It goes on with all new people, and that's fine with me...."Apocalypse" has come to be used popularly as a synonym for catastrophe, but the Greek word apokálypsis, from which it is derived, means a revelation. Revelation: a surprising and previously unknown fact, especially one that is made known in a dramatic way

Hope comes from listening to my inner self.
The inner self is familiar to those involved with professional coaching or other helping fields . Here is an opportunity to explain the inner self. Wise old owl could be in your inner self waiting to advise you about hard questions in your life In almost every modality in the healing professions there is some description of the aspect of the self that is not usually within the awareness in normal waking hours. It has been called many things, each correlating to a slightly different aspect of the human psyche:
Freud’s Id The inner child of Transactional Analysis The subconscious The unconscious The ku – from native Hawaiian Huna Way – a healing philosophy for daily living (there are excellent books by Serge V. King PhD about the Huna Way).
The deeper self, hidden self, dream state, fantasy world, and colloquial terms like “lost in his own little world”, or where we go when we are daydreaming. Although these are not all the same, a theme running through all is the inner self being levels of our thoughts, ideas, beliefs, feelings, memories, knowledge, intuition, that is not usually noticed by our conscious selves. Hope comes from my inner self because she has so much more than I do…more intelligence, more love, more wisdom, In fact everyone’s inner self includes the best version of the self, along with repressed aspects of ourselves that may be considered bad or socially unacceptable. Some healing approaches break down the destructive and constructive aspects of the inner self. If you are bold or fearless about listening to your inner-self, you will contact both parts.
Luckily, the constructive part can help the destructive part, who is longing for love and perhaps raging about all the injustices that have been thrust upon him/her in your lifetime. If it was possible to have a pipeline to the inner self at all times, people would make better decisions, know how to win the favor of others, to solve complex problems and so on. This ability would vary from person to person. The inner self of a scientist is not the same as the inner self of a teacher or a janitor and so on. Everyone has a unique inner self but in a sense their inner selves overlap. This concept coincides with Carl Jung’s collective unconscious. The collective unconscious gives us access to not only our own learnings, wisdom, love and hope, but that of all the great leaders, thinkers and teachers. Weather you have known them or not, within you are all of their concepts, ideas and so on. This is the human story. It is passed on through our DNA, the molecules we are made of. Just as baby bears will automatically know how to catch other animals for their dinner, with a few nudges from their mother, humans instinctively know how to be the best version of humanity that exists– But the primary knowledge of this instinct for making life a pleasure and being guided by wisdom and love is contained in the inner self. I hope you will explore this further if you suspect that hope and other valuable resources, often referred to as “inner resources” will be invaluable to you in guiding your life.

Is Tough Love Helpful, What About Kids Feeling Good…
Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother is best-selling for a reason: Kids are messed up. But it is absolutely not because they have too much self esteem…it is just the opposite. Many say adults, teachers, parents only care about kids having high self esteem. Adults say they did a “great job”, they are given trophies in soccer when they are lousy players… Not sure about that but I know that self esteem means everything for kids as they grow up, but self esteem does not come from telling someone they did great if they actually didn’t . Self esteem comes from merely existing. A foundation of self esteem is necessary for kids or anyone to do well in life, at sports, in relationships….everything. I guess the education system is clueless about how to instill self esteem, in fact clueless about what it is… It is the dignity, love, acceptance that one human being affords another simply because they are alive. It is the road to rapport. Rapport is the basis from which productivity can develop. With rapport we can then expect certain things from one another, from students, sons and daughters. Never make self esteem contingent on how well the child does on a task or test. Instill all the love and self esteem you possibly can, if you want a person to do well at anything.

Being admired for your outer beauty is a fun little ego boost—but nothing sits with the soul like being recognized for your energy. Knowing someone has noticed your goodness and savoured your warmth makes you feel truly seen and appreciated.
Many of us have been measured by appearance, style, occupation, wealth, and other external markers. But these surface-level traits aren’t who we are. They don’t come close to capturing the stunning, unique essence that lives within. The most fulfilling things in life aren’t tangible—so when someone celebrates the unseen expression of your aura, it awakens a deep sense of gratitude.
May we choose to give more conscious compliments—ones that inspire us to value non-physical qualities more deeply. May we celebrate kindness over beauty, generosity over wealth, character over status, and presence over productivity.
The more we recognize and affirm high-value traits in each other, the more we shift the culture. Minds and hearts will be cherished over body shapes. Emotional and spiritual development will be embraced more widely. What society values will move from skin-deep accolades to soul-led praises.
And when someone compliments these deeper parts of you, don’t brush it off. Receive it. It’s not just a nice thing to say—it’s a reflection of your impact, your significance, and your unique contribution to the world around you. Keep nurturing your energy, and allow yourself to be celebrated for it.

To Live with Joy is an act of courage. From book by Dan Millman: Wisdom of the Peaceful Warrior
Joseph Campbell wrote "to go with joy among the sorrows of the world". To some that statement may seem callous. But what's our alternative? A long face will not heal the world. To live with joy in this world is an act of courage.

from "Fragments Attributed to Epictetus"
"Even as the sun does not wait for prayers and incantations to rise, but shines forth and is welcomed by all: so thou also wait not for clapping of hands and shouts and praise to do thy duty; nay, do good of thine own accord, and thou wilt be loved like the sun."

A Folded Up Forest I Carry with Me...
Quote from Women Who Run with Wolves by Clarissa Estes
...Summon up the soul-self. Everyone has at least one familiar state of mind in which to effect this kind of solitude. For myself, solitude is like a folded-up forest I carry with me everywhere and unfurl around myself when i have need. I sit at the feet of the great old trees of my childhood. From that vantage point, I ask myself questions, receive answers, then coalesce my woodland back down to the size of a love note till next time. ...
Unfortunately we are taught to feel embarrassment if found communicating with soul, and especially in places like work or school...Co-mingling with soul causes us to glow bright with spirit, willing to assert our talents, whatever they might be. In that brief but intentional union (with soul) that supports us to live our inner lives ---instead of burying them in the self inversion of shame, fear of reprisal or attack, lethargy, complacency or other limiting reasonings or excuses-----we let our inner lives wave, flare, blaze on the outside for all to see.

“If I did not wear torn pants, orthopedic shoes, frantic disheveled hair, that is to say, if I did not tone down my beauty, people would go mad. Married men would run amuck.”

Auto tune is hurting talented singers
I want to hear human voices, sure tune a note here or there but the producers are using visual lines to tune each note to a perfection that is not human, and if you compare singers before auto tune to ones after it, you have amazing singers who because of SOUNDING human, make me feel fully human when I listen to them. If you sing, consider making your audio with little or no auto tune. Let's bring back human music.

Quote from Marcus Aurelius
"Whatever anyone does or says, I must be good (at peace, ok in my inner being), just as if the gold, or the emerald, or the purple were always saying this: Whatever anyone does or says, I must be emerald and keep my color ."(my true inner being).
