you're given the chance to CHANGE one hockey rule, ADD one hockey rule, and REMOVE one hockey rule to the NHL.

what do you do?

I'm going to be honesty I don't know all that many hockey rules to begin with so uhhhh this is going to be interesting

For the sake of the players I'd change it so that any hit to the head, intentional or not, is a 5 minute major (minimum. I'm open to hearing a case for immediate ejections and/or suspensions). We need to get head hits out of the game.

A rule I would add. Hm. That's difficult because, again, I'm not all that familiar with the entire rulebook. Since I can't come up with something else on the spot I'll say whenever a goalie gets a penalty he actually has to sit the two minutes. Not sure if the team is allowed to switch a player with the backup goalie, or if the players have to defend the net like in an empty net situation, but that would be fun. And it's not like it happens all that often anyway so it's not going to have an impact on most games.

I'll remove puck over the glass. That's such a silly penalty. I genuinely don't think teams would start chucking pucks over the glass for fun since the faceoff would be in their own defensive zone every time.

Brady Tkachuk - Tusk by Fleetwood Mac

This isn't really lyrics based though I do think "don't say that you love me, just say that you want me" could fit for him. But the rhythm and music of the song really encapsulates to me A) his sort of leadership vibe, the way that he cares so much and will drag this team to the playoffs so help him god and B) the general chaos and confusion that was the sens this year

Alex Ovechkin - Elephant by Tame Impala

Mostly because I saw a really good edit of him to this song before but I do think it fits his vibes really well. Again not so lyrics based, though some could work well but to me the song matches the energy of the way he's been chugging along all these years, hard to stop (for the most part) and breaking records, very hard to ignore.

Adam Lowry - Moderation by Florence and the Machine

Coming out to the world as guy who's fond of Adam Lowry. It's not a perfect bit but I do think it works well, to me he seems earnest in that way that means he's not going to bother hiding a lot about his feelings. Also something something the way that the more physical fighter guys on a team will show love is through fighting other players through their teammates, there's no moderation in that.

Perfect timing as I started my first ever DnD campaign this week!!

Okay first I'm picking Stromer because of course I have to, he'd get really into it I think, a big strategy and puzzling things out guy, Lawful Neutral or Good for sure. I don't have a perfect role for him in mind but just to throw one out there I'm going to say half elf wizard maybe?

Okay second I will be choosing Darcy Kuemper because I do feel that his "I will find a way to bring back the dinosaurs" energy will be incredibly entertaining. To me he is a High Elf Warlock these are his vibes.

Third I am taking my beautiful boy Marty Party Fehervary, worlds chillest guy ever, he's just hanging out, unbothered, connecting with the animals of the world. To me this is the easiest choice ever he would be a Hill Dwarf Druid absolutely no question.

And finally!! I'm choosing Nicolas Aube-Kubel, I think he'd be perfect for this, he's full of whimsy and mischief and a bit of violence. He will be a Halfling Rogue, just a little guy.

Anyways with the group I think we'll be fairly effective during campaigns, mostly though Stromer corralling us on but I'd have such a blast I feel.
