your mutual who exclusively makes vague posts about games and food (something you CANNOT find anywhere else) had a funnier idea for a new blog.

had a really fun idea for a conlang while writing some other unrelated junk, but didn't really think it through until now. the idea was about a real unique spoken language that relies on a marble kept in the mouth to create sounds that wouldn't really be possible or convenient otherwise.

but like if two people speaking this language got into an argument they'd both choke on the marble instantly, and god forbid they even have a weak sneeze

don't know why i did this but i muted the original video, activated the pop-out player and spent 40 minutes watching it on loop in front of a train pov video while listening to the least understandable album I have ever experienced - Most Extreme Ultimate Thunder by Magic Hammer - and it gave me the worst stomach ache of my life.

As somebody who isn't in the same timezone, reading this is like finding that one set of discarded note pages which is in every single game about time travel.

I didn't draw much last year. I didn't really do much at all last year. Sure I made thumbnails for my youtube channel and 4:3 fills for the game footage used in said videos, but I feel like I can do more. Like I can do better.

So here's to my year of improvement, 2024.

I'm not really a big fan of late 90s - early 2000s italo disco, instead listen to it for an even more embarrassing reason. I keep clicking on these albums and mixes which're over an hour long just because they all use the biggest glitteriest golden lettering you could possibly imagine.

Simply lay face down on the floor, and boom its that easy. You'll be facing that direction all year, so you'll just kinda slide over to a longitude-area where that works.

When I first saw this, I could have sworn it wasn't a picture of a lizard - instead I was 100% sure that it was a drawing of the side profile of a creature that looked like a sock puppet. I was confused but just said "Alright, I mean I guess a lizard's face could look like that too."

If you see a sock puppet creature too, copy the lizard's name from up in the first post and search for pictures of it. It was like a magic trick for me to come back and instantly see the lizard and not the sock puppet.

I've been on a spree lately playing early access games and I love it because it makes me feel like I'm in the early 2010s era of Jerma videos. The games are alright but they always have the least usable UI you could possibly imagine

robocraft 2 is getting reviewbombed for being an early access game by people with 0.1 hours played. If only they had spent 5 hours making a bus, then they would have given the game a positive review for sure
