Aro's Munday's question of the week:

Imagine your character(s) walking outside while the weather is hot. What they would do if they feel hot? E.g. ice cream, water, go outside to the place with air condition, etc.?

Depends on theyre type!!

Like for instance, Reshi would be alright I imagine. Fire typing allows for tolerance of extreme heats, but she would still need a cold drink to keep hydrated haha.

Zapdos would be one to go out in as little layers as possible, drenches himself in water to keep cool or keeps a damp towel over his shoulders.

Lugia/Ryuki is the same way!! He would wear something real casual and drench himself XD he is rather casual underneath all the honorifics and grace he usually portrays. He would just swim all dayyyy, stay nice and cool 😎

Palkia would enjoy a little shake and stay somewhere with air conditioning. I imagine it wouldnt be hard for her to cool herself off if she wants,,,,but,,,space goddess does alot so she is entitled to be a bit lazy sometimes XD

Tornadus would just make a breeze to keep himself cool! If it was just hot air though he would grab some water and chug it LOL

Types like steel and ice would be dying though XD Dominic and Articuno are characters who would do everything they could to stay inside or stay somewhere cool. Water? little fans? they got it. Ice packs and towels. Theyd make a little cold cave to hide in.

How long had it been since he had stayed in this room?

Dust sat on each surface, worn toys littered about in various states of disrepair. Lights flickered, the dim glow casting more shadows than helping him see. Something beneath the surface of his heart writhed,

His breath constricted in his throat, hands grasping tightly on the stone he had retrieved from old ruins. He pictured it in his mind, rather than the infernal room he stood in.

Smooth and dark, a powerful entity shackled within it.

He left swiftly, resolve hardened. Together, they would both release the bonds that held them, and that of Unova’s as well.

The two looked at one another, then back at the king. Yellow orbs stared at both thteir expressions, noting the slighest change in each of them.

“Please…” The elder asked. “We only ask for a home.”

“A refuge from our nation’s blades.” The younger added. “We want to offer a place for those tired of the monarchy.”

The king thought for a moment, considering their words, their tones carefully. With an exhale of hot air, he responded.

“I am in your debt, and I shall oblige. You will have a home, so long as man can bear each other’s burdens in my presence.”

Fingertips left his hand, and for a moment he stood there missing the heat that drained from his skin.

He sighed, a loosided grin on his face as he watched her walk off.

“You look positively flustered.” He jumped rather quickly, turning to see the face of his dear friend approaching. She laughed, a light sound that echoed across the hallway. “Isn’t that one of the maidens who travelled here from Galar?”

“Yes, she um…she is from Galar. Why do you inquire dear friend?” She smirked, placing her hands on her hips as she looked at him. “Don’t start lying to me now, Prince. You’re smitten!” His eyes widened, causing her smile to grow.

“No-Keep your vouce down!” He started, but was unable to hush her giggles. “You were positively glowing!! How can you tell me you aren’t?!”

Litwick watched from the sidelines as the goddess took about reorganizing her dresser, watching with curiosity. Reshi had set about cleaning the tower, her current goal to clean her room before moving on to more important ones. The pokèmon watched as she took out a long case and a few more odds and ends.

“Lio?” it chimed, and she turned to look at him.

“This? It’s incense. My visit to my student recently introduced me to it.” She replied, taking one of the sticks out and lighting the end with her fingers. “He said it was fairly common and used for various things, so I bought some and took it home with me.”

The aroma that wafted was sweet, spiked with a thorn that was unusual to the pokémon, but not unwelcome.

“Lit Lo.” Came his voice again, causing the goddess to laugh. “Well next time you can choose a different one, how about that.”

What is your character(s) favorite ice cream? Or they prefer other cold treats other than this?

hmmm, i dont think most characters i have would have tried ice cream 🤔 Buttt I can imagine most of them liking it.

Reshi prolly would like vanilla ice cream ngl, vanilla is a comfort flavor. Tornadus would enjoy something more like sorbet, while Thundurus would enjoy Pistachio and Landerous would like Rocky Road!!!

Giratina would love black cherry me-thinks, anddd Palkia would like cotton candy funnily enough haha

And lastly I think Articuno would prefer just snow cones of various flavors while Zapdos would want Spumoni ice cream haha. Thanks for the question!!

One word meme: Forgotten

As they stepped through the rubble, the pair were careful to only move where they could see. Flames licked the walls, the light they gave flickering among the stone walls and floors.

“Are you certain we should continue further?” One turned towards the other. “Things could get more dangerous here in.” A hand rested on a blade, and yet his face held concern.

“Yes, who knows what else lies here?” The other replied, lifting the light higher. “Don’t you feel a strange sadness here? There’s too much we can’t miss.”

The former sighed. He couldn’t disagree. Something within the cave felt familiar, and yet long forgotten. Abandoned by time.

As you are walking, something crunches beneath your feet on the dirt. Looking down, you see an old sheet of parchment, thick and damaged, worn by time.

Upon closer inspection, the paper seems to have been torn from something, it’s edges singed and crusty. Arceus knows how long it’s sat unattended for.

The symbols are strange, yet you swear you have seen them before…

Upon seeing the giratina, Reshi tenses up slightly, a memory floating to the surface. She shakes it off, giving Galadriel a nervous smile.

“I appreciate your eagerness to help my training, Let’s get started, shall we?”

Destino: Alright Reshino. You're training. I'm training, though I don't see why I have to. They say it's for this whole "saving my world" thing but I don't see why I have to go through it. Enough about that. Perhaps you should hit me with your best shot. Then again, an absol like yourself doesn't seem all that powerful. Like, do you even know night slash?

A part of her knew where the absol was coming from, but before she could empathize, they stopped her with a taunt.

“An absol?” The mere thought offended her in some way. “An absol?! I? An absol? Is that what you take me for? Is that what you see?” Flames spewed from her trident, holding it up high. The sureounding area geew to an almost unbearable temperature. “An absol am I?! An absol indeed!!” Sarcasm dripped as sparks flew from the tip of the weapon.

Reshi used Fusion Flare!!

The area is now in flames!

“…Oh, my apologies,” she says, helping the absol up. “I got carried away!”

Imagine your blogs are video games. Which genre do you think fits them?

Hmmmm that’s a funny question considering that the blogs are based off of video games XD

But ti answer I’d say that this blog has Zelda vibes, adventure/puzzle genre lool, with an overarching story that precedes the blog’s events, a legend if you will. Magical and mysterious with an age old comfort you can wrap yourself up with

Shimmering Tidepools gives me Visual Novel vibes cus honestly it’s where I go to show off my other chars from this world LOL It…really diesnt have a plot, mostly little stories you get to look into. Each pool of water is a glimpse into the same world, yet a different perspective of it, all flowing back to the ocean eventually

Distorted Diamonds is hack n slash, dark souls survival of the fittest. Dark and gritty “Hey you, you’re finally awake” frozen wasteland with secrets hidden that you unearth through bloodshed. It’s not pretty, but damn you have fun experiencing it
