what always get me is that is basically the exact moment Ren goes from humoring his sales pitch / threat attempts to completely shutting Scar down

i’m really enjoying all the tags on this that point out Martyn rlly annunciates the i sound in Ren’s title when he says it—even tho m’lord is winning, i’ll probably use either milord or mi’lord simply bc that’s true and Martyn does stress that sound

ive just realized i have not been even remotely consistent with how to spell the title martyn calls ren in lamplight and i switch like every fic. i want to standardize it but i wanna see what the vibe is on preferred spelling before i do. so, treebark fans of the world,

just attended a bonfire amd all i could think was "wow... this is just like lamplight... would be so cool if thers was a guy in those flames..."

i also was at a bonfire somewhat recently and my one friend who Knew kept just Looking at me every time i got too excited about it
