This has too much toki pona for me to want to translate it, sorry Inli speakers, I must study for my apes (environmental science not the monkeys). In terms of grammar, I know I missed a "ni" before the colon and don't necessarily need quotes. "Pali ali" is fun in mouth not "pali ale." Also, page two is where ilo Lasosom (from lysosome) was born, most of the page is pipi Kasape with a basketball though.
jan pi toki Inli li sona ala e lipu ni. ni tan mi wile e sona Epi (AP) Epajameta Sajen. mi sona e ni: mi toki wile e "ni" monsi ":" e """ wile suli ala. pali ali li musi lon uta. pali ale li musi ala lon uta. lipu tu li jo e ilo Lasosom e pipi Kasape. ilo Lasosom li kin. pipi Kasape li jo e sike musi.

This page is where I named pipi Kasape and made him like bugs. This was from a while ago so I must admit my toki pona is flawed. On page one, "jan pi olin pipi" (top right) means "bug liker" to me, and "pipi li pona... ken la..." was meant to mean "i like bugs... maybe..." but I don't think that's grammatically correct; "pipi li pona" combined with the expression is enough to convey the intended message. On page two, all of the bugs at the top are tokiponized and I liked pipi Kasape (grasshopper) the most as a name. The text underneath that says "pakala... ona li sona mi olin pipi a" is meant to mean "frick... they know I like bugs." I'm open to criticism/corrections of my toki pona since I'm a beginner.

One image blocked for the same reason as last time. The top left and bottom right pictures on the right page are inspired by me eating burnt green beans and meatball that tastes like tree respectively. This is also where Kasape becomes a bug fan.

Ending my inactivity not by putting an entire sketchbook out but by scheduling a few pages a day B)
Here are the first few drawings of pipi Kasape; I gave a face to friend's birthday invitation bird; the skeleton drawing I am not fond of is upon request from a friend; one drawing is covered up. I started here cause this is when I first got some nice highlighters that I use for the rest of the book.
At this point Kasape had no name, was a storyteller, and couldn't walk (because on the first page in the first image, his hand looked weird if he was standing up normally). One part is also covered up here. I try to roughly match the colors and lines of the sketchbook with my mouse on kleki so that the section doesn't stand out, but it makes me want to mention it here. Underneath both of the covered bits are human characters that don't match with the rest of the page. The "am i not green enough for you???" is due to a friend saying they all looked yellow when they are clearly green...

All fanart I have made of Aritya and Muguet (ocs of @othertragedy) and liked in chronological order B)
(warning: most of the art is directly referenced from Eureka, Sound Man, and tf2 fanart all by pavk (othertragedy); also i think there are about 80 individual characters drawn, only 9 images though)

I've tried to make this poll before but let's try again with a big
(please carefully read the full question before voting)
#please just have a little ipa thing or something......... i know most of your audience doesn't know it but i cry#for me both doll and brawl have /ɑ/ so i can't give a good answer to your poll#also i feel the caught-cot merger is pretty common and the reason doll is more common is since its higher up and is spelt with an “o”#but i may be biased and don't know a ton about british accents

someone asked me a while ago how I draw slugcats and I wanted to make a huge guide going into how I rationalize their anatomy but I’ve been so busy w college I haven’t been able to touch it in like a month! So I decided to post these few notes I had! One day I’ll get back and make an entire guide but for now have these little notes :)
Animals I tend to gravitate towards for slugcat references are: otters, weasels, cats, and monkeys!
Also this isn’t me saying this is what their anatomy is, more so how I think of it and what landmarks I use when I draw!
