and a rant

i understand its been a while, and even thats an understatement. i cannot lie. its been a rough couple months and i wish i could just make myself. just. not. be this way.

hello

ive missed a lot of you. all of you. and i havent forgotten anyone. i promise. even if your messages go unread. and im genuinely sorry for that.

i wont go into too much detail because part of me is still too proud to say whats actually wrong so ill summarize it. ive lost passion. almost.

im still in the cod fandom. i still remember oc lores and mutuals. i really promise that. from the bottom of my heart. im still part of the community. its just really hard right now for me to participate and be active.

still trying to stay vague. im just gonna point to. just. ai. something personal has been brewing for the past few months revolving ai. and it really killed my entire identity as a creator. and as much as i want to use my platform as a way to escape. its hard not to even bump into generative ai creations.

and also time has been really hard to find. as of late. to even let myself. create. from trying to find a footing and a job in the field of study i got my diploma from. to. having a pet fall ill.

hell even making this message took a lot of effort. its been brewing in my head for days. like with half finished projects and drawings i promise to finish but never do. i drew ace because. i was worried id forgotten how. it wasnt easy.

i hope at least. ill be able to set up discount commission prices. or just quick doodles. because god knows i need the funds. just to recover from vet bills. my commissions are still open to anyone interested but ill put out new pricing. hopefully soon. and try to find a routine to fall back into.

im not looking for pity or sympathy. i just wish for some patience. in case anyone happened to be worried. thank you for worrying. and im sorry to worry you. ill be better.

just. remembered the first time young me learnt that carrot cake was a 'cake' because carrot cake from what i knew was a lil savoury side dish you could have for breakfast or share for lunch as shown below. i love this food sm. black carrot cake > white carrot cake fight me
