The day before

At 10 pm today, I will begin my journey to Umea Sweden. Despite dealing with a ton of anxiety of traveling to a new place for so long and feeling a bit unprepared, I have settled into a state of excitement and anticipation. I will be studying Sustainable Use of Natural Resources in northern Sweden, starting in Umea. Stay tuned for beautiful scenery and reindeer farms.

Virginia, R U OK?

I am a proud native Virginian at heart, but my god this past week has done nothing but embarrassed me. A democratic administration, and all their leaders are taken down within two weeks. Our governor? Black face?? KKK robes?? he doesn’t fucking know and oh the second in command? 2 sexual assault claims within a week. Attorney general? Ya know, third in command?? Also blackface, except he’s sure of it. Like, who tf dug this up bc I’m starting to doubt the entire system rn.
