Note
I enjoyed reading your fanfic. I've personally headcanoned Afton separating from the suit in some form and regenerating, becoming human again, and acclimating to modern society, so it's really cool to read. Thank you for writing this.
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!!!đŸ™đŸ»đŸ˜† I also love the idea of him trying to change and fit in once again
repenting for his mistakes and starting anew! I am so thankful that you enjoy it so far, because this just motivates me to continue it.

I really don't want to come across as rude or anything, but could you possibly add a readmore to your "Change Me" chapters? It makes looking through some tags really difficult 🙏

CHANGE ME CHAPTER FIFTEEN:
The car ride to the store was the definition of awkward.
After telling William about 'the glitch', he turned away from me and just stared out the window. Not once muttering an apology for my now purpling wrist.
When we got there, we went our separate ways until it was time for us to pay. Even then, the only sound between our silent beings was the beep of the items being scanned.
When we got back home, it wasn't any better. We still had not said a word to each other.
William didn't bother helping me with groceries or even taking his things. As soon as I dropped the bags off inside, he dug through one that had his pack of cigarettes, grabbed them and went right back out slamming the door behind him.
Jumping slightly, I sighed as I put away all the groceries.
Grabbing William's and my toiletries, I took them to the bathroom setting them down in our designated areas. As I did, I winced as I set the shampoo down on the counter.
"God damn..." I whispered holding my wrist delicately.
Looking down at it, it had turned a bluish hue and it was swollen around my hand.
What the fuck is wrong with you...?
Grimacing at the ugly injury, I heard the door suddenly jerk open.
Me expecting a slam followed by the aggressive entrance, I was surprised to hear a pause before the door shutting softly.
Walking out of the bedroom hesitantly, I was ready to face an angry, stone cold man. But I was greeted with a side of him I wasn't expecting.
Sitting on the couch, head in hands, sat a slumped and weak looking William Afton.
"William?..." I asked softly, taking a seat next to him. "Talk to me..." I told him, extending my left and non-injured hand to his shoulder.
Pulling his face away from his hands slowly, he looked at me. His face looked dead. Not the charismatic and animated man he was nearly two hours ago. It's colorless hue made my skin prickle at the sight, the deep instinctual fight or flight was registering in my body, yet I picked freeze. His head turned to me very slowly, and as his dagger like eyes locked onto mine. I now saw they deceived his appearance. They were deep and tired looking. They were filled with a monsoon amount of emotions. That I could nearly see churning, not knowing which one would lash out next.
Acknowledging the fact I was looking right at him he snapped his head down, completely ignoring the hand placed on his shoulder as he grabbed my right hand from my lap. Flinching slightly in response, his eyes flicked to mine. Just or a second they looked broken. But once again glazed over and a bland expression painted his face.
He examined my swollen wrist. Turning it over in his hands, he was careful which was stark a difference to his cold looking exterior.
Biting back the pain, I just sat and watched and William ran his large, rough fingers over my skin.
"....sorry...."
My eyes opened wide as I heard those words.
Looking up at his face, I once again saw the minute amount of regret in his eyes, yet without speaking a word, his presence said more than his saddened glances; furrowing my eyebrows, just one thing came over me.
Pushing William's hand away, I engulfed him in a hug. Sitting beside him his body frozen in shock. But once it sat in, he reached around my shoulders and hugged me back.
It shocked me that he returned the hug, but not as much as I think it shocked him.
Pulling away from him silently, I gave him a kind smile as he stared back at me in bewilderment and curiosity. But he broke his gaze as he looked down at my wrist once again.
William stood from the couch and muttered, "I'll be back." As he made his way to the restroom to look around for something.
I watched him as he padded away from me and took a moment to process his reaction. But not before I touched my shoulder of my jacket and wiped a single wet tear off.
As he walked back to me, I noticed he had some of my athletic wrap for larger injuries.
For as much as I wanted to tell him I was fine with out it. I didn't want to offend him or make him angry, so I sat there as I watched him try and help my swollen wrist.
Kneeling down, he took my hand from my lap which made me wince in pain, but William was more focused on getting my wrist wrapped than the ten seconds of pain it caused to move it.
Pursing his lips in a fine line, he sighed as he unrolled the wrap and tape and applied it to my skin. As he did, I watched his movements carefully. Once again studying his expressions and body language.
He was methodical, never stuttering or halting in his movements. It was graceful, as one action led right into the other. His hands held me steady as he worked. It was such a simple task, yet by him simply performing it, it seems like it has been rehearsed and polished. It was like that for every movement.
As he finished wrapping my wrist, he put his hands on his knee and let out a low sigh.
"Done." He muttered, grunting as he stood up.
"Thank you..." I mumbled with a slight smile, "I... I appreciate it." I told him honestly.
"No, I suppose I at least owe it to you for your wrist in the first place..." His voice was low, like he was trying to not sound or make himself look guilty.
"It’s fine, I can still breathe, so I’ll be okay. But
thank you William, I'm sorry for not telling you immediately... I should have... especially when it involves you. I mean, this is why you are here..."
William looked up at me, his face still dark.
“We’ll talk about that later, you had said you needed to stop by another place, Yeah?”
Nodding my head in agreement, I stood up.
“Yep, Let’s get you a job.”
Pushing open the convenient store doors, the bell announced our entrance.
Standing behind the counter was Aarush who waved excitedly at me and William.
“Hi Ms. Y/N! Back so soon with a friend!” He gestured to William who stood behind me, a stern but forced smile spreading across his features.
“Hi Aarush!” I smiled, “Yes I know, but I thought it would be a great opportunity to stop by
this is my friend William, and he along with me worked at the Fazbear’s Fright attraction which burned down. So I was wondering if you still had possible positions for William here too
” I asked.
Smiling looking over to William he nodded his head, “Yes! Of course! A friend of Ms. Y/N is a friend of mine!” He chimed.
Sticking out his hand to shake, William returned it with a charming smile and kind looking eyes which were dead looking a moment before.
“Pleasure to meet you sir, yes Y/N was kind enough to give me a recommendation here
are you still looking for any new hire Mr. Aarush?” William asked leaning his elbow on the counter.
Watching the two men have a conversation, I studied William’s mannerisms. He was cool, and I don’t mean he was cool...like in that cool shirt
I mean his aura radiated coolness. His demeanor was calm, confident and collected. The way he interacted and how he spoke to other people, he was professional about it. He spoke Knowledgeably as business man in him showed through his person.
“Well Mr. William
”
“Miller! William Miller.” The Brit smiled at Aarush dashingly.
“Well Mr. Miller, both you and Ms. McMillin will be starting tomorrow!”
“Oh fantastic! Thank you so much sir, I truly appreciate this opportunity Mr. Aarush.” William boomed. Firmly shaking Aarush’s hand with a smile.
“Yes, yes of course! I’m excited to work with you both, Now you both have a great day, and I’ll see you tomorrow at noon!”
Both waving bye to Aarush, we left the Seven Eleven. With a smirk, William walked to the drivers side of my car and opened my door with a smug look,
“That was probably the most unprofessional job application I have ever had.”
“Ha, why Mr. Miller
what did I tell you, that’s why I recommend it!” I smirked getting into the car as William shut the door and got into the passenger’s side.
“Did you pull ‘Miller’ out of your ass then and there, or is that a name that has been floating around in your head for a while?” I inquired.
“I’m just quick on my feet darling.” William sighed, getting adjusted in his seat.
“That’s a good thing
” I stated pulling out of the parking lot and pulling onto the main road.
“I would say so too,” He responded back.
~William~
The drive once again, wasn’t long. It almost became redundant driving back and forth all day.
Once we got to the apartment, Y/N went ahead and walked to her room to do some chores, as I offered to start up dinner.
Sighing, I headed over to the kitchen and opened the freezer. I gazed at the sad few items that lacked to fill the icebox.
Grabbing a pizza, I tossed it on the counter, setting the oven before calling out to Y/N
“How’s pizza sound darling?”
Silence

“Fine
well we are having pizza anyway
” I mumble.
After awhile, the pizza is already done and go ahead and set the table to get everything ready to go ahead and eat.
“The pizza is done Y/N!” I called out, which I was I was once again met with silence.
It was like she wasn’t even here. To think about it, I hadn’t heard her walking around for
 well
 since we got home.
Walking down the hall to her room, I nicked on her closed door.
No response. Figured.
I tested the handle and turned the knob,
“Y/N?”
Opening up the door all the way, laying in the middle of the floor I was met with an unconscious Y/N.
“Bloody Hell
”
~Y/N~
Everything was in flames. Looking to my right I could see William. He lay flat on his back convulsing as mechanical claw like hands dug deep into his body and ripped the vital organs from his being.
To my left I could see myself, body being drug by what looked like Springtrap before the attraction burnt to the ground. As he drug me, he stopped by a ledge, chucking my unconscious or dead body over it.
Staring in horror as my gaze flicked between the now dead and torn apart William and where ‘I’ had been thrown. But once the mechanical rabbit turned around he locked eyes with me.
“No
 this is just a dream
” I whispered, trying to convince myself and my growing heart rate.
“No it’s not...” The rabbit said tilting his head to the side, as if he were watching me amusingly.
“What do you mean?” I asked quietly.
But in a blink of an eyes the rabbit now grotesque and monstrous grabbed my throat and screamed.
“IT’S A WARNING”
I awoke screaming. Sitting up in bed pushing myself all the way to my head board. Beginning to cry, I hugged myself in a ball as I heard hurried footsteps come down the hall,
“You’re awake
What in the damn world has happened?” William came to the side of my bed, what looked like confusion and genuine concern painted his face and he looked at my scared form.
As I tried to speak no words came out. I heaved and whined as I began to panic more.
Watching me, not truly knowing what to do, William crawled onto the bed and hesitantly brought me into his embrace.
Not having anything else, I clung to him like a child. Burying my face in his shoulder and chest, I tried to heave a coherent sentence.
“G-Gl-Glitchtrap
 Glitchtrap
” I cried. Soft tears slid down my cheeks as William began to sush and lull me to calmness.
We sat there like that for a couple more minutes until I regained my breath. But my neck and throat felt as if they had been crushed.
Pulling me back to fully look at me, William looked at me with wide eyes and trembling hands.
As I tried to rasp out a question, only sounds of a gurgling “what?” Came out.
“How did he
? How was he able
?” William began to ramble.
I opened my mouth to ask a question, but William was quit to stop me.
“Don’t talk Darling
 it
it wouldn’t be your wisest decision right now.”
Looking at him in confusion, I jump out of the bed and push past him to see a mirror.
He choked me, he did something to my neck when he choked me.
Meeting my reflection in the mirror, large clawed cuts were imprinted into my neck and a reddish-purpling pool of space was beginning to form.
“Holy shit
” I rasped

Backing away from the reflection in front of me, I walked back into my room looking at William with wide eyes, which he returned as I approached me to inspect the injury bracing my neck.
“How did this happen?” He asked.
“He grabbed me
”
“But it was in your dream
I mean, no one was here! I saw you on the floor passed out so I put you in the bed, but not even ten minutes later, I find you like this
”
“We are dealing with spirits William
they have more power than you realize. I don’t even remember passing out. I was doing chores and then
well...” I gestured towards myself and my condition.
He made a reluctant grunt and shrugged his shoulders at me still inspecting my neck.
“Here
” Guiding me back to the bed, William sat me down as I watched him with curiosity in my eyes as he walked to the door of my room.
“I made Pizza Darling, if you are still hungry I can bring you some along with some water.” He said looking back. But before I could answer, he was already on a mission to the kitchen.
“I guess I’m having pizza
” I muttered.
I touched a hand to my neck, it was sore to the touch but I could now swallow without a problem. It was the damage on the outside I was worried and conscious about.
Coming back into the room with a plate of pizza and a cup of water filled to the brim, William sat down my meal on my nightstand and looked at me expectantly,
“Thank you
” I spoke softly. A small genuine smile graced me lips as I looked up at the Brit.
“You’re welcome
” He sighed walking to sit on the edge of my bed.
Grabbing the plate, slowly began to eat. Just opening my mouth hurt, if felt like my jaw wouldn’t even open passed half way.
But as we sat, silence enveloped us. As I ate, William stared down at his feet, hands clasped together tightly, making the white of his knuckles show.
Taking a sip of water, William perked his head up, but even with the sudden movement, he was hesitant to speak,
“You know
” William began, “He’s going to come back
and whatever happened, or saw in your dream. It will happen again.”
“I know.” I simply stated setting down my glass.
“He told me this was a warning
”
“Well this was a fucking warning!” William exclaimed sarcastically.
“Hurting me wasn’t the warning though.” I said looking up to the older man who turned to me with a confused expression.
“In the dream
you had been torn open and gutted, these mechanical arms taking you apart, then, the
Glitchtrap
he threw me over an edge or some kind of some kind of drop. Then that is when he saw me watching
” I spoke solemnly recalling the disturbing dream.
But to be honest
it didn’t feel like one. It felt real.
Way.
To.
Real.
William’s face darkened. His eyes dropping back to the floor. I could see the gears turning in his head as he contemplated what I just told him.
“We need to stop him
” I whispered, staring into nothingness along with William.
“Or he’s going to kill us
”
As the night went on, William sat in the the living room watching tv and intermittently went out to smoke or take a short walk before coming back and do the same thing over again. Whilst I worked on concocting a plan to stop William’s other half and spirit Glitchtrap.
After about four hours of non-stop reading and writing on how to stop an evil and harmful entity. My brain felt as if it were pulsating.
So getting up from my bed, I made my way to the living room.
Sprawled comfortably on my poor excuse of a couch, William was intently watching tv as I came into the room.
“Whatcha watching?” I asked curiously as I saw action scenes and intense fighting scenes on the scene.
“Some detective series
I never really heard what it was called.” He said turning to me.
I nodded as I glanced a the screen then back to William.
I wanted to sit down, but from already the small area the couch had, William wasn’t making the space any bigger.
Sitting on the arm of the loveseat, William cocked his head to the side and let out an exasperated sigh, “You do know you can sit on your own couch yeah?” He asked me tauntingly, as if I didn’t know that.
“Wow, I didn’t think about that
” I retorted not even bothering to look at him.
“The attitude is unparalleled
watch your tongue in might fall off with all that poison.” William sneered.
“Don’t worry I drink it for breakfast, if my tongue’s going to fall off, it already would have.” I said looking over to him. “Plus, I would sit down if there were room, but it doesn’t seem like there is so the arm works.”
Rolling his eyes and grunting, William sits up and scoots over for me to sit down next to him.
Crossing my leg over the other and fold my arms over my chest. I tried to slink into myself. Separating my body from William’s as much as possible.
But alas, that proved to be a sufficiently harder task to do than said.
His long arm was placed on the back of the couch and he also had his legs crossed, his ankle laying its weight on his knee.
Finally I just accepted it and let my body get in a more comfortable position.
Curling up a tad, I rested my head on the arm of the couch and let my eyelids flutter close. Tiredness weighed me down even though the fear of destructive nightmares plagued the back of my mind. I wouldn’t let that win me over. I needed the sleep for tomorrow anyway.
As I listened to the tv and the almost inaudible breaths from William became a foggy concoction of sound that was the last thing I could hear as I slipped into a dream like state.
~William~
I looked over to Y/N who was passed out beside me, it had been about a thirty minutes since she fell asleep and her breathing had finally slowed to a less shallow state. Her arms were wrapped around her body. Her frame looking even more delicate in an unconscious state.
Turning down the tv, I turned my body fully towards her. Studying her face and every expression that crossed it.
She was fascinating
.
I had never met someone so odd
 yet so interesting.
Someone arguably frustrating
yet so kind. Too kind

Someone so naive yet so clever

Not even the dumbest of people would have done what she did, have someone like me in her home and she slept peacefully beside me.
Vulnerable and unpreventable

But that is where my predicament lay. She was so easy to read
yet there was something still hidden from me. Like she put it under lock and key and didn’t want me to see.
Though, I couldn’t tell you what it was or what I was trying to find
I just knew it was something.
I had to know

But then Y/N stirred. It started out as a little jump, but as I focused on her face. Her eyes were wild under her eyelid and her breathing increased. She kicked out her leg and began to mumble and moan as if she was trying to ward something off.
“He’s back
.” I thought as I watched her thrash now kicking me in the process.
“Y/N wake up
” I called.
She still fought.
“Y/N!” I said again, stern this time grabbing her kicking feet as I reached her to shake her awake.
Yet no matter how hard I shook nor spoke she wasn’t waking.
Her voice from earlier rung in my mind,
“We are dealing with spirits William
they have more power than you realize.”
That’s when it clicked.
He’s not going to let her wake up.
Grabbing Y/N I held her head in my hands as she began to wail unintelligible words.
Well, all except for one

“William.” She rasped.
Eyes wide with panic setting in I began to yell.
“Get out of her head!”
Get out of her head! You are apart of me! Not her!”
As I yelled, tears began to pour down Y/N’s cheeks, me face contorted and becoming red.
As I watched, cuts began to form along her shoulders, blood trickled out of them running down her arms.
“Bloody Hell
!”
Grabbing Y/N, I threw her into my arms and I rocked her back and forth, near chanting.
“Get out Darling
.wake up

“Get out Darling
Wake.up.”
I continued to hold her, running my hands down her hair, my shirt soaking in the blood that ran down he arms. I put my face right by her ear just hoping that she could hear my pleas,
“Please Y/N
 wake up.”
Suddenly, knocking back against my chest Y/N awoke. Gasping and crying she begun to push away from me which I grabbed her torso and pulled her back down.
“Get off me! Stop!”
“Shhh! Darling please it’s just me!” I spoke as calmly as possible as she thrashed against me.
After she realized where she was, she whipped her around, staring into my concerned silver eyes.
“William
” Y/N began to sob. She crumbled into my arms and cried into her hands.
Sighing I set my chin on her head and rubbed her back as she cried, rubbing circles on her back.
“Darling
I really didn’t think you would wake up there for a second
” I nervously chuckled not truly knowing what to say.
“I- I almost didn’t
” Y/N hiccuped, “I heard you calling me
” She looked up wiping her face.
Looking down at her, she looked horrible

She looked pathetic.
Puffy eyes gazed at me with such vulnerability. Her small blood covered body shook with left over adrenaline.
I couldn’t help it.
I pulled her back down into my chest, silencing her surprised protests.
“I’m covered in blood and so are you
” Y/N murmured.
“Let it be
just relax. You nearly died, I would not be worrying about my shirt.
Regaining her breath, Y/N finally let her full weight go into my chest and let her muscles relax.
Tucking her head into my chest once again, she let out a small sigh.
“I’m sorry William
”
“Don’t.” I simply said.
“Don’t?” She said with inflection, which I knew accompanied a raised eyebrow.
“Don’t be sorry.” I spoke with finalization. I didn’t want to have a conversation about this. She almost died yet, she was apologizing. It was annoying and simply unnecessary.
After sitting in silence for a couple minutes, I lifted Y/N off my lap and sat her on the couch.
“We are going to need to get those cleaned up.” I said turning my head to her with a solemn glance, looking at the gashes that littered her arms.
Walking back to the bathroom to get cleaning supplies, I turned on the light and was met with a disheveled and for any normal person, a disturbing reflection.
Blood coated my white dress shirt. It was seeped into the fabric creating macabre patches of color that was blotted along my torso and arms. Looking into my eyes, they were darker than normal. The silver was a steel grey. The darkness under my eyes was beginning to show as well, bringing my appearance together in a sickly looking one.
Realizing my grip on the counter before me, I sighed, running a hand through my ashy hair and continuing the task I came in here for to begin with. Before leaving the bathroom, I once again glanced at the mirror, and to be honest
I expected to see a horrifying being or reflection to appear. Yet, I was still by myself.
Though that is usually a relieving thing, it didn’t seem to settle with me.
Because, though I didn’t see anything, I could feel the eyes of pure evil staring right at me.
~Y/N~
I sat on the couch dazed as I stared into the wall. My arms covered in dry blood, that tugged on the wounds every time I moved.
I shivered having the chills you get right before you fall ill.
Though I wasn’t getting sick, I was exhausted and just plain hurt.
Coming back from the bathroom, William carried a variety of cleaning items and medication for me to take.
Kneeing I’m front of me like he had done prior to this, he opened the peroxide and put it on a wipe,
“This is going to burn like Hell.” He spoke seriously as he put the sizzling like alcohol on my first gash.
It did burn

But it wasn’t the worst pain in the world. Plus I really didn’t want to show my discomfort in front of William.
I focused on controlling my breathing though my face of pain was clearly shown through my pursed lips and furrowed eyebrows.
“Nine more to go
” William muttered as he wiped the access blood from my cut.
“Fantastic
” I muttered, earning a low chuckle from the older man.
“Told you, it burns like a bitch
”
“Mhm
” Was the only sound of acknowledgment I could muster without breaking my facade of tolerance.
As William worked his nimble fingers over my skin, I watched him. His laser focus was intent at the task at hand, completing encapsulating his attention.
I gazed at his face, his eyes were locked and his lips stretched in a thin line. His hair slightly falling over his eyebrows, though he didn’t seem to care enough to move it out of the way.
“He is so fascinating
” I thought, my mind completely zoned in on him.
Slightly shaking my head to rid of any odd thoughts, William began to finish up bandaging my arms.
“Alright, you’re brand new
but I’m going to be honest, those are going to leave marks. They were relatively deep, but not deep enough for stitches.” William sighed standing up still examining his tedious work from a different viewpoint.
“Thank you
 truly William
” I spoke gratefully. “Thank you for pulling me out
”
Looking down at me with for once, a soft smile,
“You’re welcome
I can’t just let you die
that would make me look way to suspicious.” He laughed.
Rolling my eyes at his halfhearted answer, I nodded in agreement.
“Yeah
that would suck to get caught at this point
especially when you are probably the oldest thirty-something year old out of all the thirty-something year olds.”
“Thirty nine.” William said pointedly.
“Okay, oldest thirty nine year old I have ever met.” I put my hands up in admittance of being wrong.
Shaking his head, William then looked at me for a moment, his eyes felt as if they were zeroing in on me and every feature that showed was under heavy examination.
“What?
”
“Oh nothing darling, truly
” He said, snapping out of his trance.
“You really should wash off, but of course be careful of the bandages, even though they are water proof.” He told me with an authoritative tone, even though he spoke as if it were a recommendation.
Nodding, though I didn’t like his tone, he was right. We both faired a shower and especially with the fact we had work in the morning.
“Alright, I’m going to head that way and after I’m done, you can then go ahead and jump in too.” I said walking down the hall.
As I walked to my room, I heard William yell one more thing,
“And please try not to die while you in there!”
After our showers, I lay staring at the dark ceiling as William lay on the cot by the foot of my bed. We went to bed rather quickly, but I refused to go to sleep.
Noticing my constant tossing and turning, William made a comment to my predicament.
“I wouldn’t sleep either
”
Slightly surprised at him still being awake, I sat up slightly to peer down at his form.
“I don’t know if I can go back to sleep
at least not until we stop him
” I mumbled.
“Well you are going to have to sleep at some point Y/N. Your body will end up making you if you refuse.” William said matter of factly.
“I know that
but once I do, I might just not wake up.”
“That might be the case
” William whispered.
Closing my tear-welled eyes William continued.
“But I’ll be here to wake to up
”
Smiling at his words, I would admit, they gave me false comfort. Even though they really shouldn’t have. I barely woke up the last time. But I truly was too tired to continue to think about it. So I believed him and I kept my eyes closed.
“Thank you William
I’ll try not to die
”
“You’re welcome
and yes, try not to die Darling
”

CHANGE ME CHAPTER FOURTEEN:
Letting out a small yawn, I had read yet another chapter waiting for William to get out of the bathroom.
"My poor water bill..." I said looking at the clock on my phone. "It's been and hour."
Sighing, I shrug off my slight annoyance. I mean, he hasn't showered it thirty five years, so I'll give him a break this time. But tomorrow... all bets are off.
Finally after what felt like an eternity, William opened the bathroom door with an ambiance of steam behind him.
"You wanna help me pay for that water bill?" I asked as I William stepped into the room with a towel around his waist.
"So what's my surprise?~" William asked impatiently completely ignoring my annoyance and giving me a wide, shit eating grin.
"First, put these on." I said handing a pair of  black sweat pants, underwear, and a white t-shirt to William.
"Is this not good enough for you Love?" William asked, feignedly hurt, gesturing to his shirtless and... well everything-less body.
Staring the man in the face, I simply answered, "No."
Even though inside my head, I couldn't help but slightly stare at the man's scarred torso and dangerously low and trusted towel. Fighting the rising heat that threatened to blush my cheeks as my increased heartbeat that felt so loud, it would give my me and my bluff away.
Responding to my not so concealed staring, William smirked wider than usual, as he took the clothes and walked back to the bathroom without another glance back. When the door was finally shut, I let out the subconscious breath I was holding.
"God damn..." I whispered to myself, feeling a childish pink arise on my cheeks.
Shaking my head, I scolded myself for letting my eyes trail like that. As I did, William sauntered out of the bathroom in his new clothes as if he were at a fashion show.
"What'dya think yeah?"
"Looks fantastic." I said calmly no longer looking at him as I once again picked up my book to read.
"I haven't looked this effortlessly sexy since ninety three!" He preened as he went to examine himself in the bathroom mirror.
Quietly scoffing, I rolled my eyes as I got out of bed pulling out a folded cot and sleeping bag from the side of my bed.
Coming out from gawking at himself, William continued to slick back his hair as he watched me set up his makeshift bed.
"This is one hell of a surprise..." William uttered sarcastically.
"Would you rather sleep on the floor?" I asked, irritation laced in my voice.
"No, no.... This is nice...Five stars even!" William said snidely.
"Doesn't get any better! Best place in town!"
"I can tell..." William's spoke scornfully.
"Alright. Now that your bed is ready," I gestured at the cot, "I'm heading to bed, and you should too. Tomorrow, we are waking up early to try and get you a job somewhere, and I think I know a place that is at least somewhat reliable..." I chimed. "Because you are going to need to start helping me pay the bills while you here. Because that hour long shower costs me big time here, and that water bill won't pay itself." I said sternly, sending a warning gaze to William, which he once again ignored.
"But most importantly, tomorrow we are going to get you a brand new identity.... starting over from scratch... because you can not just walk around town as William Afton, the former owner of the Freddy Fazbear enterprise, Afton Robotics, and who was under investigation for the murder of 5 children. Who just so happened to mysteriously disappear one day, only to come back, thirty five years into the future the exact same age."
Watching me closely, William's face slowly fell to a dead and expressionless look, that truthfully... unsettled me greatly.
"You don't think I was thinking the same thing?..." His gruff low tone, sending a shiver down my spine.
"You don't think I thought about how I'm am standing alive, the exact same, exact same way of how I looked in 1993?..."
Walking up to me, William glared down into my eyes, his dominating my gaze. His hot breath blew down on me as he intently asked,
"How in the fucking Hell do you know what I've done...?"
Still not breaking eye contact, I was now dominating his glare with a smug expression, "No comment."
An insistent beeping pulled me out of slumber.
I groaned slapping the alarm off on my phone.
Sitting up groggily, I gazed the the cot at the end of my bed where William slept soundly the night before.
But, it was empty.
Staring blankly at it for a couple sleepy brainless moments, I got up.
Tossing open my door, I was greeted with multifarious different scents with the sound of sizzling from my kitchen.
"Good morning Love~"  William chimed, dressed in his new clothes with a grin on his face.
"Good morning
." I furrowed my eyebrows, "Are those omelets?" I asked approaching William's side.
"Well yes they are. I don't want to brag, but I make the best omelets in town." William said confidently, handing me a plate with a beautifully made omelet.
"Oh! Thank you... you really didn't have to make me breakfast..." I hesitantly spoke as I  took the plate from William, grabbing a fork and a knife before sitting down.
"Obviously I know that, but... I thought since you were kind enough to let me stay, the least I can do is make breakfast, yeah?" I softly smiled up at him, as he asked somewhat eagerly, "How is it?"
Taken aback, hearing that he even thought about the hassle of him staying, surprised me.
But nonetheless, I nodded my head politely, as I put a hand to my mouth and smiled. "Itch amaonzong!" I mumbled with the omelet still in my mouth.
Chuckling, William turned back to the stove and finished making his omelets, "I told you they were good!" He said before tearing into his own.
As we finished our breakfast, William took our plates and began washing them off.
"Thank you again for breakfast... that was really good!" I told him genuinely.
"Like I said, it's the least I could do. Plus, I got to see if my cooking skills were still intact after all these years.
As William washed the dishes, I watched him carefully trying to figure him out.
"Why was it so difficult to read him?!" No matter how hard I tried to finally see who he truly was, he would change.
He would go from making flirtatious comments, to choking you to death, then making you omelets.
"He's a psychopath Y/N...a high functioning psychopath to be specific." I thought to myself.
Of course he goes to all sides of the extreme.
He can't help but to do it because it's what he's always done.
That is why he was mentally unstable enough to kill the kids...
Pulling me out of my thoughts, William leaned on the kitchen counter in front of me, "So when are we getting out of here?" He asked me.
"Oh, well I still need to get dressed...but on that note though, how do the clothes fit? Because they look nice..." I asked curiously, examining his outfit.
He was wearing the white button down I bought him, which he rolled the sleeves up to his elbows, and a pair of khaki slacks. "Surprisingly well. You have an eye for sizing, because they fit perfectly."
"Just a little talent I have~" I chuckled as I got up from the table, "I'm going to go get ready if you need anything else, just nock." I said to him before heading back to my room.
Opening the door, the still dark and silent room, I shut the door with a light sigh. I was still trying to soak in everything that has happened in the past 48 hours.
Trying to ignore the what felt like looming stress over my head and shoulders, I opened my closet to pick out my day's outfit.
I grabbed a black sweater that outlined my body nicely, and threw on a red leather blazer. Selecting one of my nice black skirts to pair, I also grabbed my pair of brown boots that came up to my knees.
Looking in the mirror, I felt elegant. I wanted to match the effort William put in to his outfit who already looked ten times more dressed up than me.
Starting on my makeup and hair, which took no longer than two minutes combined to do, I slipped on some of my jewelry and perfume before exiting my room.
Grabbing the handle of my door, a wave of nausea washed over me making my head spin to the point where I fell to my knees.
"Shit. No...Not now... no, no, no, no..."
I slouched against the chair as I waited for Y/N to finish getting ready. Rubbing my face I realized I would need to pick up a razor while we're out. As I thought over my prickly face, I heard Y/N's door creek open and out came a done up Y/N.
Her radiantly glowing hair lay kindly against her shoulders. The jacket, the sweater, the skirt... it all complimented her so well.
"Now look who's all dolled up!" I smiled widely as Y/N turned to me.
For as put together as she looked, something about her was strange.
Her eyes were distant and dark. They seemed even more deep set.
Her jaw clenched and her expression was glazed over. But even with all of that she still returned my smile and lightly chucked at my comment.
"Yep... and ready to go."
We left the apartment rather hastily, William tagging behind my rushed being in bewilderment.
Anxiety is a crippling thing.... But when you see the ghost of dead children on top of that is even more terrifying.
Jumping in the car, I quickly turned it on as William examined me curiously as he more leisurely got in.
My hands shook and I turned the key and reached for the gearshift. But as did, my arm was slammed down into William's grasp.
Looking at him with surprise and worry, William on the other hand, had his brows knitted in frustration and just the slightest hint of worry. His eyes were dark and calculated. Paying attention to every detail painted on my face.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?!” I raised my voice out of agitation and pain.
"Now you are going to tell me what is wrong, right now. Because if you think you are going to trick me, or turn me in once we leave here and-"
“Are you kidding me?! No William! This isn't about THAT!" I shrilled as the anxiety finally came through onto my face as a single tear rolled down my cheek.
Pulling my arm out of his grasp, William looked at me still surprised at my outburst. I gripped my wrist in slight pain as I looked up into his deep eyes.
"....there’s a glitch.... a glitched rabbit... the other part of you! He's is coming... and he is coming to kill us... and there is nothing we can do to stop it."

CHANGE ME CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
"How much fucking worse...?" I looked at William with saucer like eyes.
Chuckling, William looked down to his dried, cracking hands, then looked back up at me through his eyebrows. His sharp eyes darkened and gave me the iconic 'Kubrick Stare'.
"Well, how do I put this without sounding utterly insane?" He added theatrically.
"Believe me, with the shit I'm seeing right now, you can't do much more." I bluntly stated.
"Alright then...half of my soul...is out, free, you could say. That part of me though, is what wanted to do the...dark things I did. So since that is the part of me that committed the crimes with no remorse, even though all of me did it, I suppose I was given another chance. Set free. Now part of me is running rampant in the streets, most likely wearing that dammed rabbit suit."
"Yeah... I should have specified..."
"I warned you..." William said with a knowing smirk.
"But didn't you have the suit?!"
"It's a different suit, believe me, it gets confusing..."
"How does this even happen?!" I exclaimed, rubbing my temples intensely with my fingers.
"How am I suppose to know?" William answered defensively.
"Because it happed to you!"
"Touché..." a caught off guard looking William shrugged.
Looking up at the ceiling as my head draped against the wall, I let out a deep and defeated sigh, looking back to William who's intelligent eyes seemed to be studying me.
"Well... we can't sit here all day." I said quickly as I pushed myself off of my wall.
Grabbing my keys, I turned to William with hesitancy.
Hey...okay... I still need to buy groceries, but I'm going to a Walmart and I'm going to see what they have in men's clothes too for you, Because you look like a disaster. No offense... plus, I'm not just going to leave you in rags." Spinning my keys on my pointer finger, I began to walk out of my room leaving the older man still sitting on my bed.
"Also! I'll pick you up some shower stuff too! Because, again... no offense..." I left, the comment hanging in the air as I made a face towards the notable pungency of William.
Rolling his eyes, he sneered as he got up from my bed,
"How about you try rotting in a suit for thirty five years yeah!" He yelled to me as I stood in the opening of the door
"Uh, yeah......No!" I smiled before closing it quickly behind me.
Staring at where she once stood, I sighed into the now Y/N-less apartment.
"She just left me in her apartment...alone...?" Chucking and shaking my head, I began to explore the place more in depth.
"I'm a serial killer......She knows that too! And is letting me stay in her home!" Laughing incredulously.
Walking into what you would consider the living room, I scanned the small space which contained a love seat that was the size of a two person couch, a large speaker, and a small coffee table sitting in the middle of the living room.  Sitting down in the love seat, I sighed running my hand over the the cream color fabric which fit the scheme of the rest of the house.
In a way that I couldn't explain, the room seemed lonely. Being so small, just enough for one person.
But even with the feeling of loneliness, the thought of being alone brought me a familiar comfort. A feeling I used to hate but now, I have just excepted as being apart of my existence.
Tossing my head back, I let out a sigh and closed my eyes.
They fell closed as if they weighed a thousand pounds.
I hadn't even realized, but exhaustion ruled my body. If I was being honest, I hadn't truly 'slept' in over thirty years.... And if it were possible to say so... I could definitely feel it.
As my mind sluggishly swam away from consciousness, I crossed my arms and let out another sigh,
"I'll be awake by the time she gets back..."
Driving up to the apartment, I couldn't help but be nervous to go back inside. I mean, could you blame me?!
What if he decided to leave, and now, he knows where I live and how to get in....
What if he stole my stuff?....
What if he is waiting for me to get in and then kill me? Then steal my stuff....
"Nope, we don't need to think like that....not right now." I told myself sternly and I grabbed my grocery bags from the car.
Walking up to my apartment, I awkwardly pulled out my keys from my purse as the grocery bags hung from my arms.
Slowly and cautiously opening the door. I was, readying myself for whatever was or wasn't inside, and past that door... so without further hesitation, I walked in....
But I was greeted with snoring....
Not just any kind of snoring....Dad snoring.
The loudest.
Most obnoxious kind of snoring out there.
"Ha, and I thought he was at the ready to kill me..." I chuckled shaking my head.
As quietly as possible, I walked in and put down the groceries on the counter, looking over to William every once and awhile to make sure he was still asleep.
Taking a glance once more, I walked back to my room and to my closet to grab him a blanket.
Coming back out, I expected him to wake, but as I approached him, he seemed to be snoring even louder.
I slowly draped the soft blanket over his shoulders and chest, which he unconsciously responded to as he seemed to shift into the warmth of it.
He seemed so tired, I actually felt slightly bad for him.
Standing back up with a soft smile, I quietly backed away from William hoping not to undo everything I just did.
"Sweet dreams Afton..." I softly whispered.
I opened my eyes.
And for the first time is several decades....rested.
And warm...
Looking down, a thick dark green, velvety blanket was draped over me which in fact, was quite pleasant against my arms. Looking up and around the room
Y/N was no where sight. Getting up, I removed the blanket and I was met with the cool air outside of it.
Getting up from the seat, I walked to the counter which had bottles of male shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Even a bottle of lotion. Along with that though was a note.
To William,
I hope that these will work for you. I'm in my room if you want to use shower so just nock. Also if you are hungry, help yourself to whatever I have. Or I can cook something up for us.
I caught myself smiling lightly at the note.
"Kindness like this is hard to get now a days..." I mumbled as I made my way down the hall.
Nocking gently on the young woman's door, I heard her voice from the other side.
"You can come in." Y/N said calmly.
Upon opening the door, I slowly sauntered in. Y/N didn't meet my gaze, but I know she felt it on her as she turned the page of a book that encapsulated her attention completely.
Leaning up against the wall and crossing my arms, I looked at her curiously studying her and taking in her overall appearance.
Her hair was long, it was down and wet from her shower, and her face looked clean and smooth. She had on white crew socks which she had rolled down to almost her ankles. She wore a night shirt that looked like one of my old dress shirts yet softer. Lastly, she had on black spandex shorts that were only visible to me, because her shirt lifted up the smallest bit from the position she was laying in.
To be honest, I was just relieved to know that she even had shorts on...
"You're going to burn holes in my head if you keep staring at me like that you know. If you want to shower, it's all yours. I'm already done." Y/N said, not looking up once at me and the small smirk that adorned my lips.
"You're a strange girl...." I said, as nonchalantly as possible. Which was difficult because I could barely hide the smirk growing on my face as I pushed myself off the wall and approached her bed with slow steps. Finally looking up to me, her big, doe-ish eyes watching my every movement as I approached.
"Now why is that?" She asked me coyly, putting down her book that had her full attention just a second ago.
"Ha! Well... you let me into your house yeah?... You're letting me use your shower, you bought me my own toiletries..." getting closer to her, I continued, "You know who I am... what I am capable of. I nearly killed you last week! Yet here I am...kindly being hosted by the same person." Being finally close enough,  I swiftly grabbed Y/N and she let out a gasp as I gripped her neck in my hand. With my palm against her wind pipe, one swift motion would crush it...
"Now Y/N... you'd either have to be a fool or just naive... or something else entirely... but the question still remains, aren't you scared of me? Scared that I will kill you? Because I could right now, yeah?...And no one would know..." I breathed lowly staring deep into her silver eyes with my own.
"Actually William...." Y/N sighed tiredly, "So could I..." she mused as she raised a knife up to my neck so quickly I couldn't even react. The blade's point perched on top of my Adam's apple.
"If you try to nock it away I'll shove it right into your throat. But, there will be no need for that. Because William...if you really, and I mean truly wanted me dead, you would have already done it by now.
Two, I'm not scared of you...Why? Well....your not choking me. Now you are the one looking like the fool just putting your hand on my neck! You're trying to intimidate me Afton, and that won't work. Your bluffs are see through mucker."
Letting her go, as suddenly as I grabbed her, I pulled back with annoyance and astonishment.
"Mucker? Did you just call me mucker?"
"What'da think of my British slang?" She asked pridefully.
"Needs work." I laughed stepping fully away from her.
"I don't know, I think it was pretty smooth." She shrugged, setting the knife down on her dresser.
Looking at the knife and then back to her, she met my knowing eyes. "If you weren't afraid, then you wouldn't have had it yeah?" I pushed with squinted eyes.
Smirking, she lifted up her eyebrow, "It's incredible how you didn't see me grab it right in front you...even with me in a chokehold!"
"Bullshit." I said rolling my eyes.
"Really?" Y/N asked impishly, "Then where is it?"
"You just put-" stopping in mid sentence, at the knife I watched her put down back into her dresser. She pulled from beside her leg and began spin it between her fingers.
Sighing triumphantly, she finally put the small weapon down, "Go take your shower William. I have a surprise for you when you get out."
"A surprise? Now I'm excited!" I responded facetiously.
"The sooner you stop smelling like a corpse, the sooner you can see it." She mused as she got back to her book.
"Ouch!" I exclaimed in feign hurt.
Laughing, Y/N waved me to the bathroom and I closed the door behind me.
Shaking my head in the mirror, I looked into my shuffled reflection and smiled, "I just might be able to tolerate you..."

CHANGE ME CHAPTER TWELVE:
Standing in utter shock, my mouth tried to quiver a response, "No... no this isn't possible..." I whispered.
"Now, Darling, why would you say such a thing? You having living proof right here, yeah?"
"No." I spoke with confidence, "No, I saw you. I saw you run into the woods that night. You were in the suit. Not....not-"
"This ravishing?~" William mused.
"No! Not alive, Mr. Afton!"
Going quiet, William looked down upon himself and then back up to me,
"Also...how the fuck did you get in my house?!"
Looking up at me surprised, but also, slightly amused, William chuckled at me and shook his head, "No comment Darling... and please...call me William."
"Ah well, that's on me now, yeah? Still... no comment." William smirked.
Shaking my head in disbelief, I looked over to the older man, his scarred and thin looking arms propping him up against my white comforter. I noticed his calculating eyes followed mine as I examined him.
With a surge of confidence, and not a single word, I approached William confidently.
Raising a brow in confusion, he looked at me as I stood above above him,
"Give me your hand." I said bluntly.
With a smirk that seemed to permanently paint his defined face, William lifted up his hand and presented it to me extravagantly.
I took his large hand into my small ones. I immediately felt the callouses that covered his palms. Turning his hand over I further examined the scars that littered his body. They were completely closed and healed. Yet, I could tell they were from the spring lock suit.
"You know, I really don't believe in miracles... but this...this is something else..." I whispered.
She turned my hand around in hers as if she were trying to memorize what she was seeing.
She ran her thumb across the thick and bubbled scars on my wrist.
Watching her face closely, I tried to see all the emotions that crossed her face, each expression, but yet her stare was focused upon the task at hand.... Literally and metaphorically speaking.
Pulling her hands away from mine she stepped back and leaned up against her wall. She just stared at me, our eyes locking, both having the same effect, we both stared intensely, not breaking eye contact. As the silence grew, so did my grin.
"Well Y/N....? What is your professional opinion on this matter?" I said facetiously.
Now rolling her eyes, Y/N pushed herself off the wall and began to pace in front of me slowly.
"I don't have a professional opinion... I... I just am shocked. That's all. I don't think I truly believed it until I saw your hand." She stated honestly.
Moving my gaze down, I, myself, began to examine my own hand as Y/N continued to pace.
"Okay... I'm going to address the elephant in the room... I always appreciate a visit from my colleagues, but I don't think your here to take me to brunch now are you?" She said with a smirk.
Letting out a chuckle, I put my hands up in defeat and I looked at her through my eyebrows,
"Now, I would, Darling, but I don't have the resources for that... plus, I guess I should tell you why I am here..."
"Fucking finally!" Y/N exclaimed, throwing her hands in the air.
Letting out a sigh, I began to explain,
"After you told me to run, I did. But something made me come back. When I did, the suit... the suit began to crack and it spit me out. I thought I would be a rotten corpse, but I saw skin...and I breathed for the first time in thirty five years. But that is when I saw you drive away from the attraction behind the fire department. I figured you were headed to the hospital...so.... I followed you there. Then I followed you back here to your apartment. It wasn't far from there, and I figured as someone younger, you wouldn't own a house of your own in this part of town. So I just walked here. That is then where I saw you with your neighbor, and that is when I saw you enter your apartment."
"Good deduction skills at least..." Y/N mumbled.
"Anyway, why I am here currently is because I wanted to ask you for a favor, yeah?..."
"Ah ha! I knew it was something!" Y/N sneered cockily.
Squinting my eyes in annoyance, I clicked my tongue at her comment.
"What would you possibly want me to do for you, Mr. Afton." Y/N spoke guardedly, crossing her arms.
"As you know, I have no where to go. I have been in that damned place for thirty five years. I have no money, no job, and any records of my name show me as dead. So I need your... assistance. I need a place to stay, just for a bit now, Darling!" I begged Y/N, with a gesture of reaching out to her.
In contrast to my pleading eyes, her cold and hesitant ones bore into me, searching for any amount of trick  that I might spring on her.  Still not giving her the advantage, I excepted the stare down and my pleading pout turned into a small smirk.
"Cut the bullshit William. You don't need to beg me like I'm ruthless. I know you have no where to go, so that is why I am going to be generous....You can stay with me until you get on your feet, then, you are to be on your way. Do we have a deal?" Still distrustful, Y/N put out a hand to me, a handshake to seal our verbal deal.
My face contorted into a smile. Which seemed foreign to me, and so it seemed to Y/N as well.
She cocked a hesitant eyebrow towards me as I took her small, bone cold hand and shook on the deal.
Pulling her hand away, she backed up towards the wall, looking at me with still obvious suspicion.
Grinning from ear to ear, I threw my hands up in a dramatic gesture, announcing our new found partnership.
"Ah, now Y/N, since I'll be here with you, I should probably tell you about a little problem I have..."
"Well, you just keep piling onto the plate, don't you?" She asked  sarcastically.
"Well Y/N... let's just say, if you thought I was bad...it gets so much worse..."

CHANGE ME CHAPTER ELEVEN:
8:00 am:
Getting up fucking sucked. It actually sucks getting up any and every normal morning... but after the night before...?!
"Just shoot me now..." I mumbled as I turned off my alarm. Sitting up and slumping out of bed, I walked to my closet and grabbed my outfit for the day, which looked similar to what I wore this entire week.
‱ Pair of Blue Jeans
‱ Navy blue Sweater
‱ Mary Janes
Simple...yet it had a warm and unique feel to it. That was my style...and I loved it.
I put on some mascara and blush to give my face some life before heading to the kitchen and grabbing myself some breakfast. Well, at least a protein bar, before heading out to my weekend duties...
8:00 am:
My body ached.
How was this possible?! How did this happen? How am I not rotten....?!....a corpse...?!
I don't think I will ever quite understand...but, it did happen...
The sun had been up and above the horizon for some time now. It was my first sunrise in thirty six years... I never thought something as little as the sun rising would be one of the most beautiful things I would see in such a long time....
8:30-10:00 am:
The gym wasn't busy. The only people that were there were a middle aged woman on the treadmill, that looked like she had been on it for hours, a couple guys that were at the bench press and some pervy guy stretching in the corner.
'All right... not going over there' I thought to myself, as me and the guy stretching in the corner made direct eye contact.
Deciding to do legs and abs, I began my extensive workout, whilst trying to avoid eye contact with pervy, even though his eyes were already on me.
Towards the end of my workout, Mr. Stretchy who had been "stretching" for a total of forty minutes came over to me.
Not saying a word, he handed me a sweaty piece of paper, with a phone number written on it....obviously, it being his phone number.
"Oh no thanks." I said with a kind smile, trying to hold my disgust of how wet the paper between my fingers was.
Looking at me, still silent began to walked backwards, away from me, staring me down in the upmost uncomfortable manner.
I was beginning to say something until pervy ran into the bench press with the two other men on it. Seeing the sudden commotion, I took my opportunity and left, but not without throwing away the sweaty number given to me.
"God, I really need to wash my hands...."
10:10 am:
I emerged from the woods. I knew where she lived. This morning I had followed her home from the hospital. I saw her arrive back to the apartments I now stood. Her tear-stained face and her exhausted stance, still fresh in my brain, I saw the apartment she entered as well and I committed it to memory....
I put my hands to my scarred face, trying to massage out a clear idea of what to do. Sighing in frustration, I looked to my side, at the crumpled, rotten animal suit.
"Ah, now that is ingenious William."
10:20-11:00 am
I quickly brushed out my hair, put on deodorant, and my makeup in the car.
I was about to apply for a new job a the most promising place in my area for the time being....
A 7/11 gas station.
"Okay... all I need to do is make a good impression!...and then hope that is all I need," I told myself before getting out of the car.
Opening the door to the convenient store, I was met with a very enthusiastic greeting,
"Ah hello! Welcome to 7/11!"
"Hi, excuse me, I was wondering if I could talk to someone about applying for a job here?"
"Oh! Of course! You can talk to me, ah yes follow me," The man that greeted me behind the counter said.
Exiting from behind the counter, he shook my hand vigorously and then led me to what seemed to be his office.
"Hello my name is Aarush and I'm the manager. What is your name?"
"My name is Y/N L/N, it's lovely to meet you Aarush." I spoke with utmost confidence.
"It's a pleasure to meet you as well Y/N. Now let me ask you..."
Aarush sat down heavily in a slightly-beaten up rolly chair. Taking a seat myself in a chair opposite of him, I let my nervous silver eyes flick to his dark and kind looking ones.
"Why do want to apply?" Aarush asked, his elbows supporting his as leaned into his hand which was positioned against his face.
"Well, truthfully...the place I originally worked burned down this morning. I worked at the Fazbear's Fright about five minutes from here. So, I am pretty frantic to find a job because my rent is due at the end of the month, and if I can't pay it, I get kicked out of my apartment."
"Ah, I fully understand...from what I see Ms. L/N, you're an honest woman... and I also understand you need this job... so, how does Monday sound?" Aarush smiled at me brightly.
"Oh... oh my gosh, that sounds amazing! I- thank you so much Mr. Aarush! Thank you!" With utter excitement, I reached across Aarush's desk and shook his hand as enthusiastically as he did mine when I entered the store.
Returning the enthusiasm, he shook my hand and led me out of his office and back into the rest of the store.
As we walked he told me my hours I would be working which was incredibly lenient.
"I am looking forward to seeing you Monday Ms. Y/N! Have a wonderful day!"
"Thank you again! I am looking forward to it Mr. Aarush! Have a great weekend!"
Exiting the 7/11, my face dropped from the over excited mannerisms to my natural expression.
"Easy peasy~"
11:00 am:
I shut the door cautiously behind me. I knew she wasn't here, yet it seemed unwise to just slam the door behind me.
Silver and calculated, my eyes flicked around the room before me. It was a good sized apartment. The inside being a lot kinder to the eye than the outside.
Locking the door, I stepped away from the entryway and took in the place. I grazed my large hand over the modern countertop that lined the kitchen area before my attention was taken over to the small wooden table right across from me.
Stacked upon it were newspaper clippings of the "Fazbear's Fright" attraction that had been cut out and the phone number circled in red pen, laid on the table.
"How interesting..." I mumbled with a smirk
Leaving that, I continued my way through the apartment. Walking down the hallway, I now stood in the entrance of her room.
It was incredibly tidy. The bed was made, there was not a single thing out of place. Which matched the entire apartment.
"Ah, she's tidy... a perfectionist..."
Looking around her room, she had an album on her wall that read, "Arctic Monkeys", along with framed pictures of what seemed to be singers of her time and movie posters of the classic horror movies such as 'Halloween' and 'scream'
Looking towards her bed, she had a chocolate brown,  comforter that complemented her orange satin pillowcase and sheets.
Walking over to her nightstand, I examined the items in it...a small ornate jewelry box that held 'various' rings, necklaces, bows and earrings. Next to that, was a photo of two individuals that looked like incredibly young Y/N and the other, a older man, who looked to be her father. Both had broad smiles and shining eyes. I hadn't noticed before, but her eyes were eerily similar to mine.
Sharp.
Knowing.
Silver.
A pale and distinctive color...eyes that could capture you and reel you in, staring deep into your own being. I had always been told mine were unsettling or intimidating, but her's... her's were utterly hypnotic.
Tearing my own silver eyes away from the picture, I noticed the the little bag of cosmetics that she had along with a bottle of perfume.
Picking it up, I took in a deep whiff, smelling the sweet and smoky scent of the perfume that gave me the the nostalgic feeling of sitting in front of a small campfire letting the sweet smoke entangle in my clothes and senses.
Setting it down, I moved my eyes to a cluster of small, orange bottles that were obviously filled with medication. Picking each of them up and reading the title, I didn't know what any of them were for, but I found it intriguing to see how many of the bottles there were.
"Now, why would you needs those now, Dear?"  I spoke as I traveled my hand across her bed and over to her window. Looking out the window at the bright autumn morning, I noticed a familiar looking car pull into the parking lot. It stopped in the front row, and out stepped Y/N.
"Ah, she's here..."
Her golden blonde hair beamed in the sunlight, her soft and pale complexion glowing from the sun, as she looked towards her apartment.  I hastily stepped away from the window, avoiding detection. Taking a seat on her clean, plush mattress, I let out a sigh,
"This should be fun, yeah?"
11:10 am:
I walked excitedly to my apartment...I got the job! All I had to do now was wait. Plus, taking a day for relaxation would do me well.
As I unlocked my door, a feeling of unease began to wash over me. A familiar feeling I'd had since my childhood. I used to think it was just paranoia, but when bad things would happen (or were about to happen), I realized my intuition was stronger than I first thought.
With all the events that had taken place, I didn't want to take any chances. I pulled out my pepper spray and opened my door slowly.
Immediately, the feeling in my gut grew.
"There's someone here..." , the voice inside my brain whispered to me.
"You need to leave... go get someone... even if it's nothing...", it badgered again.
I wasn't just going to sneak around when someone could be looking at me any moment. So, I did what you're not supposed to in ANY horror movie....
I called out.
Just a little differently....
"Alright....! I know you're here....! Don't be a bitch come out and get me!", I called out.
Silence...
"I'm completely and definitely defenseless and just a stupid girl in her 20's~ who will be taking a shower later!"
I called out again with sarcasm dripping from my words.
Still not moving from my place by the door, I noticed the door to my bedroom was closed. Eyes opening wide, knowing fully well I didn't close it, my heart began to beat increasingly faster than normal.
Swallowing hard, I called out again, "I swear, if you're being weird on my bed, I'm going to kill you. My sheets are brand new, fucker!" I yelled furiously.
Finally, stepping away from the safety of my only exit, I tiptoed silently to my cabinet, 'where I kept my knives'. Not turning my back on the hall, I crouched down and opened the cabinet door, pulling out one of the steak knives. It glinted in the kitchen light and I let out a long, drawn-out sigh. Getting up, I walked sternly down the hallway.
"Listen up, fucker...you might've broken into my apartment...but, I'm pissed and you are testing the limitations of my medication!"
Testing to see if the door was unlocked, I then swung it open in a fury.
"I will slit your th-"
As the door swung open, hitting the wall. What I was met with was not what I expected.
Sitting poised, was a man in a once purple, torn dress shirt and torn black slacks.
His face was was pale, his features were sharp, in a way, attractive. His hair was an ashy shade of brown that feathered down his neck. He seemed to be in his mid to late thirties. Scars littered his body. However, what caught my attention the most was his pale, cold, silver stare that bore into me.
The man let out a soft chuckle before speaking in a voice I knew all too well...,
"Hello Y/N~"

CHANGE ME CHAPTER TEN:
"You're all set to go ma'am." The receptionist behind the desk at the ER told me.
"Thank you so much, I really appreciate it..." I said with a tired but charming smile.
"Of course Hon, get a lot of rest and be safe!" She told me before I walked out of the automatic sliding doors that dinged every time someone got too close.
Once I got to my car, I yanked my door open and I plopped in, I was so tired... my emotions from the chaos of the night were running wild in my brain. To add on to that, I was questioned and prodded by police and the fire department why the place burned for the rest of the late hours of the night.
I couldn't keep it in any longer, grabbing the steering wheel and my vision became blurred from tears, I just  screamed, screamed until I started to cry and my sobs prohibited me from hurting my vocals cords anymore.
As I cried banged my head between my hands on the steering wheel and let out a labored breath.
"I'm. So. Fucking. Tired..." I whimpered to myself as I continued to focus on my breathing.
I pulled my head up from the wheel and wiped my tear covered-swollen face. Turning on the car, I collected myself and pulled out of the parking lot, and began to drive home.
"What do I do now?!" I asked myself aloud.
"You burned down your job and the sole reason you moved to fucking Utah! William is gone and the children got released from the attraction and have finally moved on. So what do we do now?..." I questioned myself.
Shaking my head defeatedly, I looked to my left and I just realized the sun was coming up. The blinding sun was just beginning to peak over the mountains and bask the town below in a beautiful pink and golden veil of light.
At least I got to see my first sunrise in Utah...
As I arrived to the apartments, I let out a shaky breath that I didn't realize I was holding.
' As soon I walk through that door I'm going to sleep...' I thought.
Getting out of the car, I wobbled slowly to my apartment, but I was stopped before I could reach it.
"You look like Hell..." Mumbled Pat, as she stared blankly at the rising sun, taking a drag probably from her tenth cigarette this morning, even though it was only seven AM.
I didn't even realize she was there until she said something.
"I bet I do..." I told her weakly.
"I told you that place was evil..." she said in a I told-you-so tone.
"Well Pat... it's gone now..." I said with a small smirk.
Looking at me bewildered, Pat leaned forward her cigarette twiddling between her old and cracked fingers.
"Now what you say?... Wha'da mean it's gone?" She looked into my eyes searching them frantically yet keeping her demeanor calm.
"Four hours ago, Fazbear's Fright burnt down to the ground with me inside...I was lucky I got out, because all the entrances were... blocked." I told her genuinely.
"It-it did?! How?!"
"I don't know Pat, but you got your wish... the place went up in flames... I guess universe was listening to you..."
Before she could answer, I pulled myself away from her patio and walked to my apartment.
Upon entering, the feeling of overwhelming exhaustion took over my body and my legs felt like they were going to give out. But even in my roughened state, I was determined enough to take a half-assed shower and at least get the visible grime off my body.
When I finished, I wobbled out of the bathroom in my comfy pjs, I plopped down onto my bed and let out a long, pathetic and painful groan.
"What am I going to do...? I'm jobless!" I whimpered curling up into my covers.
Tomorrow, I needed to start applying for jobs, because if I didn't have enough money by the end of the next month to pay rent, I was screwed.
Closing my eyes, I let my tired brain wander, and the circling question I had ignored the entirety of the night finally came to the forefront of my thoughts...
Where is William?.... And what is he going to do?
To be honest, if a murderous rabbit man got freed into society after being trapped for thirty years, I would not be surprised if a bunch of people started popping up dead. But, I had an almost had a weird feeling of faith that he would stop.
He seemed so genuine when he said he just wanted it to be over...I don't think he'd mess that up even further knowing what he knows. But hey, Ted Bundy sounded pretty genuine when he said he didn't kill forty young women...
"Okay Y/N... don't do that to yourself..." I muttered.
I had to stay optimistic about this.
William had to have gone into hiding...! Away from everyone and everything. No one to worry about seeing him, and peace at last; Which we had plenty of peaceful areas with the land around Utah, and especially in Hurricane.
"Yes that makes the most sense!" I thought staring at my ceiling with a false sense of confidence,
Turning from my back and the wonderful view of the off white and slightly bubbled paint from above me on my ceiling, I curled up tighter into my covers, the cover that seemed to hold all the answers to my problems. To be honest...for the moment, I wanted to believe that. Believe that everything would just slip away from me and it would all be okay and fixed... but in the back of my mind, I knew it wouldn't. I knew if I didn't fix this, no one would. Problems would once again arise, and it would be a never ending cycle of pain and suffering.
So that is what I told myself as I slipped into a unconscious state,
"It has to be you... and okay...but seriously, where the fuck is William?"

CHANGE ME CHAPTER NINE:
With the building overcoming with flames I watched the children fade into to thin air but Charlotte.
"You. Little. Bitch." I hissed. The feeling of helplessness overtaking my mechanical body. I could feel the heat around me as the fire spread quickly amongst the building.
"You aren't leaving... I'll make sure of it." Her voice was threatening. and as much as I wanted to deny, I knew it was a promise, especially now.
With that, she too disappeared into nothing and I was left alone. Alone to burn in my own Hell.
Walking back to the office, the flames were already burning through the thin walls, at last engulfing the entire place in a conflagration of Hell.
"Why?....Why! Why did I have to do it?!" I yelled angrily into the flames that we're getting unbearably close to me.
"Please.... I'm so-"
I was cut off by a violent crash. A crash through the wall in front of me.
Coughing and heaving, Y/N stood beside a large green  dumpster and she quickly pushed it away clearing a hole through the wall.
"Hurry let's go! First responders are on there way and if you are here that won't be good."
Before I could respond, she yanked me me through the opening and I was pulled into the back pavement outside.
Not even taking in the situation, my mind slowed to a stop. I was out of the attraction...
I was standing outside, my feet touching the rough pavement...
And the night guard; that just ran into the building riding a dumpster, is yelling at me to to run. None of it fazed me...
But my mind and body had different views on that moment. Before I realized, my mechanical legs took into a full sprint into the first secure place I saw. A forest about a hundred meters away.
With adrenaline pumping through my undead body everything began to come back to me, but once I started running, I couldn't stop.
"YES! YES! YES! Run!" I screamed as the fading shape of Afton ran into the dark.
I let out a quivering breath, the stress and tax of the night finally catching up to me.
In the distance, sirens wailed.
I ran to the front of the attraction and saw the flashing lights in the distance. The eeriness of them approaching and my silhouetted figure in front of the burning building didn't set with me.
For as hot as the fames were though, a shiver was sent down my body,
"Your actions have a price Y/N... you will pay for what you have done..."  Whispered a faint voice.
I didn't dare turn to see who it was, because I had a feeling I already knew.
As the fire department arrived, I finally let out the breath I was holding, I stared blankly into the blinding and seizure inducing lights that swarmed around me.
The First Responders jumped out of their vehicles and ran past me, and for the first time, I felt like I was in slow motion.
Suddenly, a firefighter grabbed my arm he and pulled me out of the way. He began asking me questions but my mind was in a haze.
Ignoring him he sat me down at the edge of an ambulance.
"Wait here." He said and I nodded in compliance.
He then ran over the burning attraction and began to hose it down with the rest of the firefighters. I just sat there and watched, an overwhelming amount of exhaustion and pride filled me seeing the place begin to crumble. Maybe it was lack of oxygen or some of the gas from the building, but I felt like I ran a marathon.
I leaned over and rested my head on the door of the ambulance, I couldn't help myself, but shut my eyes and the last thing I see is the attraction crumble into the flames.

CHANGE ME CHAPTER EIGHT:
"Well, um hi..." I whispered as the the long lanky figure from the darkness approached me and William.
"Where do you think your going William?" A young girl's voice asked from the animatronic which seemed to be a marionette.
"Leaving with my lovely associate here." William spoke with annoyance.
"Well I can't let you do that..." She spoke with an unnerving amount of venom in her voice.
"How about today Charolette~ why don't you and your little buddies go play? Because I am leaving." William snarled.
"We are leaving..." I corrected William, "but we do need to get through, is there a we can possibly discuss this? Maybe over brunch...? Or tea...?"
"Not if he is involved... no." The girl I assumed was Charlotte said dryly.
"Well isn't that convenient."
"Tell me about it..." William sighed along with me.
"Alright. I understand your anger towards this man, but... by us burning down the place, you'll be free and I can help him...." I pointed to William.
"Not screw up again!" I said with a clasp of my hands as all of the children stared at me with blank and unreadable expressions.
"Why doesn't he burn with us?..." A little boy asked me from the group.
"Yes." They all chimed in unison.
"I don't like that plan..." William mumbled.
"Yeah... yeah uh....t-that doesn't sound like my favorite thing, but we could so compromise!" I added with false positivity.
"But Y/N?... Isn't that is what you came here to do? I am willing to help you. Help you achieve both of our goals. You can leave... free... and you don't have to look back. All you need to do is light the match and we will take care of him." Charlotte spoke artfully to me and William.
'Well that is what I came here to do... I mean would it be that bad to leave him?' I thought to myself.
'He did kill them'....
"Well Y/N, What do you think... because I will only offer it this once. If you don't take my offer, you will burn with him."
"How 'bout we all talk about our feelings... and maybe we will shed some light on our hurts?...I like that!" I said very unconvincingly.
Charlotte didn't respond to my helpless remark, but her lifeless and vengeful eyes bore into me like burning embers making my body tingle with anxiety.
"If I leave, you won't set him free. You and I both know you won't go free either... because keeping him here means a sacrifice from you. By you doing that, you will cause everyone including yourself and the innocent more pain... and I can't let that happen..." I stared back pleadingly to the dead children, with only my body separating William and the phantoms.
"That sacrifice might just be your fall Y/N..."
"It just might..."
"Light the match  Y/N..."
Frantically looking from each of the children and stepping back to William side, I let out almost an inaudible whine.
Shit. Shit. Shit
But I knew if I didn't make the decision, nothing would happen.
Hesitantly turning to William, I faced him with sorrowful eyes,
"I'm sorry."
Quickly ripping the matches from his mechanical fingers, I pulled one from the box. I ignited a small match and looked at everyone for a split second before I tossed the it at the cluster of wires at the door.
A grim appearance overtaking my expressions.
"No... no. You- were supposed to help me." William voice faltered as his wary eyes stared into mine,
Shifting the weight on my feet I glanced back at him with guilt I looked at Charlotte with a stern face,
"There has to be another way..."
"Goodbye Y/N..."
With that, the door flew open with an invisible force and I took the chance. I to ran out the door with with urgency, and a coat of remorse weighing me down.
But it soon became unbearable when I turned to see the distraught William looking toward my quickly fading shape that sprinted into the night.

CHANGE ME: CHAPTER SEVEN
Quiet... peace and quiet. But only when I thought the world could be silent forever, with the movie theatre of dreams playing in my mind.....
My eyes flew open.
Beep.
Beep.
Beep.
Bee-
"Shut up!" I whined picking up my phone and shutting of my alarm.
With a groggy grunt, I sat on the edge of my bed and cradled my face in my hands. Poorly attempting to wipe the sleep out of my eyes, as the sleep induced fog completely overwhelmed my vision. I slowly got up and walked to the bathroom with hunched shoulders, yawning as I padded into the dark room. Flipping on the light switch, I squinted while I rummaged around for my things.
After a decent chunk of time, I was fully able to open my eyes that finally adjusted to the dull yellow light from my bathroom.
Looking up into my mirror, I was largely taken aback by my shocking reflection. Blinking a couple time to see if it was a trick of the eye, I was sorely disappointed to see when it wasn't.
Dark rings hung under my eyes that made me look like a raccoon and my pale complexion wasn't making my face anymore flattering. It was whiter than usual. I was deathly pale...But my I wish my face was the most unsettling thing, but unfortunately, it wasn't.
"Oh my God... what did he do to my neck?!" I rasped.
Well. He choked me. Choked me nearly to death...
That's what he did to my neck.
Turning my head to fully, the color contrast of my white skin against my throat was a bluish-purple ring of bruising around the base of my neck.
Slowly taking my finger, I put the slightest-to no pressure against it which I pulled back with an immediate groan.
"Uhghgh... oh ow. That hurt." I said with gritted teeth.
Setting my hands on the counter going into a slight trance, I stared at the ill colored ring for a couple more moments before snapping myself out of it.
"You can't do anything about it now..." I said
before continuing to get ready.
Loosely tying my tie to keep away from my bruising, I looked at myself and my finished my attire. Grabbing my toothbrush, I brushed my teeth and put on a bit of makeup before running out of my room quickly to the kitchen.
I dug through my pantry and grabbed a cup of ramen and threw it in the microwave whilst I sorted through my bag for the night.
Dinging, the microwave beeped notifying me that my sodium filled dinner/breakfast  was now done and I enjoyed my small meal before having to deal with my tempered and dead....coworker.
11:30......
Sauntering once again into my joyous work space I happily sing out, "I'm baccckkk~" into the attraction.
Getting to the office, I toss my stuff down and take out my bat just for good measures. Not falling for another situation where Springtrap could strangle the living shit out of me.
"Not today Afton!" I sighed heavily bouncing the heavy part of the bat in my hand.
Even though I knew bunny man could still beat me into a pasty white plump if he wanted to, the bat gave me a false amount of confidence that made me not afraid just enough where I could do my job.
As I spun in mindless circles in my chair for fifteen minutes, I was snapped out of my thoughts by the phone dude that called the night before.
"This place isn't rainbows and unicorns Dude!" I exclaimed frustratedly mocking my apparent night guard trainer.
As he continued his long drawn out "exciting" rant, he brought up supposed training tapes from a previous Freddy's location that burnt down thirty years ago.
'Vintage tapes from the original Freddy's?'
I thought excitedly, curious to here what was to be said on the other line.
After a couple seconds, the Phone Dude voice disappeared and was replaced with an upbeat and slightly nervous voice that came over the phone,
"Uh... Hello! Hello! Hello!" He spoke,
"Hey~" I replied in a joking manner.
"Uh, welcome to your new career as a performer/entertainer/for Freddy's Fazbear's Pizza." The man continued as I began to to actually listen instead of making fun of him while I fiddled with retro objects around the room and occasionally checking the cameras.
"Uh, these tapes will provide you with much needed information on how to handle/climb into/climb out of  of mascot costumes. Right now, we have two specifically designed suits that double as both animatronics and suits. So please pay attention while learning how to operate these suits as accidents/injuries/death/irreparable grotesque maiming can occur." Suddenly dropping the tablet in my lap I rolled my chair forcefully closer to the phone.
Accidents, injuries, death, irreparable grotesque maiming... now that sounds familiar...
Looking back down to my tablet, the static crunched and I spotted a dark silhouetted figure staring into the camera coming out of the door near the exit.
"No you don't!" I said under my breath as I played a small child's voice that rang over the attraction.
No wonder you respond to it, it's a child! I thought as I worked and the phone guy continued on talking.
"To change the animatronics to suit mode, insert and turn firmly the hand crank provided by the manufacturer. Turning the crank will recoil and compress the animatronic part around the sides of the suit providing room to climb inside."
Shaking my head a the train tape I threw up my hands in bewilderment, "And people still did this even though it was made to practically be a death trap?"
"Yes." a deep and collected voice said beside me.
Turning my head to the voice, the tall springlocked animatronic man stood at the door leaning on the frame in an intimidating fashion.
"Fuck." I whispered swallowing hard but then remembering I had a bat and in that moment of false confidence, my slight fear of papa bunny went away.
Swallowing my fear and putting on a poker face, I stared at him in the eyes for a couple moments before slowly turning my body and attention back to the phone.
"Why?" I suddenly asked.
Letting out a wheezing chuckle, the animatronic made his way through the entrance of the office. His frame becoming all the more intimidating as he drew closer.
"How many springlock failures did it take before they concluded it wasn't safe? Or were you the only one?..." I added becoming more breathy and feeling my pulse in my neck wear the pain of last night became noticeable once more.
At this point, William was only a few paces away from me. I could feel his cold penetrating gaze bore into me as I stared back with an unnerving amount of bravado.
Not breaking eye contact , I put my hand down where my bat was concealed and lifted it out with a content sigh.
Seeing my sudden bravery, William let out another chuckle and shook his mechanical head.
"Brave now aren't we~" His mocking tone making me sneer.
"Listen Afton. I made a mistake of letting my guard down last night when I was trying to help you with the kids you killed. So, in summary...I have a bat now, and I will use it if you try to decisive me again. Because believe me! I still want to help, but for right now... I don't trust you." I stated standing up to my full 5'3 height against his 7'0 one.
"Going along with that sir..." I said coyly, while William imitated the action of a lifted brow,
"I have a set of rules that you will agree to if you want my help. If you still want it that is... I just supposed you came bac- "
"Yes. Now get on with it! I want to be rid of this God forsaken place for Pete's sake! Now finish before I find another way out by myself!" William snapped.
"Hmmm~" A coy expression falling over my face.
Got him.
"Fine...Alright rule one, obviously if you hurt me I will hit you with my bat and figure all of this out on my own.
Rule two, if you trick me...You get the bat. Got it?" I said with all the threatening confidence I could muster.
Staring at me disgruntled, William let out a sarcastic sigh that most likely would have had a heavy eye roll attached to it if he could even roll his eyes.
"Now rule three, I have already started on it, but we need a plan to get you and these kids out of here. Which is where you come in! You know this place better than anyone else, and we need to use that as an advantage." I exclaimed, excitement washing over me a little bit.
I mean, how often do you get to save ghost children from there Prison and a giant dead bunny from going to Hell? Never right?! Exactly my point.
Calming down a bit, I looked up at who I thought would be my worst enemy, actually might be my only chance at helping everyone.
"Well doesn't that sound just delightful..." William scoffed.
"Look, I just want to help you, if you want me to, why does it seem li-"
"Why? Why are you trying to help me? I could care less about them but at least I understand why you want to help those brats, but me? You know what I did! I killed them. I enjoyed it too. I'm the monster. Why tether yourself to the poison you want to stop?" William exclaimed in an outburst. If I didn't know any better, it almost sounded like he was... regretful? But I was too taken aback to even ask.
"Because, if I free you all, it can stop... you have suffered thirty years Mr. Afton, just like they did. Yes, it was a punishment, but no one should go through this any longer. I want this chaos to cease just like they do... even like you do. Deep down, I know you want it to stop. You would have killed me already if you didn't." I whispered, loosening my grip on the bat in my hands.
"You know nothing of me. Nothing. So don't flatter yourself in pretending like you do. I just want to leave this God damn hole in the ground and once I do, I will leave everything else behind including you. This place, those little shits, you, and M-m...ugh" William snarled at me.
The grip on my bat immediately went back to its knuckle whiting state but I never broke a calm and unbothered facial expression.
"I'm sorry. You know what, I don't know you! I don't know you at all. I also get why you don't want any association with this place, me, nor... your son." I said calculatedly knowing exactly what would spark a reaction, which I received just like I expected.
William's head shot up quicker than I could blink.
"Don't. You. Dar-"
"Anyway..." I cut him off.
"Don't interrupt m-"
"I just did...But as I was going to say, the only reason this place isn't burnt to the ground is because I have been fixing the ventilation system. So unless I don't, this place will be in ashes in no more than an hour." I stated matter of factly.
"So I suppose that is your ingenious plan? Burn the place? Make it look like it was nothing more than an accident, how clever~" William spoke with mockery in his tone.
Biting the inside of my cheek I looked at him with sass, "Yes. Yes it is, and honestly it is probably better than any of your plans because it's been thirty years and you're still here PeePaw." I retorted angrily, pointing a finger at the animatronic leaned up against the inside of the glass window.
"I beg your Pardon? What did you just call me?..."  William snarled.
Smirking to myself, sprawling like a joyous child in the moment, "Oh! What did I call you? I bet you forgot your hearing aids this evening, what I said was PeePaw~" I responded with a wide, pearly, shit eating grin.
Standing almost stunned for a moment, as if I bruised the dead man's ego so badly he had to take a puff of his inhaler. William was finally able to growl lowly at me,
"You just called me old...?" He spoke with astonishment.
"Yeah, mock me gramps and I'll mock you!"
"This is juvenile banter! I will not play any longer! I am not old!" William exclaimed in a defensive tone.
Chuckling a bit, I stared at the fully annoyed animatronic. I looked down at my hands that held my bat and realized I had let the tension go in my fingers again, which were now delicately holding the metal object.
When I looked back up, I was unexpectedly met with William inches away from my face. Drawing back in surprise, I kept my face steady but I am sure he noticed my breathing become suddenly ridged.
"Wow...you're still pretty fast for your age!" I said snidely.
"Watch your tongue now darling~ and enough of the games! How about we put that little plan of yours into action now, shall we?" The Brit tempted, putting a grotesque decaying hand to my chin, and caressed his thumb down my jaw.
My smug face evaporated to a shocked expression,
Didn't he look like he just wanted to kill me?
Pulling away from the dead Prince Charming, I grabbed a box of matches from my bag warning an excitable facial expression from William.
Opening up the compact little box, I took out one of the delicate wooden matches and stared at it intensely.
"Give that to me!" William snapped quickly, eager to light the place ablaze.
Giving him the match and box, stepping out of his way, he looked around the room in a calculated way. His eyes going back and forth and peering down at the camera system.
"The fire can't start from in here, we need to go to room seven and it will look like the arcade had an electrical break which ultimately started the fire." William declared.
"Smart...alright, I'll follow you."
Turning to me and giving his best smirk, William lead me out of the office and down the hall giving me the Springtrap power walk.
But when we reached the hall that showed on cam eight, William came to a halt.
He stood frozen in his place, it seemed like he had shut down, but I knew he hadn't because for as small as it was, the twitch in his fingers gave him away as he stared forward.
Breathing a sigh, I cautiously moved past him to see what was so daunting to make a literal possessed machine paralyzed. But when I did, I too came to a stop
The children...
Simultaneously, flashing lights came over the attraction indicating the ventilation was shutting down. Slowly moving to stand in front of William, I let out a calming breath, breathing in the dust and damp air that was becoming stuffier by the second.
"Please, this doesn't have to harder than it is... we can all leave this place and you can rest! You don't have to be in pain anymore."
The children didn't move, they just continued to stare as my eyes frantically looked at each of them for any reaction or response.
But as I thought we would stare at the line of spirits forever, another figure appeared from behind them.
"You've got to kidding..." William let out a dark laugh.
"Hello Y/N.”

CHANGE ME CHAPTER SIX:
Warnings: Strong Language/Almost Death
Word Count: 1207
Staring the children down with a look of
'guurrrllll don't you do it!~', one by one, the spirits hesitantly disappeared.
After what felt like forever, I let go of my breath, letting out a labored exhale. Thinking over what had just happened and how quickly it escalated, my knees felt like they were about to give out on me any second. Begrudgingly letting the strangeness of the situation go, I turned to the distressed and nearly keeled over animatronic.
"Mr-...um...William... ar-re you okay?" I spoke with my voice quaking. All the power of it dissipated as soon as the the children vanished into the sickeningly heavy air.
As rigid as a metal wire, William still sat with his head twitching at random moments. A movement that seemed so unrealistic;
"How is he doing that...?" I whispered to myself.
I watched him intently, his mechanical body making ungodly sounds every time he convulsed. Causing my face to slightly upturn in disgust knowing there was a over a thirty year old dead body in that suit.
Slowly regaining composure, I stood up straight thanking whatever gave me the stomach for this shit.
But as I continued to stare, something... something somewhere in my brain told me to go to him.
So without thinking, I moved towards him...
My legs moved on their own will. Every synapse that told them to stop, backfired in my own brain.
"I need to help him." I breathed like it was part of the vital action.
What made me think such an un-intelligent thought?
Such a maddening mindset to have in that moment....
But I continued forward, my mind savagely ripping me away from the dangers which I approached with every pace....
But I still didn't listen.
"Run~" Step.
"Go back~" Step.
"You will be like them~" Step.
But I didn't stop until I stood right in front of him.
"This isn't righteousness Y/N... this is insanity. Unforgivable madness! Which HE caused. How is fixing this your responsibility?!" I internally screamed.
But just like most things in my mind, I ignore.
Crouching down to my knees, I nervously put out my hand. Reaching towards him hopefully calming whatever made him twitch. But as I reached the destroyed head of the suit. The twitching completely stopped.
"Oh good you sto-...wait..." I mumbled
After realizing what I fell into to, it was too late, "Son of a-" and in that moment, I was interrupted by a quick and strong hand to the throat,
"Bit-ch" I rasped.
Without missing a beat, William fluidly stood up. His hand around my neck constricting the air I desperately wanted to breathe.
I choked and gasped for air, as I tried to rip myself out of his grasp, which resulted in a low rumbling chuckle erupting from the dead mechanical rabbit,
Or the...
"SpRinGtRaP or wh-a-aever you are call-led!" I hissed out, "I tol-...d you I coul-d hel-p!" My face falling numb as I spoke, the words becoming harder and harder to pronounce.
"That is not how this works~I must admit, that little trick you did with those little nuisances was actually entertaining! But it doesn't mean anything you do will help me magically change...
Letting out a struggled whine, Springtrap looked down to my name tag in amusement. If at any point I could sense a smug looking grin it was then.
"You're quite naive Lilly...~ Thinking everyone can change is foolish. Unfortunately for you, you thought I was one who could..." His spoke in with such coy-mock, his words stinging my ego and wiping my pride clean in one sentence.
Feeling weaker and weaker, Springtrap swung me around by the neck with such ease it reminded of a child with a rag doll.
By this time, the darkness lurking at the edge of my eyes was starting overwhelm my vision.
"Ple-a-ase... le-t me help...I wa-ant to he-lp you..." I whispered as the last bit of my life slipped from my body.
Darkness completely overtook my vision. My hearing became echoed and my body fell numb. As this feeling grew like a peaceful disease, I heard a muffled noise and then my body fell harshly to the floor, a cold bitter numbness enveloped me as it hit the ground. But as I grew accustom to the feeing of death , I could once more hear a scream of agony in William's voice ring out around the room; And the last of my hearing, his quivering words whispered,
"Help ME..."
"Ow."  Yep. That's all I said.  It is exactly what any normal person would say when you wake up after you get pummeled by a giant bunny.
"Wait..." I thought for a moment. "I got choked OUT by a giant bunny..."
"OH~ I should be dead!" I finally rasped out.
That's right.
I remembered.
I brought Springtime or whatever he is goes by now into my office.
Then the dead children appeared. (Disappeared)
Then I died. Or at least I thought I did....
Yep. That is exactly what happened.
Finally after having a long drawn out conversation with myself, I tentatively opened my eyes. The light of the room toying with my vision causing a migraine to form as I awoke.
"For god's sake... this-... this is what I get for doing what I do..." I sighed as I pushed my limp and heavy body up from the grimy floor with a rugged sigh.
Sitting up fully, I scanned the room which happened to be empty. The little fan on my desk whirling and the stale air somewhat feeling less humid
"He tries to kill me then pussy's out...one Hell of a serial killer..." I grumble lowly trying not to get him to change his mind.
Wobbling over to my desk I check the time and just about shriek,
"It's nearly six!" I exclaim.
Great. An entire night wasted by me laying on the floor  literally dying. Congratulations Y/N.
Packing up my stuff and fully disappointed in myself for not using my bat, I walked down the hall.
Was I supposed to stay in my office until six o-clock?
Yes.
Do I really care?
No.
Strutting down the hall with my bat in my bag, I walked to the exit passing the heavy metal door that most definitely had a William Afton on the other side.
Searing with rage, I beat my tiny fist against the thick door,
"I was trying to help you ungrateful asshole!" I hissed, kicking the door with uncontrollable anger which vibrated in response.
"I'm coming back tomorrow and you better get your shit together before I beat it out of you!"
And with a final smack to the door, I stormed out of the attraction with highest amount of 'bitchiness' I could possibly expel.
Locking the up the exit, I made my way to my car, darkness painting the parking lot in a calm indigo hue.
Turning to face the attraction, the sun was starting to rise behind it and I sharply exhaled with a sneer on my face.
"You can't get rid of me... I'm just getting fucking started."

CHANGE ME CHAPTER FIVE:
Warnings: None
Word Count: 1953
Thud
Sauntering into the attraction, the door slammed behind me.
The crash of rusted, heavy metal screeching against itself shattered the eerie silence of the ill-lit building.
Turning around, I locked the door behind me and sternly walked to my office. I had only gotten three hours of sleep so I was thoroughly exhausted and not wanting to deal with any bullshit possibly coming my way.
When I walked into the office, my uniform was folded neatly on the desk in front of me. Tossing my bag down, I picked up the clean, sharp-steamed shirt and the black pressed pants.
I studied the uniform, actually impressed with how nicely pressed it was. Looking around, I didn't want to go into the dingy bathroom that most definitely had critters crawling around in it and probably twenty different diseases coating this poorly constructed stalls. So I just began to undress in the office.
Because honestly, it was almost midnight, no one was here with me at this pathetic attraction and two... if someone were here, they would get the lovely metal bat that I possibly hid strategically in my duffel bag, totally not because I was ready to beat the shit out of a possibly murderous bunny or anything...
So humming a happy tune, I stripped down to only my under clothing.
Sliding on my dress pants and buttoning up my shirt, I looked at my reflection in the thick glass that separated me from the foreboding hallway.
Though my face was outlined, I couldn't see much detail except my slightly messy hair that was pulled back into a ponytail. The pieces of hair that framed my face bounced as I turned my head and adjusted my outfit.
Setting my hands down on the desk in finality, I looked down at the security guard hat right in front of my hand. Biting my lip with a tired smirk, I sighed placing it on my head and staring into the glass once more. But this time, I could almost see the determination in my light eyes,
"Let's do this..."
2:24am
Time inched by.
I was fighting to keep my eyes open as I stared at the cameras so intensely that I was starting to develop a headache.
"So much for an exciting job... " I sighed, quoting the guy on the phone.
"I was hoping for a little bit of action..." I grumbled as I stared at the heavy door near the entrance, that held nock-off Bugs Bunny.
All of a sudden, my cameras flicker off and a loud slam of a door erupts from the distilled silence.
"Ho ho... that's what I'm talking about~" I growl, a smirk overcoming my face as my cameras flicker back on like nothing had happened.
"There you are..."
He was there.
He stood leaning forward, his hand against the wall to steady him. His robotic frame twitching and heaving like if he were breathing. Imitating the simple human action.
Slowly looking up, his head twitched violently every couple of seconds. But after a moment of gaining control of the uncontrollable spasms, he tilted his head and turned to the camera.
The disheveled and torn apart appearance drew away from the wall and slowly limped towards the camera. If he didn't have a permanent grin, it would spread across his face like a disease. I could almost see the gears in his head turning. Obviously metaphorically.
"He knows I'm here..." I whispered with a slight urgency.
Looking around for something to help me, or to keep me safe, I could hear the heavy clanking footsteps in the halls. I slid over the the cameras again and flipped through them to see that he was now in the vents.
"Oh fuck that." I said quickly intercepting him and my office, which evidently caused the air quality button to start flashing.
After rebooting the vents and searching for PeePaw Afton, I then thought about the reason I got this job.
"I'm here to talk to him! Fix things! Not run away."
Turning my head to the left stood the intercom, grabbing it quickly and flipping on the switch, the speakers in the attraction screeched before going down to a high-pitched hum.
"William Afton." I spoke out.
The fast paced footsteps ceased, relieving me slightly knowing that I had a least a moment before the serial killer made on with his merry way.
"My name is Y/N L/N...I know who you are... and what you have done. But I have not come here to lecture you on any of that. I come to help. Come to help you even... Now... I will strike you a bargain...You come to my office and we will talk, I will help you and the children that are still here escape from this Hell of a place...but my one exception is, I am to be untouched. You hurt me in any way and the deal is off.
Spirits, you, objects... anything. I will not help you. I will leave here even if force is required and I will be gone you will never see me again. You will be stuck here. Do you understand?...." My stern voice rang out.
I hadn't noticed but my hands were trembling on the base of the microphone. The entire place was silent and the lack of activity was starting to unsettle me.
Slowly switching off the microphone, the humming stopped and I could finally think clearly again.
I grabbed my bag and shuffled threw my clothes that I had taken off earlier and unwrapped my bat just in case.
Taking it out and resting it in my hand, I then realized what I was doing.
"This is insane... you're insane Y/N..." I whispered incredulously.
Setting my bag down shoving it under the desk, I got a unsettling feeling that crawled up my spine.
"Get up."  A voice whispered in my head.
Complying, I stood up slowly.
Knowing that someone was on the other side of the glass, I kept my eyes level. When I got up above the desk my heart caught in my throat, the ragged rabbit stood on the other side of the glass.
His tattered body heaved as a wheezing sound escaped from the corpse inside.
I don't know much time passed as we stared at each other. Neither of us broke eyes contact, and I dared not to blink, almost afraid he would be gone if I were to do so.
It's him...
You found him...
As I studied my golden guest, I noticed that his hand was placed on the glass before me to sturdy himself.
All of the spring locks of the suit, the stray wires, and the remnant body still placed... well...stuck inside the suit, was visible throughout his body.
Taking my hand, I slowly placed it on my side of the glass opposite of  him.
His eyes flickered down to see my hand mimicking his. Switching his glance back up to me, calculating orbs peered into my calm ones.
"I'm here to help... come inside." I said with a soothing and sturdy tone looking over to the door.
Taking a deep breath, I turned back to the glass. I was was expecting to see the same animatronic features, but I was met with empty space from where he was just a moment ago. Stepping back from the glass quickly, I whipped my head towards the doorway,
"Wow... you're kinda tall..." I said a bit nervously trying to keep my composure.
His body stood unproportionally, shoulders slumped forward to a hunched state, but even then he was nearly Seven feet tall.
Awkwardly but kindly I put out a hand and gesture around the room.
"Uh well... make yourself welcome..."
Flicking his eyes around, Springtrap almost looks at me disgustedly as I slowly take my seat once again.
"Pardon me! I almost forgot! I know I just said my name, but I'm Y/N..." I smiled kindly towards the stoic animatronic.
"You said you could free and rid me of those filthy little shits..." William finally spoke.
"I can." I nodded "I have done a multitude of research on you Mr. Afton." I spoke clearly with an underlying fascination.
"I could care less what you know about me, but what I want, is out of this place! Away from those... THINGS. Now if you can do it, do it. If you cannot, you are useless to me." He spoke with such venom.
I could sense the pent up anger and the annoyance of something that was just out of ear shot for only him to hear as he shook his head to be rid of the sound.
"It will take a bit of time... but the way to free you is to burn the place to the ground... and I know. Simple right? But just trust me... it will work." I said looking at the more shaken animalized William.
As I spoke, his head began to twitch and his hands were pressing into the skull of the spring lock suit.
"Mr. Afton...?" I asked, a strange amount of concern taking over my features as I drew closer to him.
All of a sudden, the face plate of the suit flew open showing the decaying remains of a dead man.
I sucked in a quick breath as William fell to his knees gripping onto the mangled fur that was left on the suit as he made ears splitting screeches.
Hastily covering my sensitive ears, I slowly approached him. Standing before him in his vulnerable state.
"Help ME!" He screamed.
Taken aback but still kneeling in front of him, I swallowed hard before I put my hands on his head, his head twitching and spasming under my grasp. Whispering a chant to keep whatever was bothering him away he still shook and screeched, as I continued to chant I could then hear what he was hearing.
No....
Never.
You did this!
You won't be free!
You are GOING to pay!
"Enough!" I screamed into the attraction.
Suddenly, the voices went silent.
Racking in a labored 'breath', William began to heave violently. He smashed his fist to the ground causing it for a split second to rumble around us.
Quickly standing up to get out of the way, I noticed a group of young kids, but something was off... very off. One, it was four in the morning and no kid should be be here, and two, their pale ghastly complexions and sunken eyes told me these weren't some random children wanting to visit a night guard and her cracked out bunny accomplice.
"He hurt us..." One wailed,
"Don't you understand?!" Another cried.
"She will never know... never know the pain.." The last one seemed to envelop me in a reverberation of the child's voice.
"I understand what happened... but no... I can't and probably won't understand your pain. But I do know something. I am here and will free you all!" I said strongly stepping towards the kids, not letting the fear of the situation overcome me.
"You may not agree with me..." I said looking over to where William was watching me talk to his haunting past,
"Even though the things he did were dastardly, he too has served his time here in this Hellhole..." Stating bravely, I stood between the kids and William hoping that the tension would soon evaporate.
"Now it is time to get you all out of here so no more pain is afflicted on anyone else..." I said softly now looking into the mourning children's eyes.
"No more pain... just...just peace... for you all...."

CHANGE ME CHAPTER FOUR:
Warnings: None
Word Count: 551
I peeled out of the parking lot as fast as I could. The pain in my head becoming almost unbearable.
That was him...
The killer.
That was William Afton.
After all the research...all the time searching...preparing...training...and moving, to fucking Utah for God's sake!...
"I run AWAY?!"
I laughed feverishly as my hands trembled against the steering wheel.
Why was he there?
Was he really still conscious?
Are the children still there?
I had so many questions and zero answers.
"I just saw a corpse of THE serial killer I have been studying for THREE years...and I found him and is marinating in the closet of my NEW JOB!" I screamed at nobody in particular.
I pulled into the parking lot of my apartment building and swerved into the closest parking spot available. Just wanting to go hide away in my room, I hastily turned off the car and got out slamming my door behind me.
Out of sheer want to distract my brain, I looked to see if Pat was outside, waiting for the moment I wouldn't expect her presence and ask me a question out of nowhere, scaring the shit out of me...but she wasn't there. Her blinds were closed and not even her ash tray was out.
"Smoking inside today..." I mumbled with a head shake.
Unlocking the my apartment, I went in a shut the door quickly behind me, running to my room like a teenager coming home from school.
I sat my things down on my nightstand and then crawled up onto my bed and hugged myself until I felt somewhat in control. My headache was finally subsiding a little bit.
But nonetheless, I still lay curled up in a ball with my brain running a million miles per hour.
"You found him! This is what you wanted... you're going to talk to him, get your answers, and then burn the place down with him inside!" I exclaimed, talking to myself.
What if I can help him...?
A stray thought pierced through the chaos of my mind.
'What?! No! Plus how could I even do that?... I mean I could- NO! How could I even think that?! He murdered kids! This is Karma. Everyone else goes free and he stays.' I stated in my mind as opposing thoughts fought.
'But what if he could help me...? Fix HIS own mistakes and so no one suffers! He paid for what he did to them. He has been there for thirty years in purgatory for God sakes! If he regrets anything at all I bet he does now....' I thought.
Wait.
That's it!
Sitting up quickly, I hurriedly looked for my notebook and started to frantically write down my plan.
The children want to be set free and pass on. Though William caused this, he could help me fix every horrible thing he's ever done, and maybe... just maybe... I can free him as well?! Everything can go back to normal and no more vengeful spirits or disasters would occur.
I laid back against my bed...rethinking and going through my plan...working out any loopholes and loose ends.
"Well... I have until eleven pm tomorrow to get this in check. Then... I will set the ball rolling.

CHANGE ME CHAPTER THREE:
Warnings: None
Word Count: 2233
Let me tell you, the scariest part of this entire story... was signing my safety waver... but let's backtrack.
After I left the apartment, I headed over to the entire reason I moved to Utah.
'Fazbear's Frights: Fazbear's Entertainment'
Yep.
A horror attraction based on a pizza place with a dark past of murder, tragedy, sadness, and horror.
Yep. That's where I wanted to work...
As I pulled into the dingy parking lot of the attraction, I erupted with nervousness. Was it nervousness? Or was it excitement?.... I couldn't tell but it was almost teeth chattering badly.
Exiting the car, I fixed my clothes and hair and made my way determinedly over to my existential doom.
With upon entering the building, I was hit with the smell of mold, gas, and an underlying odor that I couldn't quite place.
'What a shit hole....' I thought to myself as I closed the door.
Looking to my right I saw a door and reached for the handle, thinking it was the security office.
"Ahem. Wrong way. Down the hall and on your left is the office..." A voice said over the intercom.
Jumping in surprise, I looked around until I saw a camera with a blinking red light.
Well, that makes sense.
"I-uh! Sorry!" I yelled to the voice embarrassed by my actions.
Now knowing that wasn't the office and someone was expecting my presence, I followed the voice's directions
and made my way down the hall. I eventually made it to see the security guard that presumably talked to me sitting in a room that had a big window separating us.
The guy smiled at me and waved me over to the door which was just a big opening in the side of the room.
Nodding, I made my way over to him,
"Hi, I'm sorry for our last short interaction! But I'm here for an interview?" I asked shyly, staring at the guard in the chair.
Chuckling a bit, the guy waved me off in understanding.
"Yeah, I was just about to close up actually. We close early on Sunday, but my boss told me you would be coming in for an interview! By the way, names Tommy."
He said, extending a hand out for me to shake,
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Tommy! My name is Y/N, and yes... I am here to apply for the night guard position."
Nodding, he looked me up and down with curiosity.
"No offense Y/N and I will be real with you for a second, but what makes you want to be a night guard, especially at any Freddy Fazbear's establishment?" Tommy questioned with a smirk.
Now feeling caught off guard, knowing I didn't look the sort to want to be any kind of night guard at all, and of all places here.
I swallowed the lump in my throat and looked up at the taller man in front of me,
"Well...I have my license in private security, but truthfully...I want to see what all of this local legend is all about.  I want to see how much is all myth. Plus I might enjoy a bit of the fun by saying I work at the only Faszbear's establishments and tell about the horrifying hauntings!" I said with as much confidence as I could muster.
Tommy laughed, nodding along with what I was saying. his tilted his, smiling at me like he was searching for something but couldn't find it.
He finally just leaned his head back as he relaxed into his rolling chair
"Well, to be honest, I just started working here as the day guard...
Keeping watch of things in this dinky place, it's the most boring, but alsomet time-relieving job ever! But, if you are a night owl, I would suppose the night shift is too," he said nonchalantly taking a bite of what looked like a croissant.
"A night owl I am..." I said chucking, "So, I get the whole day guard thing... with all the people and just keeping them out of props, but why is there a night guard position? What is there to guard?" I inquired.
"Well..." Tommy dragged, as he finished chewing. "Pretty much the same thing...So people don't come stealing or touch anything. Because believe it or not, the rumors are taken seriously, people out there really see what they can get their hands on. This blows my mind but...I guess it's easy picking." Tommy laughed.
"I suppose! I mean, I told my neighbor I was going to apply and she flipped just hearing the name of the place. So I guess it does carry weight to its name."
Tommy put up a hand, gesturing to what I had said to emphasize his point,
"That's why we have a night guard."
"Which speaking of," I continued. "What do I have to do to get the job?" I questioned.
"You already got it!" Tommy chuckled with a mouth full of pastry.
"Oh... wow! Just like that?!" I asked astonished.
"Yep." A smirk came across his lips. "No one was going to apply for it, so you got it."
Nodding slowly with a big grin coming across my lips, I looked at my new coworker in joy, "Well thank you so much! I promise not to disappoint!" I giggled.
After Shaking Tommy's hand, I pulled away to sign the contract that officially said, "I would be working for the Fazbear Franchise."
Without even reading it; I signed the form.
Handing it to Tommy with a grin, he took it back.
He studied thoroughly, taking in the fact I just signed the Fazbear safety waiver without care.
With a change of expression, his face went grim. Suddenly, he tossed me a small object. Catching it before it hit my face, I snatched it with my small palm.
Keys.
"Since this is the job of your life...You can start tonight. Lock up the place so I can go home. On Monday evening, come in before eleven thirty and your uniform with be on your desk."
All of a sudden, Tommy's mood switched.
He dropped the friendly persona and a disdainful look overtook his tired features. Grabbing his stuff he waltzed out of the room, bumping me as he passed.
"Glad to know there's going to be a foot up your ass from now on..." I sneered, turning back at him with sass.
Yelling through the plexiglass, he stared at me with an irritated but a disappointed expression,
"I don't know why you applied, but it's not some fun girly playtime...it's- ugh! It's a night guard position! The worst part is Y/N...You just signed your life away to this shitty company..." Tommy whispered the last part, looking incredulously at me and shaking his head. With that, he briskly turned and left, exiting the building.
Standing there in confusion, babbling as I was trying to find words for that strange, and dare I say and out of the blue encounter.
Not caring anymore, I sat my stuff down on the desk and blew off the remaining croissant crumbs that clung to the table because of the moist environment.
"Well isn't everyone just peachy in this town?" I said, dripping with sarcasm.
Not putting any more thought into it, I just brushed it off. This industry had a dark past. So with it being the way it is, that is a huge factor in how people think about it.
Pulling into the rolling chair, I sat down and looked at the tablet Tommy was skimming over when he was checking the cameras.
Flipping through the numbered cams still trying to figure everything out, I looked around for something to help me. A notebook was placed near the far left corner of the desk and was flipped open to a page with scribbled handwriting,
'1-5 of training tapes are on message box on phone, tell Tommy to listen to them before Monday'
"Convenient~"
Smiling, I slid over to the phone that looked absolutely ancient. My grandparents used to have one as a house phone so it replays the messages they missed during the day.
It doesn't take a genius to know that there the red flashing button that reads, 'Missed Messages' meant that you were missing messages!
So I clicked it, and the guy on the other end sounded like his only language was surfing and Mary Jane. And he was a hundred times more excited than Tommy sounded about working here.
Leaning back I wondered the soul's reason he wasn't, all that motivated, but then again, who is...
I kept listening to the messages, as he went through what to do, and how great of a job I had.....
and then my ears perked up at one specific sentence.
"But dude! I have a huge surprise! We found one, a real one!"
"A real what?!..." My pulse quickened as I looked for the repeat button.
I replayed the tape and listened to the petty excuse the guy threw out, saying he had to go. He wasn't supposed to disclose that information, but, it didn't matter now.
I looked over the cameras once again and saw nothing.
"Where would it even be?!" I scanned the tablet frantically.
Then I saw it.
The door!
The large grey door that I had tried to open before Tommy stopped me. That was where it was! It was right by the exit and conveniently so. With that, I picked up my stuff and the keys to the building and walked out of the office.
As I made my way through the hall, I suddenly felt a strange sensation alight against my forehead. It was like a pulsating sensation, and it was almost bad enough to be a shitty headache.
"They need to air filter this place or something... the mold is unbelievable in here!" I muttered rubbing my frontal lobe trying to get the annoying feeling to tame down.
"It's just your allergies... it will go away when you leave." I sighed lifting my head now walking with purpose.
I made it to the large heavy grey door from earlier. I stared in front of me suddenly feeling the sensation in my head grow to a level I could hear my heartbeat in my ears.
Mold my ass...
I reached for the handle and turned its rusty knob. It screeched but it didn't budge.
"Of course..."
I jiggled the handle once more, before running my thumb over the key hole.
"I have something for that!"
Rummaging through my purse, I pulled out my lone but lucky bobby pin. Grinning from ear to ear I aligned the Bobby pin into the key hole.
"Come on buddy, don't fail me now!"
Pushing the pin in, a sharp click sounded from the door. I quickly stood up, and pulled my Bobby pin fro the keyhole and put it back into my purse.
"I still got it." I chuckled softly to myself as I turned the rusty metal knob letting the heavy door creak open.
I was met with darkness, it enveloped my vision. It took a moment to adjust my eyes but it didn't take long before I could see.
There. There it sat.
In the darkness, the room's only illumination being the dank hall light in from behind me.
But I could still see an old, mangled, and torn-looking rabbit.
This was the "real one"...
Stepping into the room, I approached the rot colored animatronic, and unexpectedly, I was also met with a horrid...debilitating smell.
I lunged back in repulsion.
"Holy fucking shit... oh- oh my God..."
This was odor I smelled earlier, only this was intensified by a hundred. It was secreting the odor as if you could see the waves of it come from the suit .
Along with the smell, my head felt like it was about to explode.
Something wanted me here. Something wanted me to find this. I remembered from my classes with the medium, the ways spirits can communicate are strange and sometimes sensations are how they do it.
I flipped on the switch by the door and I nearly gasped. Looking at the disheveled suit, I shakily pulled out a picture from my pocket. It was a picture of two happy-looking men standing proud in front of their animatronic creations.
The first man was a built and the gruffer looking of the two. He had broad shoulders, a beard, and he wore a checkered flannel, proudly standing in front of a golden bear.
Henry Emily... one of the co-founders of Fazbear's and originally the creator of Fredbear's Family Diner.
The second man, however, was much leaner and charming looking, but something about it seemed off, he had dusty brown hair and a large smile that seemed just a bit to big for his face standing in front of a golden rabbit animatronic.
William Afton.
The second and main co-founder of the two of Fazbear's entertainment and the founder of Afton Robotics.
Looking back down at the rabbit, I squinted my eyes and tilted my head with a small smirk.
It was him.
It was undoubtedly him.
Pushing the picture back into my pocket I crouched in front of the horrendous -smelling robot and stared into his lifeless eyes.
"Good afternoon Mr. Afton..."
