Leverage 5x4- "The French Connection Job"

It has been decided that Sophie Devereaux was the original inspiration for Carmen Sandiego. The Leverage team discovers this when she dresses as Carmen for a Halloween party and both Hardison and Parker are highly amused by it (Hardison, of course, was a fan of the computer game and Parker watched the show on PBS because that was the only channel that every childhood home where she lived had). Nate just heard of it because some kid of a coworker at IYS played the game or watched the show and they sometimes talked about it in the office.

Eliot is really the only one who has no idea who this Carmen Sandiego person is and is convinced she’s a real-life thief he somehow never heard of until Parker finally explains it to him. Then he’s just distressed that Parker understood a reference that he didn’t get. (But really, why would he have time for computer games and PBS game shows or cartoons? He was too busy getting laid.)

Anyway, Sophie eventually confesses that she was a young girl at the time and met this man in Sandiego. She was using the alias Carmen at the time and – due to a strange series of circumstances and youthful misguidance – gave the man an idea of what she really was: a grifter. He was enamored with her, but just as always, she vanished somewhere across the world. Later, the game came out and she was amused to see that she had a legacy of her own. Of course, she never wore that hat, though she had worn the long coat. It was gorgeous, one of her favorites. But, after seeing the artwork of her imagined character, she might have gone out to buy a red hat. Just for fun.

hi! okay so this was a delight to make, although i'm so sorry for the coloring on some of these, some scenes are kinda tricky.

i did this here for the whole ot3 and hopefully i'll get around to the individual duos within in the next few days!

Could you please gif the scenes in The Beantown Bailout Job and The Too Many Rembrandts Job when Parker tells Sophie that they should steal something?

hi! i did this here. the difference in sophie's reaction is REALLY cool to me. in the beantown bailout job she's instantly so on board but redemption 1x01 sophie is still WRECKED with grief and where - in 2x01 - she doesn't even question parker's method of cheering her up, she's genuinely disbelieving that parker would suggest stealing smth at this point, which proves to me just how deep she's in her grief.

it makes me very sad and is great!!
