I'm a little late, but here's some Merfolk cousins!

I've decided to change up Peyton's menfolk form, changing him to a Whale Shark instead of a Pajama Cardinal fish. Some factors that came to mind is, Peyton is the tallest of the Mer-cast at 6'4 and Whale sharks are the biggest fish in the ocean. Second, Peyton always has a soft spot for sharks and did all he could to learn about them. And lastly, their spotted, which matches with his freckles X3

Then Jay I've made a Fairy Velvet Wrasse, as the color scheme almost matched the one in her halloween costume. Which was also menfolk so, it was very fitting!

I love these silly fish guys and I hope you guys like them too! Happy Mermay and a happy timezone to all!

REBEL SPY IS NEXT, WOOOO!

I've been sitting on this for a long time. I actually started making this as soon as the Rebel spy stickers were announced. The reason why I haven't uploaded is because. 1. life stinks +art block and 2. I was very unhappy with sketch at first. But I picked it back up once motivation came back from vacation.

I noticed that Soheil and Naveed's stickers sort of parallel each other (front shot looking down), so I wanted Eva to parallel Torvin's (back shot looking down.) And I am not the best with back shots, but I pulled through and trust me I will practice more with back shots.

Also since every character took their respective plants from the story, The Orchid and the last seed. It only made sense to make 72 the tree. For Eva, her's is a willow tree (I did my best with drawing it, okay lol), since that's her favorite tree. For context, Eva reads a bunch of earth books thanks to her uncle's high rank. She learned all about different plants and trees and her favorite is a willow and wisteria tree. She even paints all the different kinds of trees in her room.

That's all I have to say for now, I love Rebel spy lots and I'm hoping we can stop the ship from exploding and save the protocol before the dumb council destroys it. Eva is gonna go all out on these guys.

Happy Bugaversary

Happy Bugaversary! Even Charley is smiling!

Now time for my sappy speech because I’m sappy:

I’ve been in the voice acted audios fandom for a while now, and I didn’t really know that there was even a community for it, or several.

And then during December of 2024 I did a Hanukkah writing challenge, and I wrote fanfic for a fandom called ‘Saved By A Merfolk’. I honestly didn’t think much would come of it, and it was a spur of the moment thing, I didn’t even think it would even gain much traction. I didn’t see anything for the fandom so I kind of assumed I was alone in my interest. Heck, I wasn’t going to do it, but I decided to replace another fandom in the final moments.

And I’m so glad I did, because I ended up meeting some of the most amazing people I’ve ever met in my entire life. These people, they inspired me, and they inspire me every single day. Through their art, their writing, their ideas, and even their silly little memes.

Had I not changed my plans at the last minute, I would not have met them. But I’m so glad I did. And I’m so grateful for each and every one of you.

And I ended up getting into Gator Boys and it became this whole thing because then I got into Siren’s Son and Nomads and Mage Bunkshelf and Escaped Audios. And I don’t think anything has ever brought me more joy to this very day than thee people and the Bug Army.

And now thanks to these people, I’ve started drawing again. Really drawing. Most people don’t know, but before I started doing all this art, I traced and did that to make my characters, because I thought that I was terrible at drawing even though I’d not tried to draw without tracing for years. And now I have, and I get told now that my art is good and that’s all thanks to these wonderful people, The Bug Army, for getting me out of my hermit shell. Hell, I voice act now! I would’ve never considered this had I not met them!

All things to say, I love each and every single one of you. Happy Bugaversary my dear Bug Army. I love you all so very much. 💗

HAPPY BUG ARMY ANNIVERSARY!

Decided to make Nash as a magazine cover for Vogue, and it was fun (even if the violin nearly killed me lol.)

So to start, I wanna say I love this community so much! Beforehand, I didn't have a good place to show off my listener Ocs and it was quite lonesome since I had no one to converse with about Obi or Siren's videos. But then, I found this little meme video of the Gator boys by @willowve01 and once they directed me to Tumblr, it sealed the deal. I ran over to my Tumblr and it started this whole journey of finding the Bug army and getting to show off Nash, Peyton, Avery, etc, getting to see other people's ocs and finding a bunch of amazing people. It's been a hell of a ride that I would gladly ride every single time. Thank you all for being amazing people and even more amazing friends!

Thank you to everyone in this community for the love, support and inspiration to keep doing what I'm doing. I wish nothing but the same back to you and here's to the first anniversary of the Bug army!

And also a thank you to Reedmace, for creating these silly characters and bringing them to life!

So, here's more as promised (Note these are just what animals I'd think they'd be just based on their actions/personalities) Plus trying to keep it simplified like the characters is a fun challenge too.

I'm gonna attempt to do the Merfolk cast next time, Zef, Sera, Erick and Mr. Wood. So wish me luck on those guys.

Welp.... I didn't expect this to be what I was drawing atm but here we are! XD

So, yes I've gotten into Chiikawa (Mostly because of Jaiden but the Bug army discord inspired me to doodle these.) and honestly, I love these little guys a lot! They're just so silly in their own little world!

I've watched a few episodes and I'm planning on watching more soon, but for now! I decided to make Sky, Ava, Konrad and Klay into Chiikawa characters! Why?

Well I wanted to try my hand at the art style and I thought what better way then to try it on Obi's characters!

(I am gonna struggle with Zef and Sera, my god...)

The next batch will include, Ray, Mercury, Nathan and Timmy, so wish me luck lol

got another ref done, this time of my Non-binary hoe Avery! ^^

So, time to share some facts about Avery, since I don't talk much about them.

They have three pet ferrets, their co-worker was going to release them due to them being a nuisance, However, Avery managed to get a hold of the three before that happened. Of course, they had no idea how to care for ferrets but some videos and talks with other ferret owners helped and now they love three three noodles. Avery named them, Fuzz snake (marked white), Fluffy booty (Sable) and Pip (blaze). The three even have their own room in Avery's home.

Avery is a bit of an impulse buyer and buys collectables for themselves as well as sending gifts to their parents and 4 siblings. (They are very observant and buys thing they'll know you want/need, and they won't take no for an answer.

They loved to parkour a lot as a kid and teen, being able to leap and run was something they did a lot due to how much energy they had. Avery had to scale back after their shoulder injury but they still work out.

Avery isn't the best cook, either being distracted or forgetting to set a timer. Most of their food has burnt, so they order out most days. But won't stop them from continuing to try and make something edible.

They are also not a big morning person, Avery usually works afternoons to night shifts. They tried to wake up early and ended up oversleeping. Even when it's a full 8 hours, they just can't get up.

If they text you, you'd better understand emoji language cause they'll just send a bunch of them and think you'll understand it. (Very chaotic X3

Avery has Imposter syndrome. Feeling the need to help others and do everything themselves. Not because of their parents (they have very supportive folks) but they just feel guilty asking for help or oversharing their trouble, since they think they can handle anything. Which of course took its toll on them more than once but they'd never let it show unless you push them a bit.

If I think of anymore facts, I'll update here but for now I hope you love my chaotic gremlin!

So, not an art post but mostly a hobby collection thing I'm trying to accomplish.

I'm bad with words, but to get to the main point.

I love Pokemon and I love this little creature of Noibat and Noivern, and I'm planning on collecting all of their Pokemon cards. I'm made this as a sort of check list to ones I have and don't have yet.

Most idk where I got them, others I got at card shows and three are ones my brother gave me, since he knows I'm collecting them.

There's no real point to this other then me sharing my progress but I thought it would be an interesting share.

Like Peyton, I'm working on some full body (Sort of with Matthew lol) reference sheets. Gives me some chances to add some details to my characters that I've been meaning to add. ^^

For Matthew, he wears his parents wedding bracelets all the time. Since both of his parents are dead, he wears them wherever he goes to keep them close and remember them. (mostly his father since he never met his mother.) Also showing off his massive burn scars, I'm planning on doing a back shot of him soon ^^

Also with Jackie, to show off her lawyer attire as well as giving him earrings and necklace (which Sky gifted him.) Plus that Jay sometimes wears a binder.

Just small things I wanted to add that gives them more... Character I guess (words are evading me XP

Either way, I hope you guys like these and expect more in the future ^^

I was gonna draw my answer but motivation is not here at the moment so I'll just answer in text.

SO, thing is I want Tero to be a bastard, especially when it comes to half-bloods. He's a dad and mama's boy and both his parents are ruthless when it comes to half-bloods and he took that to heart.

To the scenario, he would pretend to be thankful and gracious. Like full on acting! However, once they let their guard down Tero is trapping them and brings them to a farm or to the arena. He never wants to be indebted to a half-blood, as he sees that as the lowest of lows. So, you can't be indebted if ya ship them off.

Again, I just want him to be a bastard. Only time he isn't (fully) is with his siblings (minus Nash) ^^

So I have decided to add in another character to Nash's story, who will be a bit of an ass to him. This is Tero Chasen, son of Howard and Lisha and half-brother to Nash and Agnes. A year younger than Nash.

No one knows that his father is in fact Howard due to how well Howard covers it up and for him to being using his grandfather's (on Lisha's side) last name.

Despite this, Tero knew his half-brother was Nash after his father's early retirement from being a hunter. He does train Tero but it lessened as people around Aakahn were asking if he would have Nash step up. Thus began a resentment Tero formed towards Nash that never went away. As he saw how bad Nash was, when it came to training as a hunter. It took away many days with his father and he was left training himself until he returned.

As they got older and Nash worked at the library and Half-blood stables, Tero would often mock Nash a lot. Citing he was doing pathetic work and hanging around with low-life half-bloods. He Tok pride in knowing he was excelling in becoming a full hunter while Nash took care of the scraps. (in his words)

Despite his hatred and spiteful attitude to Nash, he loves spending time Agnes and his younger brother Harvey. He doesn't hold resentment to Agnes as she just lost her mom and never got to meet her. Happily going along with the white lie (That Lisha and Howard made) that they are full blood siblings.

He often hangs around with Tony and Sparky, and they have a great friendship. Seeing the younger man as on their level and one who'd make even Lady Cerci proud. Also, they would often tease Nash as well (For them it's light teasing but for Tero it's not.) starting up the nickname, Nashy. Which often annoyed Nash but he ignored it. However, he was left wondering why Tero always picked on him, since he'd never interacted with him beforehand.

Then we get to Gator boys story and the picture below has a bit of blood and brotherly angst, so fair warning but that and the story will be below ^^

Tero encounters Nash and Timmy in Silverben, when his snare, traps Timmy. The two argue, with Nash telling Tero to leave Timmy alone and Tero gets defensive thinking Nash was stealing his catch to impress Howard.

Timmy gets confused but tries to defend Nash, which then makes Tero spill the beans that Nash works with the hunters. Putting the half-bloods in stables in their place, giving them false hope and trying to be nice then turning the next. Even shoving and grabbing Nash's tooth necklace and trying to get Nash to explain what it means for a hunter. Nash again tries to get him to stop but he tells Timmy himself.

Telling that a tooth necklace means you've killed a half-blood and wear it's tooth/claw as a trophy. Even showing his necklaces that have four teeth. In turn making Timmy question in disbelief and betrayal if Nash really killed a half-blood. Which landed with Tero getting punched in the face after he said Nash did so without remorse. Nash telling him to shut up as he didn't know what he went through but then Tony and Sparky pinned Nash down and soon tied him up after Tero gave a twisted version of the previous events.

They leave with Timmy and Tero stays behind to taunt Nash one last time. Revealing they were in fact half-brothers and how he was sick of how their father favored someone as weak as Nash. Citing he belonged in the swamp with the freaks and was no William. Nash was in denial about the two being brothers but he snaps that the Gator folk treated him better than anyone in Aakahn and that all he wanted was a family that loved him for him.

Thus Tero just laughed and called Nash nothing more than a disappointment and burden before slicing Nash's cheek and a chunk of his ear with his spear. Tero states he was always better then him and before leaving states he'll take good care of Timmy, but won't make any promises if he dies in the arena. Leaving Nash bleeding and experiencing a bad anxiety attack.

So yep, that's Tero. Feel free to punch him ^^

Goldenrod; Encouragement, Good Fortune: Encouragement to Nash, to keep doing what ha wanted to do. He doesn't need to follow into his father's footsteps to become someone worthy. And a little good fortune to help along the way.

Thyme; Courage, Strength: For standing up to his father. To tell him they are only related by last name. It takes courage to stand up to someone when what they're doing is wrong. But also to stop running from your own problems and face them.
