The sun highlights the hair on their arms and hair which casts them in a fiery glow, eyes bright and unburdened as they glance over at the detective in the leather seats of the car they fixed up together as a project.

Can't fucking sleep so have whatever this is that I wrote 🤠👍🏻

Up and down. Up and down.

His fingers softly traced your spine as if he was trying to create a secret path there, a path only he got to take. Your breathings were synchronised, as they always were whenever he wrapped his arm around you to hold you close to his chest, his lips lazily pressed against your hair.

Up and down. Up and down.

His rising chest almost rocked you to sleep, his feather-like caresses not once ceasing. You thought of shifting, of pressing a kiss to his skin before using him as a pillow once more. You didn't. You didn't dare break the moment. Instead, you simply exhaled, letting your body relax against his even more than it already was.

Up and down. Up and down.

You tried to fight against the heaviness gaining your eyelids. It was so soothing. He was so soothing. You hoped this moment would never end. Would it still be the same, if you fell asleep ? You certainly hoped so.

He pressed his lips a bit harder against your hair. It's like he knew, it's like he always did. A reassurance, a proof of love, a quiet promise. He would still be there if you fell asleep. He would still be carressing your back when you would wake up, and his nose would still be buried in your hair, trying to drown in your scent. His breathing would still match yours, and his rising chest would still rock you.

Up and down. Up and down.

IMPORTANT! I haven't completely tested everything in this demo yet, but the game passed both quick and random tests. I tried to go through every route by myself, but there's only so much one person can do. That and the fact that re-reading the story 100 times is not doing wonders to my brain ( ﾟ，_ゝ｀)

More Before the Incident art!! (game by: @remnant-verse-if) I know technically that using your ability drains ur stamina but Amber’s pretty stable physically and mentally so I feel like they should be able to waste their stamina on things like…… leaning against their katana. Makes them look cool, they think.

I’m really happy to see that you’re considering adding glasses, contacts, or none to the customization!!! I’m always glad to see more options like that (and potential flavor text??? who knows)!!

Also wanted to mention that I’ve recently done another route where my character was aiming to be a lawyer but contracted with the Painter instead, and the flavor text was really cool!! Was thinking how that must take some time but I think it’s rlly worth it!!

Also doodled a little Kani/Eighteenth from the [AA] route!! I just thought she was so cute. I’m so excited to see how it’ll play out, especially with A’s contract. Of course they got a contract related to gaming. So fitting. Also bawling so hard I can’t wait to see what kind of shenanigans they’ll go through to fulfill the quest, especially with all the new characters!! And I wanna see how Ib will play into it!!! RIGSHBDHG SO EXCITED!!

Touch-averse, yet touch-starved. He usually tolerates his close ones’ touch, but more often keeps to himself.

He appears to be sullen and irritable due to his dour nature, but he’s just tired and so anxious that it’s looped into appearing calm/almost bored.

Quiet and reserved, repressed, anxious, pessimistic, hopeful, mellow, melancholic, slow to anger yet quick to keep a grudge

Simple clothes, draws often in a sketchbook. He has a lot of small trinkets, but very little “big” possessions.

His voice is low and unsteady, due to rarely speaking even in the past.

I named him based on my first sounding out of a thought: “Beyet”

From there, I looked up meanings of words similar to what I’d sounded out :>

recently played Before the Incident by @remnant-verse-if and just could NOT get it out of my head so i doodled some things!!! Press for better quality idk why tumblr does this to me.

ITS SOOOO GOOD ITS JUST MY TYPE OF STORY!!!! I PLAYED THROUGH IT IN A COUPLE HOURS!!!!! Apollo/Anna my love </3333 Come back to me/my oc </33333

Usually with my OC Amber, I pretty much always go for some (childhood) friends to lovers, so hm. prologue was a shocker. like wtf. okay. well. huh. hm.

Glad A haunts the narrative though!!! Getting flashbacks and dreams where they could’ve been happy. Delish. Feasting. I have quite the many thoughts about this IF, espc w/ Amber’s relationships with the cast. The closest person Amber has gotten with so far is Abel, probably because he really is basically in a similar boat as them. And also I derive much joy from Amber obliviously getting Abel to feel things tm by being an empathetic and generally kind person. LOVE their banter too. Don’t quite know how to draw his hair but I’ll get there. Maybe.

I also really like Syo because he’s hilarious, but with Amber’s personality and circumstances, I feel like it’s hard to get closer to him than just general lighthearted friendship and trust as teammates (mostly bc i keep choosing for amber to spend time w abel when there’s a choice), so I’m planning on doing another run with another OC to pick out what he’s hiding. i wanna study him under a microscope hehehehehe….

i don’t have much to say about Tenth but all I know is Mayor Okli needs to get in line bc I was smitten with her FIRST. all my ocs need to get in line after me, too. she’s rlly straightforward which i adore and i WILL be doing a run just for her <3

ALSO!!! i went with the wanderer duel first because I thought it was best fit for Amber’s route, but I did go back and tried the anguish duel for funsies and DAMNNNNN. OKAY…….. OKAY WELL…….. i was genuinely considering changing Amber’s canon route to that one because while the wanderer duel has a REALLY cool Amber and also Apollo flashbacks and the Amber Abel friendship solidification thing….. the anguish duel has, well, the anguish. the angst. and it was so good i’ve GOT to try and get the route where mc tries to use the knife too.

Anyways that’s it for my rambling (even tho i do have thoughts on the AA route and Ib [that mf.], but it’s more incoherent and generally just gripping my hair and pointing at the screen so i cannot write it)!! Extra doodles of scenes I rlly liked!! Not all of them because my motivation…. but yeah!!! might make more art of the diff duels soon because i liked both of the ones i played (for completely different reasons, but nonetheless they were both REALLYYY good).

can’t wait to see more of it!!!

hello interactive fiction community i present to u my sunshine child who i’ve inserted into sooooo many ifs that i have an entire google docs of xyr personality traits and how xe would react in certain situations. anyways.

WILL be posting xem more!!! since xe’s one of my main oc-inserts!!

general info:

xe/they, agender, demiromantic, + polyamorous!! Xe doesn’t mind dressing fem, but nearly always binds.

energetic and intuitive. Xe’s also very empathetic!!

in most stories they also have a guilt complex, and is usually religious, albeit casually (?)

in the angstier stories, they’re prone to trauma-induced insomnia and uses toxic positivity to cope TEEHEE.

fun facts:

Xe’s a prodigal singer and lyricist especially. learned how to play the guitar to accompany that. Some ifs don't rlly give them a chance to demonstrate that, though.

Xe has dimples and also has a tongue piercing besides the nose ring and ear piercings.

Xyr fav color is a bright orange btw!!! And xe always goes for juices as their drink of choice.

Also technically has a twin-brother named Ivory, who's another oc-insert of mine!! They get along pretty well.

Anyways. I just wanted to introduce them!!! I'll technically not be a lurker anymore in this community!!!! And hopefully I can start making art of my favorite ifs!!! YIPPEE!!!!!
