ok so while Elisa is iconic and I love her to bits, I do actually love the John x Alex not so headcannon (Lin totally confirmed it) but something that ALWAYS bothered me was that since they’re the same actor, Philip looks like Lawrence and that’s just kinda weird

Alex and Eliza were actually a lavender marriage - she knew he loved John but she loved Alex and just wanted him to be happy bc SHES like THE BEST PERSON EVER and Alex and John want a child buand obviously can’t so

and everything’s right in the world until … BAM JOHN DIES HEARTBREAK is UNIVERSAL AND WE ALL SOB IN DEVASTATION

But Eliza is helping Alex deal with his grief and they grow closer and Eliza admits that SHES LESBIAN AND DATING MARIA REYNOLDS (IGNORE THE FACT PENELOPE EXISTED PLS) but then Maria’s husband finds out and start extorting Hamilton threatening to expose the fact Eliza’s a lesbian - but Hamilton pays him off and everything’s fine and THEN Jefferson has to big his bigass head in and accuse Hamilton of stealing gov funds so Hamilton panics and says that he was cheating with Maria.

This is a problem

Eliza was NOT consulted and she’s pissed, but eventually gets over it
