Ah yes, the All Saints Wake ideas!

So obviously with Alphinaud being shit his pants scared of everything Ghosts, I can't imagine the poor boy had a good time with All Saints Wake.

I also like idea that Sharlayan basically turns the entire city into a large haunted house type thing to allow children to trick or treat.

And the twins went off to the Studium at 13, so obviously they're old enough to attend the festivities alone too! ... Right?

So off the two of them to, dressed as Voidsent. Except Alphinaud normally spends the event with a white knuckle grip on Amelaince. But she's not there! Because they're practically grown-up now, so they're by themselves.

And Alphinaud ends up gripping at the back of Alisaie's outfit, crouched so he's smaller than her, and peering over her shoulder because it's SAFE back there!

And Alisaie, able to feel how her twin is shaking, starts making jokes about other people and the decorations.

"I think the chimera you drew when we were six looked more realistic than that spider!"

"Ah yes, a skeleton and a witch, definitely the most normal of companions!"

"Okay I'm pretty sure he's just in lingerie! I'd hate to get in bed next to him, he'd be colder than your feet!"

Which helps Alphinaud not feel so scared and see the costumes more as just costumes instead of as scary creatures of the night come up life.

An older teenager jumps out of a bush at them and Alisaie goes OFF!

"What kind of careless jackass jumps out at someone who's already so obviously frightened!? Do you have any braincells knocking about in there, or do you just not care at all about other people!? Take off that fucking mask and let me see your face when you apologise for what you've done!"

They go back to the dorms after that to eat a truly inordinate amount of sweets together and pass out together but not before Alisaie grumbles that:

"I was wrong earlier. There's nothing colder than your thrice damned feet!"

Some Leveilleurcest headcanons

While others use the front half of their names, Alisaie and Alphinaud refer to each other as 'Saie' and 'Naud' and always have (well, before Alphinaud picked his name, Alisaie used the back half of his dead name but the premise was the same)

Alisaie will fake sick to get her brothers full attention without having to ask for it. He always knows when she's doing it.

They're both bi with a strong preference to the same gender. It appears like they are each others only real opposite gender attraction.

Alphinaud blushes all the way up his ears, especially when Alisaie says something that sounds innocent but is anything but.

Alisaie is a cuddle bug. She loves wrapping herself around her brother to sleep.

Alisaie bites. To show affection, normally. Alphinaud is near constantly bruised up from his sisters sharp teeth.

Alphinaud likes sitting in Alisaie's lap, or have Alisaie sit in his, while he reads. Being so close to each other is a huge comfort.
