We may not be able to convey the truth of the genocide in the days to come.
I hope everyone who sees this will share it as widely as possible.

Senators are going to vote on whether or not we should continue to send aid to Israel on Wednesday, November 13th. Call them, bombard their phone lines with calls. Every fucking day. We have a chance of doing something about this.

posts about the alt-right pipeline being compassionate towards young men while radical leftists shun and shame them are not fucking saying "the men are becoming violent because feminists are too mean!" and if that is your takeaway you need to get off tumblr until you've better honed your critical thinking skills.
those posts are talking about how effective the language and approach you take in your activism can be. this is literally cult deprogramming 101. if someone is being taken in by a violent or dangerous group, that violent or dangerous group is usually offering them compassion and solace while working hard to convince them everyone else in the world is their enemy. you are under no obligation to coddle or act compassionate toward these men and their violent ideologies, but if you have the means to try, it is something that you can do to make a tangible difference.
radicalized people are often only one loving friend or family member or external voice away from being de-radicalized. of course that is not always the case, but it very often is. a lot of y'all rightfully understand that you do not carry the burden of being that voice, but a lot of y'all also have a lot of internalized ideas about morals and punitive justice and have simply written off these people as deserving of only the worst and not worth saving.
ten years ago, my grandmother was a fox news watching republican who voted red in every election and very well could have fallen down the qanon rabbit hole if not for me and her daughter challenging her compassionately, walking her through hypotheticals that validated her feelings & proving why they were false, & being patient with her despite our extreme division in political ideology. it was frustrating fucking work! but i decided i wanted to do it, because i could see the horizon and i could see me making a difference!
"misogynists have been saying feminists are too mean for years, get new material" that is not the fucking POINT. the point is that you, feminist, can be the compassionate voice that guides your brother, your father, your cousin, your grandfather away from fucking becoming or staying a nazi. you can show them compassion and companionship. you can be the woman they think of when their alt-right bros try to convince them that women are the enemy. and you can choose to crystallize that image of yourself so wholly in their mind's eye as worth protecting that they may very well choose to reject those harmful ideas.
it's not saying you HAVE to do it! it's saying you CAN do it! don't you 'firebomb a walmart' people all love taking change into your own hands? where the fuck is that energy right now, huh?

just because something is justified doesn’t mean it’s moral or that it can’t lead to negative outcomes. I feel like leftists constantly ignore this distinction between the “theoretical” morality of an action and its actual consequences.
-hoping that things go to shit just for the sake of the schadenfreude of leopards eating faces. Wouldn’t you rather that bad things not happen? Isn’t the whole premise that it will be terrible and inhumane if these things happen, yet you still wish them on others for the sake of petty revenge? “yeah but the difference is that they deserv—” please read the first sentence of this post
-bashing on majority groups (e.g. cishet white men) bc you have been wronged by them, leading to them feeling alienated and seeking a place that actually welcomes them. I’m not saying that you have to be nice and engage with people who anger you; everyone has different levels of patience and emotional bandwidth. But there is no moral obligation to vent your (possibly quite justified) frustrations and spread negativity, especially to people who are just uninformed. Sure, it’s good to combat misinformation and harmful beliefs. But you won’t convince anyone with vitriol, and just silencing them is a band-aid fix at best. Similar to a parent harshly punishing a child without trying to understand them or explain what they did wrong, it won’t necessarily stop the behavior. Instead, it will just make others hide it around you and be too scared to ask about it.
-I feel like people don’t want to acknowledge that bad people are still people, not monsters. And I’m not saying this like “nooo don’t be mean to the bigots 🥺 ,” I mean it very literally in that we are all humans with the potential to fall into the same (structure-wise, not necessarily content-wise) biases and thinking patterns. Ignoring this will just make you unable to recognize when you do harm, and unable to understand why others think and act the way that they do. Most people that you hate probably don’t think of themselves as a bad person. Conversely, good people are not immune from doing harm. Insisting that committing any harm makes you a bad person leads to a suffocating environment that doesn’t allow for mistakes.

Can you even believe that we are nearing 11 months of active genocide and the only thing that’s changed is how much people care and are interested in being advocates for Gaza (I am watching you all lose interest in Palestine with my own eyes)

Please Share Or Replog Or Donate to save my life
🇵🇸🚨
I hope everyone can donate and share my story:
The occupation carried out a large massacre in the camp where my family was displaced, where my child was playing with the children 💔
My heart stopped for a few seconds and I went like crazy looking for him among the martyrs and wounded lying on the ground. I began to see my child in every child lying on the ground bleeding. I saw a child who looked like my son Yazan. I was about to faint from fear, but my child was not my child. I found him with our neighbor who was his father-in-law and calmed him down from the scenes. Which he saw.
My children are in constant danger
My children deserve a better life
My children do not sleep at night because of the sounds of bombing and fear
Save my children, we are tired and jealous
I hope everyone will donate and participate
🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

My family consists of five people, and each person needs $5,000 just to get out of Gaza, and needs other expenses to reach the safe country.
Help us, we need you to spread our story to the world

🚨Urgent🚨
🚨Help my family and I to evacuate Gaza and stay safe.
Hello, I'm Fahmi from northern Gaza.
My family, consisting of seven members, and I are currently displaced Rafah area in the south .
We are now in a small tent, very scattered, with no safe place, and my elderly parents need medical treatment, which we cannot afford.
We only have unhealthy food. Everything we had was destroyed by the occupation, My home, my family’s home, my car and my job.
We no longer have hope for living a safe and happy life. After losing hope, intense frustration, and great sadness as a family who hopes that we live in healthier environment and a life we deserve , we decided to leave our country and travel to start our life from scratch outside Gaza so that we can live a happy and safe life so we can ensure secure future with a happy life in which there are no wars, hunger, fear, displacement, and heartbreak.
However, I will not be able to do that without your assistance and support. Don’t make escaping from Gaza impossible
Every donation will help my family and I to survive.
