one side and this is thought to be a result of the collision. The intense star forming activity in this region is another outcome of the interaction between the two galaxies.
