To the city I love, Even at the very beginning, it felt like I'd been here a lifetime. Even when we aren't looking, you somehow show us something great. The moments that cannot be described would have to be my favorite... 🗽📝*Full post in bio*📝🗽 ᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕ *Share your journey: #letterstonyc (at New York, New York)

so what if i think deeper, love deeper, and hurt deeper than most of these other men. i'll love so deep even if it means i'll completely destroy myself. i learned the graver the pain, the greater power you gain. i rather have loved and lost, than to have never loved and lose. ✍: @Realmenmovement 📷: @Pointofviewimages

the world is constantly changing and most of us never know where the day will take us. it's easy to get swept up in the rush of it all. it's even easier to lose it all. that's why i love the little moments; reminders that we are living our dreams. hope is here. friendship is here. love is here. sometimes this city brings out the best in us. sometimes i forget that i live in the greatest city there ever was. #iwannaholdyourhand 🗽✍ (at New York, New York)

📷: @itsmoko Here's the thing about New York City. It is relentless. It just doesn't stop. The grind. The hustle. The attitude. The grit. Everything you can possibly name takes its form here, and it literally never ends. It's what first enticed me and still keeps me on the edge of my seat. But it's also what almost consumed me. The biggest lesson I learned from this past year is that I'm not like New York. As much I want to do it all and hustle non-stop, I have a limit. Towards the middle of 2015, I found myself close to a nervous breakdown. ✍ᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕᵕᵔᵕᵔᵕ✍ Read more: (link in Bio😀) 🗽✍ (at New York, New York)

"The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself." -Anna Quindlen *Thank you all for challenging this page to try new things and grow organically. This year was wildly fun & super scary at the same time. There is much to be thankful for. 2016: #ImAlllin #2015bestnine

Dear New York City, Thank you for one of the craziest years of my life. 🗽✍ (at Bryant Park)

"When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy." Matt 2:10 I believe in the magic of this city. In the blink of an eye, everything can change. Dreams unfold. Love explodes and ignites unquenchable fires. A gift that keeps on giving. This is what I've taken from this crazy, fast-paced life. There is mystery waiting for us in the mundane. Our days are often filled with uncertainty and hope can be hard to find. I especially love the Christmas season because it reminds me of the day it all changed. Life found its meaning with the birth of Jesus Christ. Light invaded the darkness. A thrill of hope conquered death, depression, fear and all the like. We are all sinking in oceans of grace. "Without Jesus' birth, there would be no resurrection, and without His resurrection I would have no hope. So I will celebrate His birth with a l l that I am." Our greatest days are ahead. Hope changes everything💫

it was a dark and stormy evening. there were no other sounds except for drops of rain and the passing cars. on the sidewalk, yellow and brown leaves were already starting to gather, floating downwind in a steady stream. i stepped mindfully around the puddles. and now. on my way back out―along the same path―the ground is completely dry and bathed in sun. life can change almost instantly. dead things come alive again. broken dreams restored. there is hope in every season, and new life in every raindrop. 🗽✍ (at Brooklyn Bridge)

the city leaves it’s mark on you for life. it demands that your life be changed; be it the tiniest of shifts or a grand whopping revolution. when we say goodbye, there is a piece of our hearts tucked away inside her soul. and hers permanently in ours. #tillnexttime 🗽✍ 📷: @shinacate (at Brooklyn Bridge)
