âthe biggest excuse.â he exaggerated with a small smile, forcing his hands into his letterman jacket as he walked down the corridor, keeping his eyes on the ground in case he noticed the piece of paper she was looking for. it all seemed pointless, but clearly it meant something to the girl. âalright.. lead the way to your locker.â he stopped in his tracks, waiting for her to lead the way. obviously he had no idea where it was, he knew this was the first real conversation they had had. âwhyâs it so important?â
thea laughed. âwell as long as you donât blame me when your teacher doesnât believe that you tried to help a girl find her doctorâs note.â she said with a  small grin. âitâs right this way, not far at all.â she told him as she lead the way to her locker in hopes of finding that paper. âbecause it just is.â she said giving him a vague answer but the girl went on speaking decided not to make it so vague. âi want to get into a good college and iâve heard they look at that stuff. itâs not as important but they do see it and i donât want them to see an unexcused absences when i can clearly give them a reason as to why i wanât there that say.â she told reggie. it was far from an understatement to say that joey hated it here. southside high mightâve been awful, but at least there they didnât have to deal with the usually peppy, always annoying northside losers. plus, there were only a handful of classes the serpent enjoyed, and currently she was in one of them: history. except, the teacher decided that for this next project, he was going to pair up students himself. more specifically, a southside kid with a northside kid as a bonding exercise of sorts ( the idea was not a popular one nor was it without potential risks. ) when she heard her name being called, her eyes immediately scanned the class for any visible whinging from the preps. although no one stood out instantly, joey did notice another girl looking paler than usual. figures, she thought as she made her way over to where the other was sitting.
âyouâre thea, right?â the question was simple and to the point â besides, with students being coupled more and more, it was becoming blindingly obvious. yet without hesitation, joeyâs mouth opened before she could hold her tongue. âyou better not be one of those kids who do nothing in group projects.â
thea had respect for this history teacher.. that was until he came up with this genius idea of paring up a northsider and a southsider how stupid can he be? thea did all that she could to steer clear from the serpents but here she was about to be paired up with one and she already assumed sheâll be doing all the work as they go off and do whatever else they would rather be doing than working on this history project. all the blood felt like it rushed out of her when she heard her name be called  and moments later there was a girl right beside her. her new history partner.Â
all she did was nod her head at her question of her name. when she tried to open her mouth and speak nothing came out. she didnât make direct eye contact with the serpent either as small as she was she seemed very intimidating and thea knows size doesnât matter and never again will she underestimate that again. she shook her head. âno, no n-no iâm not like that at all, i mean i wonât iâll like to keep my grade as an a.â she sighed but she realized  how that sound. ânot that iâm saying working with you will bring down my grade because it wonât, iâm sorry.â

ââi wouldnât let them do that to you.â he didnât know thea well â he didnât know her at all considering she was one of the shyest girls around the school, but he wasnât letting anybody from the southside mess with the students of riverdale high. the REAL students. âif they ever say anything to you.. let me know.â he wouldnât hesitate to take care of it. âoh..â reggie mumbled under his breath, trying to resist rolling his eyes as he started walking backwards. âiâll help you look.. câmon. iâd rather throw myself down a fight of stairs or spend time with southsideâs wednesday adams than go to my history class.â
a smile of appreciation came from the shorter girl. though she knew how he felt about the others and was sure heâll do the same for the next defenseless girl it still made her smile and very much appreciative. she nod her head. âyeah, of course.â thea just hoped it didnât have to come to that, if she just stayed minding her own business how much trouble can she really get herself into? itâs been working for years so why would it change now? âreally?â she said surprised as her two raven brows came to together as she walked. she laughed a bit. âi see. using me as an excuse, i got it.â thea shook her head at the boy with a faint smile on her lips. âwell, like i said we can start at my locker and maybe retrace my steps along the way.â Â

josie hummed as her fingers slowly danced over the notes on her keyboard. though she had only planned on trying to get through her writers block, she never missed a chance to warm up her vocal chords. josie stopped upon hearing someone step into the room. she took her fingers off the keys and placed them in her lap. âwhatever this is, i hope itâs important enough for you to be interrupting my solmization scale.â she said turning around to face them. â you need something?âÂ
as soon as the girl stepped in the room she felt like she was being attacked but the girl guessed she had good reason, thea did interrupted josie from her practice. âhi, yes. i just came to get my stuff. i really didnât mean to intrude. iâm so sorry.â she apologized as she walked into the room and quickly grabbed her folder and binder. she was hesitant to speak again so she didnât. that was until she got to the frame of the doorway. âwhatever, youâre working on it sounds nice.â she chewed on her bottom lip afraid how the girl will react to what she might say next. âthough if you take the last few notes you just played into c minor it will flow perfectly but thatâs just my very, very unpopular opinion.â

Ears perked at the voice that yelped up from behind her, genuinely thankful for the suggestion. Her arms rested on the head of the booth as she twisted her ribs to the side as she looked back, turns out she wasnât the only one that decided to turn around to face the other as their eyes meet almost in sync. âThank you.â a smile tugged at her lips, noticing she as well sat alone in a booth that is much too large for one single person. âAlone as well? If you donât mind may I join?â she inquired, tips of her nails tapping the cushion of the booth as she awaited an answer.
âum i...uh i mean sure, if you want?â she said with a shrug. she was sitting alone studying, the girl was always studying, but if she wanted to come and sit with her thea wasnât going to say no. she face forward and closed her book and sat it next to her. the girl could be very shy and a bit awkward. she tried not be but she just was.Â
#scrlttbn#i was so distracted while replying to this#you should've of seen i spelled awkward as award#because that's what i was talking about lol

reggieâs eyes closed instantly as he was ran into, the large boy not stumbling backwards like the girl had and staying in place. it wasnât until he opened his eyes and realised that it was thea that he leaned down to help her, letting out a small, defeated sigh. âa least it wasnât a southsider.. i would have flipped.â reggie admitted, reaching for one of her books to cling onto before standing up again. âyou donât gotta apologise.. promise. i should have looked out for where i was going.â he forced a friendly smile on his face. âwhat uh.. what were you mumbling about before? and did i hear you say fudge?â
âoh god no.â she said shaking her head. âiâm glad it wasnât a serpent either. i-i probably wouldâve just died or something. and i guess it was both our fault. i was too bust looking for my noteâ a slight chuckle escaped her lips and once all her belongings were picked up she thanked reggie for his help. âhuh? oh i..um what? no. huh?â she didnât know what to say because she did say fudge. she didnât curse and she had her own list of words sheâll use.  she just went on to answer his first question in hopes of him just waving it off.  âwell, i was just looking for my doctors note. mustâve fell in my locker or something so iâm going to have to go back and get it. i canât have an unexcused absent on my attendance. i wonât allow it.â

âfuuudge.â she said as angry as she could get as the girl quickly flipped the pages of the textbook she was studying out of last night, looking for her doctors note. âwhere is it, where is it.â she kept saying to herself as she walked down the halls of her school. she was sure that everyone was in class so the small chance that sheâll actually run into someone was slime to- âoh my god iâm so, so sorry.â she said crashing into a body, nearly falling backwards herself. all theaâs things fell to the ground instead of her and she automatically went to the floor and started to pick her mess up. âiâm so sorry. â she said once again as she quickly glanced up to see who she ran into.Â
#northsouthstart#listen go easy on her#or not#and yes she said fudge#just like the scene from#a christmas story

While she doesnât remember much of her time in Riverdale the moment she took a sip of her milkshake at Pops she was hit with nostalgia. Guess even if you donât remember much some things just stick to you and with that revelation a faint smile tugged at her lips. It had been a good twenty minute since she sat down, she was supposed to meet her sister for dinner but she knew keeping her hopes up would fall on deaf ears but part of her still expected her to come, part of her thought some things might change but barely anything has and she blames herself more than anyone for her disappointment. A sight escaped her lips as grabbed her phone and texted her sister telling her sheâll go ahead an eat and see her when she sees her.  âGuess some things never change..â she muttered under her breath as she grabbed the menu that laid on the counter. âNow what exactly should I order.â she pondered to herself with a tap of the chin.
âwhatever you get just make sure you get onion rings with it.â she suggested. as to why the girl just spoke out like that surprised her because thatâs very unlike her. she quickly turned back around in her booth as she said sorry because the girl wasnât even talking to her. thea mentally slapped herself. she was the type of girl to always mind her own business, especially now more than ever.Â

THEA LEWIS is often mistaken for NAOMI SCOTT, but theyâre really just an EIGHTEEN year old NORTHSIDER trying to adjust to the new atmosphere at riverdale high. they can be so PATIENT, , but also kind of SHY . rumour has it, the texts are blackmailing them with BEING A WITNESS TO A MURDER AND NOT GOING TO THE COPS.  â i wonder if itâs true?
okay so this is my other baby. love her please.Â
sheâs shy and usually donât talk until spoken to.
sheâll never come up and start a conversation for the fear of embarrassing herself because she tends to ramble and than sheâll think that youâll get annoyed .
god does this girl have all the patience in the world! and i donât even know why.Â
sheâs such a sweetheart omg
sheâs not  like..if you tell her the sky is green sheâll look up.Â
my girl can hold on but it just takes a lot.
she seen a murder go down as she was walking home one night.Â
and the murder seen her..so she thought and now she thinks the only reason sheâs still alive is because she hasnât went to cops or told anyone.
when the real reason is that the killer didnât even notice her....... Â fml
how does she feels about the southside kids coming to her school
nervous as hell it makes her anxiety goes up.
especially when they look at her funny when they pass down the hall
itâs not like sheâll say hey get out of our school because thatâs mean
does she even have a mean bone in her body?
maybe? who knows.Â
as long as they donât hurt anyone especially her she doesnât care.Â
even though it kind of makes her uncomfortable.Â
omg what if someone tries to corrupt her.. stop! iâm telling my ideas to stop because i may want that.. sheâs a good girl. i guess she can be a little feisty, and may have an attitude but youâll have to dig deep for that shit. lmao
