“If there is one thing I definitely don’t miss, it’s annoying kids hanging around. They were always getting themselves into trouble, despite warnings,” she rolled her eyes, recalling the kids she’d have to step in and save from dangerous situations on the streets.

Her face was neutral for a few moments before she grinned, shaking her head. "That is one of the lamest jokes I have ever heard," She chuckled.

The girl glanced over, seemingly unimpressed. She raised an eyebrow, in a neutral tone she asked, “how?” She kept her gaze on Jacqueline, face expressionless. She wanted to hear the answer to this, most likely, cheesy joke.

“you boil the hell out of it,” she replied, not being able to help but fully crack up at her own lame joke. “get it – ??? because the – and – hehe, you get it.”

"What the fuck are you doing?" Leyna stopped, calling out to the person in front of her. She had been walking around the town when she noticed them, and hadn't moved from where she stood from when she first saw them. They hadn't noticed her. Leyna had recorded them the first couple minutes before she grew tired of watching them, and called out.

Looking over to the confused woman, she turned to face her, closing her camcorder. "Don't even bother. You were a caffeine junkie, yeah," it wasn't phrased as a question. "You'll hate it. If you're really thirsty, just drink water. Your tastebuds will thank you later," Leyna advised.

Having never been a tea drinker while alive Evelyn was at a loss browsing the herbal tea menu at the cafe. Coffee packed the biggest caffeinated punch, which is why it had been her go to drink before. Frowning at the uninformative description of one blend in particular she asked aloud, “What on earth is oolong?”

Leyna glanced over at the girl, swinging her camera to face her. She had been looking around for somebody to film for a while now. Maybe she could have some fun with this. "You do know nobody is paying any attention to you, right?"

Skin with a tint of blue, Marisol peered over at the other with a frustrated look on her face. “You do know that self-pity won’t get you anywhere with me, right? I’m not the comforting type.” The girl had received very little herself growing up.

She nodded, "Yeah. I guess I did just enough good to counter all the 'sins' and bad things I did when living," she leaned back, "life- or rather, death here isn't so bad."

“Exactly. As boring as this place is, it’s better than being tortured for eternity. And it’s more likely if any of us leave this damn town, we’re going straight to the ‘depths of hell’, none of us are exactly saints. No thank you, I am perfectly fine right here,” She grinned.

She walked over, smirking, camera out and pointed towards the girl. "Tsk tsk, didn't anybody ever teach you it's wrong to steal?" She called out, teasingly.

A small smile crept onto Elodie’s features as she fiddled with the locket. It was so insignificant to her, and yet she just had to have it. She was already attracted to things she didn’t have and needed, or just things she wanted to have. Growing up she was always told that stealing was bad, but with a life like hers, it was what she really had to do to survive. Looking around, even though nobody was around most of the time, she slipped the locket into her pocket.
