not a fun post but im definitely feeling at my worst gang. everything has just gone wrong today and feels even worse as i go. i cant lie, im losing a bit of a grip in grounding myself in reality but everything just feels fucking awful and i feel like a super horrible and gross person

i always found tumblr perfect for self reflection and i feel like when i cant to do it usually means im too busy but when im too busy does that mean i barely give myself time to reflect?

fulfilling days again!!

these last few days have been lit bc its been constantly seeing the ppl i care about in life and just spending time and having conversations and sharing in the creative work

note to self: its really great to just see people and be out and about and playing games and talking about art and making art and eating food and drinking sweat treats and having a laugh and a walk around in the world

laying around is good too! i understand the value there, but i suppose in terms of fulfillment of the soul and forward progression and my brain feeling like a human person i need to be out and about and talking and less-phone screen and more coffees and laughs.

uni sem 2025 is a GO

uni is back again and so ive become super busy but im (sorta) learning to manage it all! not sure lol, im still navigating shit but on a simple basis i am happy w where i am and who i am with

assignments were already starting to become freaky so tbh i really need to start locking in. when that would be im unsure yet lmao, at some point i will (bruh i keep procrastinating)

anyways ive been playing a lot of 1979 on the guitar and that song kinda sums how i feel atm, just vibes really!

it has been tough to manage the things i have going on now (directing development, assignments, work, personal things) but im still very grateful for how theyve all tied together!

it was a super windy day but otherwise the weather was epic epic!!

this mfer won again but this time, on the weirdest deck, the checkered deck.

at some point i realised that flushes weren't going to be my saving grace because of how little it actually scored (and how i barely had any boosters for flushes anyways..) so i thought that maybe achieving straight flushes would really help me out.

and then, i randomly discovered that you can make royal/straight flushes using the four fingers joker:

4 cards are considered as a straight, 4 cards are considered as a flush. with all 5 cards, they constitute as a straight flush which was absolutely cracked at giving me high chips/mults.

anyways what a day and what a win LOL

we were finding giants and looking at the pretty trails and wet reserves! i love looking at nature with friends and basically having a factory reset. nice to be sorta away from the urban sprawl and just remembering the awesome land that we walk on.

when being dircyed by rachel she encouraged maby forms if imporvisation for cauracter development, all of which i found super usedul in the orocess of creatibg new ideas, new scenaros, and new points of relationships between characters:

improving backstory scenes between characters

i found during the process of a-z, amelia has also used this on us!!! its a great and easy point of discovery

i swear i journalled these down somewhere but i have no idea where the journal is, so another tumblr blog for acting observations would be really good cause i need a sourcce point!!!!

but as an improviser i found these forms of character discivery to be extremely helpful in my process, its added many lore dimension to my character’s behaviour and instincts. i was able to discover thought patterns, specific relationship moments ETC!
