⌜SARANG⌟ °. ☾ —‌

 IT  WAS  frustrating  that  every  time  she  left  the  institute,  there  were  downworlders  all  over  the  streets.  this  has  become  too  much,  and  the  running  hate  she  had  toward  them  almost  pushed  her  to  start  a  fight  or  two.  most  of  the  time  sarang  held  off,  but    when  they  APPROACHED  her  first,  it  was  harder  to  hold  back.  now,  she  still  had  to  abide  by  the  rules,  the  so-called  peace  between  shadowhunters  and  them.  but  that  didn’t  mean  she  couldn’t  have  any  fun,  right? the  girl turned  around to make  eye contact with  the speaker, and immediately  saw and felt  the  presence  of someone  that was precisely  what she hated the most—a  downworlder. it was hard to  focus on the question, her eyes  squinted in disgust, and she had to  bite her tongue before saying that she  truly  wanted  to say.

after  one or  two  mental  pep talks  that took the  span of a few seconds,  and swallowing some comments  she wanted to say, the shadowhunter  remembered the question at hand. “  7-eleven,  huh?  i don’t  know specific…directions  to them because there are many   just  scattered around, even near city  hall. ”  the  girl had  trained with  the best combat  fighters in the world  just to protect regular  people, mundanes, from these  creatures. however, here she was,  asked to give them directions to convenience  stores.  this was  more than enough  in her opinion. “  are  you new  to the city?  ”

when the nephilim turned around, lillian let out a quiet huff, a small smirk suddenly appearing at her lips. she could feel the shadowhunter’s negative energy towards her, and her presence clearly was rubbing them the wrong way. lillian couldn’t help but react to it and egg the shadowhunter on a little bit for her own amusement. why not? she had the time. ❝ hm... new, old. it’s all relative. ❞ she answered, avoiding a direct answer to even the simplest question, while eyeing the healing rune tattoo on her neck. ❝ that’s a pretty tattoo... not as pretty as me, of course, but — ❞ lillian involuntarily mumbled, ❝ — anyways, you can at least walk me to city hall, can’t you? surely a shadowhunter like yourself is capable of at least that... i’d hope. ❞

⌜OPEN⌟ °. ☾ — she’d been reading the local newspaper on her phone on the way home late at night, when the screen suddenly went black. she let out a groan when it’d finally died, realizing she was nowhere near where she needed to be when she looked up. this wasn’t the first time--technology was still so new to the century that she couldn’t help getting distracted. she reluctantly pushed herself out of her comfort zone to ask someone with her back to her in the darkness. she’d gone a long time without having to ask for help but was new to the city, so this was pretty embarrassing, and annoying for her.

❝ hi, excuse me? sorry to bother you. ❞  she paused suddenly, realizing the energy they gave off wasn’t human, but kept a straight face as to not arouse any trouble or give her faerie identity away. ❝ so, uh. i just was wondering if you happen to know directions to a 7-eleven around here, near city hall. do you happen to know the way there? ❞ she wondered if she was talking to a wall, hoping the other would turn around and save her the trouble of wandering around for another hour.

everyone just calls her lillian, lily for short

she’s a 255 yr old faerie. very exciting life, they pretty n powerful n shit so go off ig

has been v adept with faerie magic and elemental magic since she was young

so just don’t cross her now aHa

stayed in the faerie realm for ~40yrs then got tired of it and went across dimensions, has settled in the city for a while now but is always the type to bounce around and travel

has (1) sibling that they love dearly, and is likely the only person that truly knows her to her core and they have matching forget-me-not tattoos. (if u wanna fulfill that connection H M U ;) )

PERSONALITY

not the type to go up and say hi to anyone at a party or anything CrAzY like that bcs shes probably busy judging everyone there

cold like winter. probably will tell you she hates you but that’s gr8 bc it means she loves you enough to hate you

much more of a thinker than a talker and is not a woman of many words

speaks with actions. i.e. may not know how to comfort you but sends flowers/a gift at your door to make you feel better

is really perceptive and intelligent, can generally get a read on people very quickly

lowkey nerd, like typical brainiac fact-spitter. will correct ur ass so fast

loves learning new instruments and languages 

hard to gain her trust and keeps people at surface level but is fiercely protective of the people she loves

can be vERY unapproachable but if you talk to her about herself or facts about something she’s interested in for long enough she might fall in love with you or something

in general she is very comfy with just sticking to the shadows, being alone, and being a wallflower and it hasn’t gotten her killed yet so yknow what they say--if it’s not broken don’t fix it !

truly loves herself more than anything in the universe, is probably looking in a mirror right this second

has a lot of fun screwing with people every now and then, but will uphold a facade of innocence ‘til death 

faeries cannot lie in general but she twists her words, creates double-meanings and tells half-truths more than the avg to get around it if it will benefit her

her wardrobe is pretty much all black, with some deep reds, and dark blues

she is comparable to that emo goth girl in high school that thinks she’s too cool to talk to anyone 

overall just.... broody n quiet, loves herself, the color black, and learning new things !
