Also, I think I hurt my back yesterday while working on my car. I'm not sure how serious it is but it's like that dull pain that just lingers all day so yeah.

Not going to the gym today. I've had some recent life events that have left me more or less sad. If that makes any sense? I just need some time off and I want to wait till I'm back at school and have a regular schedule before I try to get back to working out.

No gym today (but for a good reason)
So I didn't go to the gym today. Not because I didn't want to, however. The reason I didn't was because of recent days that have just been awful, especially at the gym. I needed a day off to just relax and enjoy myself and not get frustrated at lifting. Today is a day of movies and since it's nice out I think I'll be outside flying my drone a bit. Remember guys, it's all about keeping yourself happy. Even if that means that sometimes you have to not do the things that usually makes you happy.

Lift Help
Guys, I need some help. Recently I haven't been able to complete my sets at the gym. Not from lack of trying or exhaustion, but rather just no motivation. Then I just get mad at myself and hate myself for being weak. Could it possibly be something to do with my music or maybe something else?

Here’s an example of a mechanical drop set with the barbell row. Instead of lessening the weight as I fatigue I’ll switch my grip to involve other muscle groups to extend the set. If you’re dragging during your workouts this is a great way to increase the intensity. I’ll post more examples soon.
