hit day 6 today
and for some reason was NOT tired at the end. So I did abs for awhile and then decided to add spiders to the end of the workout. death. dying. death.
definitely feeling how weak my core has gotten in recent months- I can feel it in my back and when I have to fight to hold just a basic hollow position. Not even sure where to go to fix that..I just know I need to.

lifted yesterday which was good. Sundays I spend with the boy and he is religious about sundays being rest days ONLY so...back at it for #nevermissmonday tomorrow!
decided to just start crush60 over again, because of the two week vacation I took. I was really enjoying it, so hopefully the second start at it will be even better.

Finally got back into the gym. I took a much needed break over the holidays and relaxed SO much, but chest day happened! Also saw a guy attempting some handstands and decided to be that person and offer some advice. Hopefully he took it as helpful and not annoying and rude. Who knows!

Goldilocks.
Yessss. Finished day six today and really beginning to feel more confident with the adjustable cable thing. It usually makes me so anxious because I wonder if I set it right- is it high/low enough? Enough weight? Which handle thingamajig do I use? But today it was juuuuust right every exercise. Boom.

Figured since I did thefitally‘s workout yesterday I should try bbbenwilliamson‘s yolodelts today! So many side raises. I felt silly because I couldn't do very much weight because there were just sooo many of them but I finished it off with something I used to do with my gymnasts- basically hold your arms out to the side and circle/flap/twist them in small motions until your arms fall off. The end!

I forever struggle with the line between, “I would really really like to see defined abs (just because)” and “I know you don’t have to see abs outlined to be healthy/ ‘in shape’.”
