» HISTORY

Antonia Wilds is a strong dedicated woman who put her personal life on the back burner for her career. Since she was little Antonia was always driven by the desire to accomplish something with her life. Being so driven and determined on achieving it left no margin for anything else in her life. When she was young it was all about school and her grades as she grew older work was what took over her life. It wasn’t that Antonia was antisocial because she did have an odd friend here and there and even a guy that had proposed to her at least twice but Antonia always asked him to wait until she got that next promotion and then when that promotion came she asked for the next one. Her supervisors noticed her dedication to her job as an FBI field agent and they realized that she was perfect for the job of helping oversee the program that they call Lake Grimstone.

To Antonia helping oversee Lake Grimstone is just a stepping stone towards bigger and better things, she doesn’t plan on staying there her whole life the way the residents are forced to do or at least that’s the way she always saw it. As of late her views on the people and the place have started to change. Seeing everything that has gone on in Lake Grimstone and the bonds that have formed between people woke something in her, a need to actually have someone she could trust and count on. It is that same feeling the one that makes her miss home and at times makes her turn to alcohol to deal with the emptiness that she feels. Antonia doesn’t let anyone see that though to everyone in Lake Grimstone she is the strong determined woman that she was when she first arrived all those years ago.

Even though she feels bad that the government is keeping people locked away and away from the people they love she says nothing about it. Instead, Antonia just follows directions doing everything she can to keep the residents with special abilities inside the gate around Lake Grimstone. In a way, she does feel like they are safer there than they are in the real world but at the same time, she feels like it should be their decision, not the governments, however, speaking her mind about that could ruin her career and that is something that she won’t risk. She worked too hard, sacrificed not just her personal life but also one of the men she did love and left behind back home just to get where she wanted in her career. That is why she won’t let that all go to waste over a moral difference between her and her employers.

» HISTORY

Talia is a hard worker, she’s competitive and she likes to believe that she’s always right. She’s strong minded, determined and will stop at nothing to get what she wants which is a trait she picked up from one of her mothers. Talia was raised by two women that were very much in love but the fact that that they were caring and possibly the best family that Talia could ask for didn’t make things easier for them. Being different is always hard and when your whole family is different, well let’s just say that Talia has no idea what easy means. Her mothers always told her that what was worth it was never easy and that if she wanted something bad enough she had to work hard for it, that if it was too easy then she would never appreciate it. That was the reason why their family was so special, because it wasn’t easy.

To Talia, the thing that made her special was the fact at her family wasn’t a “normal” one. She had been adopted by the two women after her real parents, just a couple of teenagers, gave her up for adoption. Most would have been upset by the fact that their parents gave them up, but not Talia, she was actually thankful to them for having found her a perfect home to grow up in. At the age of sixteen she discovered that she had something else that made her special, she possessed a power. Talia kept her power hidden from everyone except her mothers who tried everything to make her feel as normal as they possibly could. To them, she was still the perfect child that they had fallen in love with the day they laid eyes on her.

For seven years Talia had a normal life–or as normal as someone with superpowers could have–she finished high school, enrolled in to the police academy, graduated and went in to the force. It was there, however, where it all changed for Talia. Seeing her life and her partner’s life in danger she had no choice but to use her power which led to the government finding out about her power and eventually found her. Because of her background and her job with the police force the government decided to not just take her in as a resident, but to offer her a job as a guard to help keep the residents safe and in check, something that they didn’t tell her she would be doing. Talia was briefed and she knew that she could go in as a simple resident or go in and try to help people, which was something she always wanted, and so she took the job. Talia is always trying to help people putting others before herself, but she also has no trouble putting people in their. She is hoping that being in Lake Grimstone will help her with her power and controlling it so that her emotions don’t rule it she knows that it won’t be easy but then again nothing worthwhile ever is.

JACKSON NORRIS - Jackson is someone that Talia works with and someone that likes to get under her skin.

RHEA SOTO - Rhea is a friend, someone that Talia knows she can count on even when times get hard.
