This is a poster I made to be a part of a fictional exhibit called “The Kitchen of Meaning”. I was assigned the word Vernacular and this poster performs that word. I decided to display the word vernacular using the word “cool” and the many forms it can take. I assigned each person in the exhibit a “cool” word. In order to create the poster, I took pictures of each person in the exhibit’s mouth beginning to say their assigned word and drew them. All of the type is handmade.

This was a book designed to instruct women on how to floss. This book was created as a novelty item. It is mean to be sassy, humorous, and classy. There are pictures in the post above displaying the book in it’s 3D form. It was created to be interactive by including a pocket of floss inside the book as well as a mirror.

This is an animation that serves as an allegory for evolution. It is about a girl going through an existential crisis that is able to over come this crisis by mixing things up and making a breakfast taco. It focuses on the evolution of the egg into a taco. (note: this video has sound!)

This piece was created in After Effects. It is a motion piece designed to show a futuristic weather program that would be controlled by a user. In order to create this I broke up the piece based on elements of the LATCH system (location, alphabetical, time, category, hierarchy). The elements used are Location, Alphabet, and Time. (This video has sound!)
