A laugh left his lips when he saw Jason’s reaction to him throwing the peas. In his defense, Percy couldn’t help it. It just seemed right. After a moment, he managed to stop laughing, for the most part, and he cleared his throat, wiping at his eyes as he looked at Jason.

          “Aw, sorry man. I thought you said throw them. I mean, look, I even got some of them on your plate and there are some in your hair so you can have a snack later.”

Percy wasn’t usually one who started food fights (though if asked around enough, one would find that he was the reason food fights had been started), but Percy was with his family. It was weird to think of all of these people as family, but they truly were and they had more than earned the title.
