Maha Prajña Paramita Heart Sutra
Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, doing deep Prajña Paramita, Clearly saw emptiness of all the five conditions Thus completely relieving misfortune and pain. Here Shariputra, form is no other than emptiness, emptiness no other than form; Form is exactly emptiness, emptiness exactly form. Sensation, conception, discrimination, awareness are likewise like this. Here Shariputra, all Dharmas are forms of emptiness: Not born, not destroyed; not stained, not pure, without loss, without gain. So in emptiness there is no form, no sensation, no conception, no discrimination, and no awareness. No eye, no ear, no nose, no tongue, no body, and no mind; no color, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touch, and no phenomena. No realm of sight, no realm of consciousness, no ignorance and no end to ignorance, No old age and death, and no end to old age and death, No suffering, no cause of suffering, no extinguishing, no path, no wisdom and no gain. No gain and thus the Bodhisattva lives Prajña Paramita. With no hindrance in the mind. No hindrance, therefore no fear. Far beyond deluded thoughts, this is Nirvana. All past, present and future Buddhas live Prajña Paramita And therefore attain Añutara-Samyak-Sambodhi. Therefore know Prajña Paramita is the great mantra, The vivid mantra, the best mantra, the unsurpassable mantra It completely clears all pain. This is the truth not a lie. So set forth the Prajña Paramita mantra, Set forth this mantra and say:
Gate Gate Paragate! Parasamgate! Bodhi Svaha! Prajña Heart Sutra.

Mountains and Rivers
The sound of the stream
Buddha’s long, broad tongue
and the form of the mountains
his pure body
10,000 verses through the night
In the morning how will I explain this
to others?

The Bell and the Blackbird
The sound of a bell
Still reverberating,
or a blackbird calling
from a corner of the field,
asking you to wake
into this life,
or inviting you deeper
into the one that waits.
Either way
takes courage,
either way wants you
to be nothing
but that self that
is no self at all,
wants you to walk
to the place
where you find
you already know
how to give
every last thing
away.
The approach
that is also
the meeting
itself,
without any
meeting
at all.
That radiance
you have always
carried with you
as you walk
both alone
and completely
accompanied
in friendship
by every corner
of the world
crying
Allelujah.

10 GREAT PHOTOGRAPHY QUOTES FROM HENRI CARTIER BRESSON
Tumblr media
Sharpness is a bourgeois concept.
Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst.
The picture is good or not from the moment it was caught in the camera.
While we’re working, we must be conscious of what we’re doing.
We must avoid however, snapping away, shooting quickly and without thought, overloading ourselves with unnecessary images that clutter our memory and diminish the clarity of the whole.
Of course it’s all luck.
As far as I am concerned, taking photographs is a means of understanding which cannot be separated from other means of visual expression. It is a way of shouting, of freeing oneself, not of proving or asserting one’s own originality. It is a way of life.
You just have to live and life will give you pictures.
During the work, you have to be sure that you haven’t left any holes, that you’ve captured everything, because afterwards it will be too late.
Think about the photo before and after, never during. The secret is to take your time. You mustn’t go too fast. The subject must forget about you. Then, however, you must be very quick.
Photography has not changed since its origin except in its technical aspects, which for me are not important.
What reinforces the content of a photograph is the sense of rhythm – the relationship between shapes and values.
Photography is nothing–it’s life that interests me.
…it is seldom indeed that a composition which was poor when the picture was taken can be improved by reshaping it in the dark room.
