I am definitely late to the party but I just finished reading On the way to the wedding.

And I am s p e e c h l e s s.

I am not kidding when I say Gregory had me crying with how purely and intensely he loved Lucy, finally a man in this series that doesn’t have anger management issues. I love them all (..almost) don’t get me wrong but he was so refreshing to read.

And Lucy. Pure, smart, kind, fierce Lucy, who was ready to sacrifice her own happiness for the people she cared about, i couldn’t love her more if I tried.

This is easily my #2 of the series after Romancing Mr. Bridgerton, it exceeded all my expectations. ♥️

Gregory Bridgerton is often over shadowed by his brothers, so here’s why he deserves a special place in our hearts and is a total cutie:

• Most 26 year old men would have no interest in finding love- Gregory believes in true love so much he literally convinces himself he’s in love because he’s so excited to find it

• He’s so sweet and considerate to his sister in law Kate, he’s also rightfully a bit scared by her (😂)

• He’s the cutest drunk

• The man sat in a tree for hours waiting for a secret signal from the woman he loves

•Literally sprints across London, crashes a high society wedding (prime minister was in attendance) and declares his undying love 🥺💔

•Never treats women (especially those he loves) with anything less then kindness, even when Lucy went ahead with the wedding he never lost his temper or allowed her to be spoken about with contempt

•His older sisters laugh at his attempts to protect them, making him even more protective of Hyacinth- you can tell how much he loves his little sister

•He has the sweetest personality and sense of humour

•Fathers nine children and the love/pride he has for all of his children and Lucy literally bursts through the page

• After one failed attempt, crashes a high society wedding reception, kidnaps the bride and attempts to annul the marriage because he knows there is something going on despite his family telling him to leave it

• Gregory always misses his shot, but he doesn’t miss when it comes to protecting Lucy

• Literally willing to die to save Lucy

• Has nearly a big an appetite as Colin (something that should be applauded)

• Depsite being overshadowed and left out by his brothers- he has nothing but love respect and time for them

• Is the only member of the family who would go head to head in a fight with Hyacinth

• Loves his mother more than anything

Just over all a complete cinnamon roll and deserves more attention from the fandom 💕💕💕
