“You would think the odds of being collided with in this town would go down with time, but I continue to be proven wrong!” Wes stated as a blonde barreled down the street and bumped into him. He huffed, looking at her before furrowing his brow in confusion. “Hildegard? Sorry, Lily, right?” He said.

she rolled her eyes, “on on days that end in ‘y’” the blonde wasn’t too fond of the man. the voice of the male grew louder as he approached the duo. lily looked at the college professor “do you want to be the reason i get hit with a vervain dart? because if not, you’ll do so well as to pretend i was never here” a faux smile slid across her lips before she whispered an incantation that cloaked her from the others.

“As well as one could possibly be.” Hayley mumbled, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she ran a hand through her hair. Did she appear to be okay? Sure, but appearances were deceiving and she had become fairly skilled at hiding her emotions over the years. With the entire ordeal surrounding the sirens and everything else that had been going on, she had a lot on her plate and was getting by as best as she could. “Sure.” She replied with a hint of a smile, unable to tell the other no after seeing the confidence and excitement Lily was radiating. Her hazel hues watched the younger hybrid, keeping a small smile on her lips as her arms folded across her chest. It was admittedly amusing to watch and the flowers that her magic had produced werequite stunning. And she did appreciate the effort. “They’re beautiful, thank you. I think somelilies from Lily are just what the house needed.” The brunette spoke warmly, taking the bouquet from the blonde before stepping aside and welcoming her into the home. “By all means, come in. I need to find a vase to put these in.”

“you’re welcome” she replied sincerely as she ambled into the foyer, her body happy to feel the change in temperature. virginia winters were brutal and lily wasn’t exactly the best at bundling up. her normal attire consisting of ripped something and tops that exposed her midriff. though she wore a jacket, sensible ( for her ) jeans, and boots, her head, neck, and hands were left bare. her normal attire consisting of ripped something and tops that exposed her midriff. the house was warm, but lacked a certain feeling of coziness. it was probably just her. after being sought after more than she could count, the youngster adopted a sort of alertness that stuck. though she knew they were the one ones in the house, lily always kept the possibility of someone coming home while she was there, as a nearby thought. times were rare where you’d find lily completely care-free ( nowadays at least ) . “while you’re looking for that vase, want to find me a reason as to why you were acting like your brain was melting that other night ? oh and i don’t think i ever apologized for smacking into you. sorry, no brakes.”

Anya caught her balance and steadied herself and Lily, looking her up and down. “What happened?” She thought for a moment, “Do I even want to know?”

“how about we run first, talk later ? ” lily looked back, the male was following behind her still shooting off his debilitating darts. she took anya’s hand and ran the opposite direction with her. in between breaths lily gave anya the short version “slept with his little sister. oops”

“Hey I may not be a natural but I still passed.” Giggling when she felt her sisters arms around her. “No way, I want them to say yes, not get frustrated and tell me to go home.”

“such a smart cookie” she gave her sister a loving squeeze before kissing the top of her head, releasing her arms, and moving to her side. “hey, did you hear that our brother is a walking deadman”

Lily was definitely the last person Maddie was expecting to run into when she was going for a run, but this was who she accidentally bumped into, tumbling on the ground for a moment. “Geez, give a warning Lil.” Maddie yelled out before she noticed that there were darts being shot towards Lily. “Come on Lily.” Maddie grabbed her hand and vamped them away from the crazy man who was shooting at Lily. “Gonna explain?”

once they were safe from the male’s debilitating darts, lily simply shrugged “i slept with his little sister” the words rolled casually off her tongue. she’d been in these situations before and this wasn’t going to be the last time. “he caught me jumping out the window” lily took note of maddie’s attire, “so, out for a run ? ”

“Oh whoops.” Scarlett repeated, shaking her head as she steadied herself on her feet after the blonde bumped into her. Lifting her head to properly look at Lily, her eyes did a quick once over of the hybrid. “Do I even want to know what you’re getting yourself into this time?”

“well this time it’s a who not a what” the echo of lily’s name was heard, loud footsteps rapidly making their way towards them “a who with a  r e a l l y  pissed off brother” she peered over scarlett’s shoulder and quickly cloaked herself. “at first i thought he was a homophobe, then i realized nope. he hates me” she laughed, stopping mid laugh as he walked up, asking scarlett if she’d seen lily.

as the male figure approached his front door, lily already had her lower body suspended out of the window. the sound of the door shutting closed echoed through the house followed by the male’s voice calling for lily’s female friend. lily lowered herself out the window, hanging by just her arms. footsteps could be heard climbing up the stairs. the two girls said their goodbyes and lily pushed off against the house, dropping two stories, landing gracefully on her feet. upon landing in the front yard something was thrown at her head, it was her hat. she must of forgotten it in the room. lily looked up to thank them when she saw the male waving at her, gun in his hand. he shot. he missed. but it didn’t take lily long to realize that it wasn’t bullets he was shooting at her, it was vervain darts. YIKES ! the blonde took off down the street, bumping into someone in front of the neighboring home “oh  w h o o p s ”

“I’m gonna tell him you said that.” She stuck her tongue out at her sister. “If I ever get dirt on him that could be a fun blackmail. Of course I can drive, not very well but I can. I only failed four times before passing.”

lily gave her sister a look. eyebrow raised, lips pursed. “uh huh..” her features quickly softened into a light laugh “well if they get you a car it’s not going to be me everyone needs to worry about” she joked, hugging her sister from behind. “i got some time before i have to meet someone, i can walk you home if you want or are you popping this car question while their at work”

After giving both of the twins a bath and changing them into clean attire, the hybrid had rocked the two littlest tribrids to sleep before settling them in their cribs. Her slender frame stood in the nursery for a few moments, simply admiring the two little ones as her arms folded across her chest and a trace of a smile curled onto her features. It amazed her how much they had grown over the past four months. “Sleep well, my littlest wolves.” Hayley whispered as she silently exited the nursery and closed the door quietly behind her. At the sound of a knock on her door, her brows knitted together in confusion and she suddenly became curious as to who it could be. It wasn’t as if anyone else aside from her and the twins were home, so if it were anyone looking for one of her kids, they’d be sadly disappointed. In a matter of seconds, she was standing in the foyer of her home and picked up on the familiar scent, swiftly opening the door to reveal Lily. “Well, what a surprise.”

once the door opened she quietly listened in to the soft sounds of the home. only two other heartbeats. not perfect, but good enough. she turned her attention to the alpha, “you seem well” she stated after observing the other for a moment. lily was unsure what to expect, the last time she saw hayley it seemed as if something was killing her from the inside out. as her mood shifted from anxious to relaxed, she remembered the seeds in her pocket. “want to see a magic trick ? ” carefully plucking them from their safe space, she held the hand full of seeds out in front of the other. “abra kadabra” she spoke with confidence, the seeds didn’t change. she kept her little faux serious attitude, face scrunched up in intense focus. “alakazam ! ” nothing. “just kidding, these,” the tiniest of smiles peeked the corners of her lips as she broke character and used her powers instead. the seeds grew into a beautiful bouquet of colored lilies. “are for you” with winter killing all the colors around town besides white and shades of brown and dark green, the young hybrid figured bright colors could only do a person good. “may i come in ? ”

Maddie rolled her eyes wondering what Lily was trying to show her. She definitely wasn’t sure if she wanted to be following Lily so deep into the woods as well. “Come on Lily, why don’t you just tell me where we’re going and I swear if you’re going to push me into the damn falls, I’m going to come after you.” She huffed.

“i’m sure you are” she looked around, she could hear the water from the falls becoming louder as they walked. lily was no stranger to threats, though she hardly ever made them herself, she’s heard plenty. “you are going too slow” she took maddie’s and and led her through the dead vegetation. the forest used to be so alive with color, now it was muted by the snow and cold. “okay now stop talking, and watch” she stood beside the mikaelson daughter and began reciting an incantation, repeating it over and over again. you could hear her smiling through her voice. lily was at ease. it was known that bad things happened around lily, especially if she wasn’t in the most pleasant mood. things would deteriorate. not even the hybrid could explain why, it was all just part of her curse she guessed. but what they didn’t know was that as much as things died around the hildegard, she could reverse it just as quickly. the forest around them began to change, grass grew back, flowers started to grow, life filled the space. she focused on the ground near maddie’s feet and urged a flower to grow taller than the rest. though the flower remaind the same size as the others, it’s stem kept climbing up. so high that it came face to face with the tribrid. “and that is for you” she nodded for maddie to pick it “for dating my little brother. just a little token of my appreciation. did i scare you a little ? ”

“Yeah me too.” She admitted. “But a horse could be fun, I don’t know where we’d keep it but I’ve wanted a pony since I was eight and riding around town on a horse would be so cool.”

a small smile emerged from her lips “if you want to ride around town on a horse, why not just jump on elliot ? ” lily bent over to smell the flowers isabella had in hand. it was nice to see a little pop of color in their snow covered town. she desperately wanted for spring to come. “wait, can you even drive ? ”

thoughts on the way your brother handled things with hayley and elijah?

“i wasn’t there. i don’t know exactly what happened, i just heard people’s versions of it. so i’m not quite sure if he handled it well or not. there’s just so many factors involved. but i will say that i am a private person. when i’m in a relationship, i like to keep it private. however, there’s a difference between privacy and secrecy. i would never keep my girlfriend a secret, but what we do on our own time is for us to know and for you to possibly see on porn hub never find out. get it ? ” @beauxhildegard @cresxentqueen @eliijahmiikaelson

have you ever wished you were part of another family?

“Why would I ever wish to be a part of another family when I have the best family in the world? My moms, my brothers, my sisters, they all mean everything to me and I’m way too attached. I think I depend on them way too much to ever think about being without them. Of course I’ve wondered what other families do, their family traditions, how they interact behind closed doors but that’s out of curiosity, not longing. I’m happy because I have them and I don’t think I could ever wish for anything more or less.”

“easy. Dog Moms. haha not what you’re looking for huh ? okay, first one is hayley, mostly because she gives really good gifts. KIDDING ( but not ). i like caroline, she treats me like a real person. remember that time with the vervain coffee ? yeah… good times good times. last one is representing the dad squad, KOL. why ? he’s  f u n n y . also, if he dies i die so i’d really like him to never do that.”

“out of the ones i haven’t yet… hmm. can i just dip myself into ( literally LOL ) every family ? jk too many. but okay so subtract the parents, boys… let’s see. whoops, forgot to subtract my sisters. GAG. alright i’d say lethe, probably the only way to get her to shut her mouth. maddie and sky, a t  t h e  s a m e   t i m e. haha omg could you imagine ?? i’m crying. don’t worry i know better.
