It was rather typically really, for Haruka to be half naked and ready to go in the pool when others were still sleeping. Ordinarily, Makoto at the very least would come along, but his best friend had taken unfortunately ill.

"You are early too." Haru peeked his head over the surface of water just long enough to respond. "Don't worry about the rest of them. Makoto is sick. Rei and Nagisa were up late last night playing video games."

i want threads with build up. i want shippy threads, but i don’t like forced ships. so i want to start from the beginning, so our muses have to grow to like, hate, or love each other. i want them to fight. i want them to go nights without talking. i want them to go days where they can’t get enough of the other and others where they hardly want to be around each other. i want relationship development. i want threads with build up. i want to rp real things. that means nothing has to be perfect.

multi-shipping;
Hello friends.

This is just an announcement to let everyone know that this blog shall be multi-shipping again as of today.
Don't worry, there is no drama involved at all. My partner and I role played together wonderfully and she is an excellent writer. I still encourage all of you to follow her and role play with her whenever she is back from her hiatus. I informed her of my decision and this should be a very peaceful break. We are just no longer suitable for each other.
Anyway, yes, just wanted to make that tiny announcement. All of my current ongoing role play partners, you guys don't have to worry about slipping accidentally into romantic category. Just write whatever you want to write.

A spoonful of the questionable thick liquid was dumped inside the poor little shark's mouth.

"Isn't it good?"
He reluctantly open his mouth. He hopes he doesn’t die from this.

Such was what always happened with Rin. He'd make you think he was not a threat, moving with such graceful laziness and all but behold. The moment your attention strayed he'd have you prisoner in his arms. Escape would be proven futile. After all, sharks never let go of their preys, especially when they had their teeth sunk solidly in them. Haru's smile became more natural as he allowed himself to be held against Rin's chest. Contentment rushed in his chest, making the raven's entire torso felt lighter, warmer.
This...Would be a problem.
Since he was dead set against making his Rin watch him die, he had a few options to consider. Breaking up was one of them and it was the more developed idea. Haru had been considering it ever since he went to the hospital for those scans, but every time he looked at Rin's face, the idea dissolved in his mind. He couldn't do it, could he? First of all, Rin would never accept a break up out of nowhere. He might ask questions and the chance of Haru going out with the entire story was high. After all, he was no natural liar.
Running away, then. Perhaps that would be easier.
Rin's seeking lips hovered over his, the warmth bringing Haru's attention back to the present. He felt at once ashamed of himself for thinking about such dark things while he should be enjoying himself. This could be one of their last days together as a normal couple and Rin deserved all of him here. "I got a bit distracted there..." Haru mumbled, touching their lips together quickly, and again. "Sorry. Terrible of me to let my mind wander when my boyfriend is looking for affection." And so for once Haruka didn't remind Rin of their other responsibilities in the day or give him a cuddle time limit. Instead, he just slipped his slightly cool hand up the other's shirt, wanting to be closer...Until he could believe they were made of the same piece, completely inseparable by time. Or death.

"..." He didn't even know what to say. Dealing with a drunk Nagisa was something he had to do before, but a full blown wasted Nagisa Haru was less experienced with. At least last time, Nagisa was making friends with strangers on the street - while that was weird and also dangerous, at least those were humans.
It became much harder to move with this little blond bundle of drunken wiggleness on him and for once, Haru was grateful for the muscles he built up from swimming. In the end, he hauled Nagisa up a little more until they had a loop sided piggy back going on. "Don't throw up," the dark haired male warned as he walked towards his house as quickly as he dared. If past experience were anything to judge by, the chance of his shirt getting soiled here on the streets was slim. Nagisa's mouth usually occupied itself by babbling instead of puking.
A few minutes took them to the Nanase residence. Haru threw his grocery stuff onto the floor before peeling Nagisa off of him. The blond was laid out on the cool floor while the dolphin went in search for spare blankets and pillows.

"You are an idiot, you know that?" A cup of tea was held up to the smaller's lips. It was not hot, for Haru had no time to boil water. It might be a good thing, though. The last thing he needed was the blond giving himself a burn from taking a huge gulp of hot tea. "What prompted you to do this to yourself?"

Damn. So his gut instinct had been correct. Haruka's expression remained constant, yet his heart sank when he heard those words.
It wasn't an accident.
This just got complicated. More complicated than Haru's limited social skills know how to handle. A lie was obviously not the right course of action here, however much easier it would be to choose. The raven considered himself a person with very few positive personality traits, but honest was one of them. He wouldn't lie, especially to Makoto in a situation like this.
Dark brows furrowed lightly at the brunet's clenched hands, yet Haru did not allow his anxiousness take over and prevent him from doing what was right in his eyes. He placed a hand over the taller's, gently...Comfortingly. "Makoto," he started, voice just a pinch softer than usual.

"You know I care about you. A lot. I am not good at talking about these things, so I have never told you about it." That was his lead in, a cushion made out of kindness which the orca could fall on when he heard the next parts of this speech. "People always said how...Good we would be, together. I thought about it before. If certain things didn't happen - if I never met him - then I..."
If that sunny day, a certain red haired kid didn't force his way into his life with that mesmerizing smile. If he never left for Australia and taught Haru what it was like to miss someone with his entire heart...If he never came back, different in appearance yet deep inside, still the emotional little shark that craved attention and love. If he had never met and fell in love with Rin Matsuoka, then they wouldn't have to be doing this. Haru could accept Makoto, lean his head back down on the other male's shoulder and smile because that would feel right.
"...Wouldn't only love you like a brother."
I'll be your eyes;

HELLO!

Please like this post if I owe you!
I am alive. And here is a small list of excuses as to why I haven't been here. Hopefully you guys feel enough pity to forgive me wholeheartedly for my disappearance.
I've been training for a marathon.
I actually did the marathon
My ass hurts, my back hurts. My legs hurt. I feel like someone who got screwed for six days straight except I didn't.
Did I mention my booty hurts-

ff+ saba

A few clicks on the keyboard took him to a place he never knew existed. It involved himself with two of the things he loved the most about life. Only…Not in the ways that he imagined.
Haru was momentarily shocked into silence, uncertain as to whether this was the greatest creation in the world or the worst. First of all, how did one even have sex with mackerel? It had a tail instead of legs. Did Haru just latch onto it and go to the best of his ability?
Wow. Some people were really imaginative but Haru highly doubted saba-san would feel the kind of searing pleasure as described from his touch through all those scales.

happy appreciation day;
What do you mean it doesn't exist?
Of course it does!
This is not a follow forever post otherwise I'd try to make it prettier. It's more like a 'yay' post.
First of all, thanks to all the one who had ever followed me on free--style, theazuresurface or li-ber-tas. I really appreciate all of your encouraging comments and fantastic role plays!
Of course, certain people deserve special recognition and an extra slice of the love cake.
Kayla, for all of her accounts. You know, you probably had just as much Rin accounts as I did Haru accounts. x3 High five for being those with endless accounts of the same character. I shouldn't have to tell you that you are a great role player, because I spoil enough that you should know anyway.
Lina, I like your Gou a lot. Your writing style is really nice. I never got around to warming up to Haruki but I really thought we had a chance with that mermaid role play which you still owe me a reply to. Thanks for being a comfort.
Sarah, I already gave yours on skype last night, you don't get to have it again. 8U
Mako-chan, I also gave you yours but you can have a secret pet on the head as something a little extra.
Val, you have yours. You know I appreciate you. Honestly. [/kicks your face] Get some more of that confidence going.
Satan-channnnn. Yes, go for freeee. Your Gou is one of my favorites, just because she can dish out sass like there's no tomorrow. >:3 Your RL faceclaim of her is also super adorable.
Ali...HMMM. Am I reading off of the wrong list because this woman is really abusive and I should not like her at all. Just kidding. Yeah. You are pretty great. Glad you warmed up to multi-shipping. Rp life will be more beautiful this way.
Victor, thank you. For...You know. You know.
Max, don't make me worry. Have lotta rps. WORK ON SOME HEART WRENCHING ANGST. Collect hearts in jars. It is most entertaining. Appreciate you for being one of those people who always like my posts pffft.
AMANDA. We haven't known each other for very long but APPRECIATION. Here, have it. Put it in your pocket and love it. [/paps] I love role playing with you.
I also recall liking lilshitnagisa & sawakool fiercely for some reasons. >:
Miles, your energy is most lovely. Keep eet up forever. Everyone else in my main group. You guys are fantastic role players.
God there are too many of you to list. Some of you I purposely didn't list though we know each other well because it might be awkward but HEY. Just thanks, you people.

detective nanase;

One dish of dried mackerel which had been sitting on the kitchen counter had disappeared. One of these people was the culprit and they had only thirty minutes before he started making dinner to find out who. This was what happened when one had too many people to keep track of in their house.
"You there." Haru pointed to one of his friends at random. "Where were you five minutes ago?"

Tradition; { drabble }
When they first met, they were squishy little babies. Haruka himself could remember nothing of the encounter and had to base his understanding of the situation off his mother's blurry memory. Mrs. Nanase and Mrs. Tachibana were out having a stroll with their sons in a bundle of blankets. It was the day of the first snow in the winter, and the babies were squirming energetically in excitement. It just so happened that the two mothers sat down at the same bench, and then, quickly got to know each other.
Haruka was told that he was more interested in the feather-like flakes of snow than the baby placed next to him. He reached out a chubby hand, letting a single snowflake land on his hand. The raven could not recall what it felt like then, but he was sure it was the same as it is now. Light, translucent, like a piece of lace ribbon that brushed gently past his skin.
Unfortunately, the beauty could not last, as the snow quickly melted into water. Only after his distraction had melted did Haru finally turn towards the sleeping brown haired baby. He reached out his wet hand and touched the brunet on the face. Makoto Tachibana, his future best friend, was roused and feeling most unpleasant about being wet. A wailing session ended their first meeting quickly, but that was just the very beginning.
"Haru, let's build a snow man!" Five year old Makoto was dressed in thick layers, yet still shivering in the coldness of the winter. His cheeks were reddened by the harsh wind, yet his smile was nothing short of sweet. Haruka agreed to the proposal quickly. At that age, he was a little more willing to pursue entertainment. Makoto set on making a bunny, while Haruka was a lot more ambitious. After an afternoon of labor, the two snow creatures were examined for imperfection. Makoto's bunny was truly adorable...While Haru's pile of snow seemed strange in comparison.
"Hm..." The young dolphin frowned then. Something was missing. He walked up to his friend and stole Makoto's scarf. Without explaining himself, he wrapped the scarf around the snow creature's neck. Only then did Makoto realize that the snow man Haru built was the same height as he. So, that pile of snow was in fact Haru's best attempt at making Makoto, huh. The thought made the five year old brunet smile.
He wanted to stay in this moment forever.
When they were ten, the snow man building contest began again. This time, it wasn't just the two of them. A cheerful blond was beside Makoto, making a snow toilet so he could sit on it. The red head beside Haru was equally excited to be playing the game and he was trying to make a snow trophy. The four of them had a grand time before leaving the field that day, red faced and shivering. Makoto had made a bunny, honoring the tradition and Haru, like last time, made Makoto. While it was more human shaped this time, it still looked closer to a snow monster than the young orca standing before them.
Fifteen was a tough age. Haru didn't want to build a snow man at all. He wanted to just sit inside with a bowl of mackerel miso and watch the snow flakes fall to the ground and turn black underneath dirty shoes. Makoto, for once in his life, persuaded his best friend otherwise. They went to the same field, just the two of them alone again like when they were five. Together, they build snow creatures. Makoto built a family of bunnies and Haruka, a Makoto. This time it was difficult, for Makoto had grown much taller and Haru only liked life-sized snow men. The brunet had to step in to help, and even donated away both his hat as well as his scarf to the tall being.
When they were twenty, the tradition was followed. This time, there was Makoto, Haruka, Nagisa, Rin and newest edition Rei. They were all building snow creatures together, a little sad because their time together would be brief. They had gone to different universities, you see, and could no longer be together as they were as teenagers. Makoto had a smile on the entire time, trying his best to treasure his time with friends. However, if one looked closely enough, they'd see the smile didn't touch his eyes. Yesterday, Haru told him he was moving. Haruka, who had always been with him since the beginning, was leaving.
A snow ball was initiated after the snow creatures were judged. Everyone had a lot of fun. This time, Haru's snow man was the best. It really was beginning to look like Makoto...
The brunet might have turned his eyes away, afraid the sadness in his heart would leak out if he was to stare at the snow built version of himself any longer.
Then, there was the goodbyes.
All of the boys who turned men walked away from one another. Each in their own direction. Haru and Mako didn't get to walk home together. They would not get to walk home together again.
At first they tried their best to keep in touch. Haruka even started answering those phone calls of his and learned to text. Gradually, though, life was getting busier. Their conversations were shorter and their texts less frequent. On Makoto's twenty-third birthday, he realized he haven't spoken to his best friend for over six months.
He tried to not be upset. After all, old friends go, new friends come. It was all a part of life. Perhaps he should be glad to have had Haru for so long in the first place.
Only...It was not like that. Haru was more-
Now that was a secret that he once wanted to share with Haruka. A moment of hesitation took away his chance. Probably forever.
Was it...Over then?
He really thought it was...Until two years later that morning when he looked out the window. Light bounced off snow, making the day seem extra bright. There was a man with dark hair and clear azure eyes outside of his window. "Hey, Makoto." Haruka waved, blowing warm air onto his snow frosted hands.
"Do you want to build a snow man?"
