Hi all! Back with updates once more - to tldr, I'll be back to posting semi-regularly very soon!

Would love to know if people prefer a schedule for posts (such as a post is made every friday/etc) or if you'd prefer to see things as they're finished... if there's no consensus, I'll just queue things and let it happen.

If you're actually interested in my personal life, I'll describe how the past month has been for me, once again a CW for loss of loved ones / death and illness!

So, my family member passed at the end of February. It took longer than hospice staff said it would, which made things complicated, but it wasn't out of the blue by any means. I don't do well with death, so I took a lot of time to myself to try and process with it while also dealing with stuff like funerals and cleaning out of personal belongings.

Family life is currently very tough still, but I think I've taken enough time to grieve and start working towards some level of normalcy again.

I'm very thankful for everyone's patience during this time, and for all the kind wishes I've gotten. :)

Small updates!

Thank you to all the friendly anons and asks in my inbox, you’re all very kind. I promise I’ve read your messages even if I haven’t replied yet.

Things will be a bit slower for the next week or two - I can’t give concrete dates for when things can get back to normal yet. More info on my personal situation is under the read more.

General cw for death and family loss due to illness again!

Basically, my family member in hospice has started contacting distant relatives and family who live out of state to tell them now’s the time to come visit ‘for the last time’. This was out of the blue and without any discussion, so… been dealing with that little surprise. :’)

I’ve got additional responsibilities on my plate at the moment because of these visits from other family members, and I really need to put my energy towards that and my own mental health. I don’t handle grief well, and it’s already pretty difficult with everything else that’s happened in my life the past month.

As of two days ago, My health has also had a little problem that I’m trying to juggle with my other responsibilities. My recent test results were not what me nor my doctor hoped for - it’s rough, I won’t lie!

I do feel bad for not getting more done, even if I know I shouldn’t. I know it probably seems like it should be easy to send messages/replies out, but I’m incredibly low on spoons as is that I’m just trying my best. I still do little work here and there on my writing, but it’s really slow. I’m terribly sorry to everyone waiting on me, and I’m thankful for your patience still <3

What do you do to decide your matches? /genq

Well, anon, let me introduce you to my unique kind of autism. (Read more because it's a long text)

Aside from just having a lot of knowledge about general info of the enstars cast and being a mushy little romantic, I try and keep in mind relationship dynamics I like as well as what the person I'm working on the match-up for wrote.

As weird as it might sound, I like to just think about each character's general role in relationships and can picture the things they'd like and enjoy about their partner(s). Like that's what I think about as I fall asleep each night lol

But, as I said previously, I also keep things such as Typology in mind... which leads to me looking at something I created.

Basically, I keep spreadsheets for my special interests - Enstars included. I organize all sorts of info just for fun, even if it's mostly useless, but I find it to be incredibly entertaining to do :)

But, specifically, on one page of my spreadsheet for Enstars, I built a little compatibility calculator inspired by Son's - going into further depth and with some different values.

(The example gif has my info in, just to show how it sort of works. Select what ages you'd want included, and what inputs to keep in mind when calculating the average percent.)

Most of the character info comes from PDB, which I happen to not be the biggest fan of for Typology, but I don't want to retype everyone myself until I'm more confident in my typing abilities. In general, it is a HEAVY wip, I want to add even more than what's in there already (Son's uses more Zodiac stuff, which I want to look into for sure!)

I use it more of a quick reference for certain information than as an actual 'calculator' or anything like that. Percentiles are subjective, plenty of resources disagree on who is more compatible with who - really, it's all for fun!

Circling back to your question: The sheet comes into play with my matches after I start off with a list for 4-5 characters just based off of my own thoughts. Then I'll check to see what you may have in common with the characters, etc, etc, then go from there to narrow down and pick your final match.

Dramatica is honestly a treasure! I wish it was more connected to mainline enstars/accessible to people outside of the JP fandom so that more people could see it and get to know the unique stories!

I've watched Act 1 (all in one sitting) and Act 2 (in various bits and pieces from different places), but I've only seen two clips of Act 3 (Ibara during the Tea Party and Madara's entrance/intro moment) thus far.

Act 1 is my favorite, but I just really love Natsume and Shu's roles in it (wink)

Like most Shu fans that I've seen, I really appreciate Taiki's dedication to playing Shu so well, but Gaku's Nagisa and Ryo's Arashi are exceptional! I've also watched 3 of the Extra Stages, which I also really liked.

I always feel guilty for watching bootlegs, especially because I want to support the works, but I intend to one day own the DVDs! I have... a long journey collection-wise between wanting to own all of the Dramatica acts and all the Starry Stages, but I will get there some day. ;w; )/

Nazuna wasn’t expecting to meet ‘someone’ at University… but lo and behold, he catches himself getting excited about going to the class he was blessed to share with you every week.

It all started when you ended up sitting next to him in one of his Gen Eds. A few weeks in, you noticed the mobile game he was playing, and it turned out you played too! Your friendship blossomed from there.

At first, you just chatted during class, discussing your favorite characters from the gacha game you both played.

You didn't seem to know too much about his idol career, or at least didn't make a big deal out of it, which was really refreshing. You started meeting up to get lunch before class, then walking in together.

As great as it was to spend more and more time with you... Nazuna wanted to see you more than just one time a week.

So he'd invite you over to his dorm under the excuse of 'studying', and eventually he got more comfortable just asking you to hang out whenever he was free.

He was the one to insist on getting your schedules for the future semesters figured out so that you’d share at least one class a week. Just so he can work on group projects with someone he knows is reliable- Y'know, since working with random people is a pain! That's all! Nothing more! (he is lying.)

The rest of Ra*bits were Nazuna’s cheerleaders when it came to him figuring out how to confess his feelings to you. He didn’t want to be too showy, or demanding… or just smother you with all of his feelings at once. He knows what it’s like to get out on a pedestal by the person who loves you.

He ended up waiting until after Valentine’s Day - Ra*bits had filmed a cooking show segment on making a few different chocolate flavored pastries, and he used those skills to prepare a little treat basket for you to give to you right before mid-terms.

In a note he included how appreciative he is on you and your constant support. He loves your company, is so grateful to have you as his friend, and wanted to let you know how he really feels. He’d accept your answer with no question.

To his delight, you felt similarly! After a quick talk about keeping your relationship secret from the media, you became a couple!

Of course, Nazuna’s lovely little rabbits all love you - once you were formally introduced. Some… more than others.

Hajime watches you like a hawk, and gave you the “If you make my Nii-chan upset, I’ll end you” look with a chilling smile on his face. You’re pretty sure he could crush you like a bug, but you don’t exactly plan on hurting the boy you love, anyways.

Oh, and Koppe… Nazuna melts watch you play and hold him. It’s two of his favorite things at the same time, and it really warms his heart to see that you get along so well with his precious baby. Koppe has started doing binkies when you come to visit him!

Study dates became a weekly occurrence, it gave the two of you private time to cuddle together while also being productive. Nazuna would apologize for not doing something more romantic, since he’s spread pretty think between his idol work and keeping up with homework.

You start getting snuck in to the green room whenever Ra*bits has a live performance, Nazuna always jumps right into your arms and gives you a kiss on the cheek when they’ve finished up. Seeing you there, knowing you saw him perform, and the fact that you’re such a big part of his life… it just excites him so much to have someone as supportive as you are, he doesn’t know what to do with himself sometimes.

I know tone in written text can be tricky, and I tend to initially interpret text harsher than people usually meant - so I try to give people benefit of the doubt when I can ^^;

Tone tags, in general, is a tricky subject since it differs from person to person. I personally think it's never bad to use them, but not everyone will.

Typically, I use tone tags when I'm worried I might come off as rude or harsh when I'm trying to be clear/explain things or ask questions that I'm not sure if they come off negatively when it isn't my intention (so, /gen, /genq, and /nm are usually the ones I use)

You had a bad dream.

Or, well, bad only started to describe it. Abandonment, panic, true isolation and being helpless... it was overwhelming.

Your eyes open wide, sitting up as you gasp for air - heart pounding in your ears.

"Doll?" Mika mumbled, rubbing his eye sleepily as he too sat up.

You didn't think you had done anything that would wake him up, especially given the fact that you were pretty sure he couldn't even see you given his night blindness.

But Mika had a sixth sense for this sort of thing, he could tell when there was something wrong with the people he cared the most about. And he could tell you weren't okay.

Taking you into his arms without another moment to spare, he holds you close in hopes to soothe you.

"Shh..." Mika was used to comforting the other kids at the orphanage when they've had a nightmare - so he was used to this kind of thing.

"... Hey, yer okay." he whispered softly, rubbing your back in slow circles as you bury your face in his . "I gotcha, Darlin'... I'm right here. I gotcha."

He lets you take a few moments to catch your breath, his fingers running through your hair as he hummed.

As the minutes passed, the tension eased, and you finally feel calmer. When you pull back to look at him, Mika is smiling.

"There ya go..." His voice was so gentle, full of tenderness that he held for you. Mika presses a kiss to your forehead, "Ya wanna talk about it, Doll?"

You tell him a bit about your nightmare, all the while Mika held you. Once you felt ready to go back to sleep, you yawn and sigh.

"Ah- hold on."

He blindly pats to the side of his head, searching for something - one of his plushies, the cat one he fixed up with you recently.

"Even if I can't always be there to keep ya company when ya have those no good dreams... this lil' guy will be." Mika gently pressed the stuffed animal's face to your cheek, making a little kiss sound.

The rest of the night you slept peacefully, with Mika spooning you, and you holding onto the plushie.

As Mika drifted back to sleep himself, he nuzzled into you and sighed contently. He loved you... so much. "... 'm gonna make sure ya never feel alone again, Darlin'... I promise."

Hello hello! I saw that there was one more matchup slot open and was like “hey, don’t mind if I do!”

So… about me. I’m a 19y.o. transmasc person (he/they). I’m a Pisces (cusp Aries) sun, Aquarius moon, and Capricorn rising, my MBTI type is ENTP, and my enneagram type is 8w7. I stand at 160cm (5’3”). I have shoulder length naturally wavy (I straighten it) strawberry blonde hair that I highlight with platinum blonde. I also have hazel eyes, pale skin and freckles.

Generally I dress in a mix of business casual and gothic aesthetics, combining stuff like your typical button-up shirt/dress pants combo with combat boots and long jackets/trenchcoats. Also tying bows around the neckline of collared shirts in the place of a tie, or wearing a bejeweled tie. I’m also quite the fan of blazers haha. In terms of jewelry, I usually wear cuff earrings (my favorite being a silver snake that slithers up my ear), and finger armor style rings, or ones that are designed to bend with your finger. I also do wear makeup, but usually it’s only eyeliner, and then a bit of eyeshadow and some rhinestones near my eyes in a color that matches my outfit.

I’m a sophomore in university, majoring in music with a concentration in vocal performance. I’ve been taking private vocal lessons since I was in elementary school, and music has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I’m also an amateur composer (although my teacher does say I’m a mature writer for my age, which is something I’m definitely proud of, hehe.) I’ve also been an actor since I was small, so I spent a lot of my formative years on a stage, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Although, I will definitely say, growing up in the entertainment industry and around so many people I grew to idolize made me a bit of a perfectionist in regard to my own work. I hold myself and anything that I make to a very high standard, but that’s because I want to see it be what I know it can be. I’m also a bit of a busybody since I’m almost always performing, composing, or working on college work. I do love it, though! Every day I’m always improving my craft, and working closer to finally being the musician I know I can be.

Outside of my professional life, though, I’m much less uptight, especially regarding myself, although music is still my lifeblood. I was on my debate team in high school, too, though. In terms of non-music related hobbies, I enjoy roller skating (I go every week), drawing (markers are my main medium), writing (I’m working on a gothic horror duology, but I also roleplay, literate to advanced lit), playing games (I also play Magic: The Gathering biweekly), dancing, and visiting museums (art exhibits or historical houses, there’s some preserved mansions nearby the theater where I work and perform nearly every day, and they’re my happy place, I go on my birthday nearly every year). I also read tarot, and I have a collection of crystals that grows by the day haha.

Some favorite bands/artists from outside of Ensemble Square would have to be Laufey, Frank Sinatra, Kaya, The Mechanisms, Evanescence, Dreamcatcher and Ali Project.

My love language is primarily compliments and acts of service, especially as I’m growing more comfortable around a person, since it takes me a second to be comfortable with being vulnerable without the safety of the stage lights and a role to feel safe behind. I’m more comfortable with hugs once I know someone well and we’re both clearly comfy with the idea of it. (Also, late night texts, usually driven by creative ideas.)

Shu: INTJs tend to get along exceptionally well with ENTPs, providing deep and meaningful discussions and generally understanding each other far more than other MBTI types do. It’s definitely a slow burn, but once that fire starts it’s going to be impossible to put out. Even if you do something to absolutely infuriate him, he’ll be adamant on letting you know rather than ignore you or brush it off.

He loves your creativity, especially in the various mediums that you enjoy, and the passion you have for music as a whole will spark that initial attraction.
