Burnout is different than your Human Design not-self theme... Burnout is "I'm so exhausted I don't want to do anything else" It's that feeling of wanting to shell away from the outside world + shut off your brain. It's deep, deep exhaustion. Your not-self is entirely different, but it still impacts your ability to bring in money. It's the bitterness from not feeling seen, heard or appreciated. It's the frustration from not being able to do what you want to do. Exhaustion from burnout is like a shield. It protects you from having to do anything else, including making more money. Your not-self theme is like a sword. It pierces through everything you do, regardless of what mask (or "armor") you have on. Your burnout shield blocks things from coming in. Your not-self sword pushes things away. Both of these interrupt your ability to make money. Because you're not in the openness of receiving. If you're in burnout, take care of your energy. Step away. Reset. Recharge. Do some self care. If you're in the not-self, recalibrate you energy. Redirect it. Find what's going on + why you're feeling the not-self theme. Unpopular Opinion: It's not always about the mindset. Granted, yes, your "I can do it, I can achieve it" mindset is VERY needed in order to propel you forward to take action. But sometimes, it really IS about the strategy + not the mindset. --> When your business isn't making consistent income, you don't yet have a proven marketing + sales strategy. So it *could* be your mindset, but if you're doing all the work around your mindset + you're not focusing on the strategy too... The scales are tipped + there's a gap. Consistent income + growing your business is a balance between 3 things: - Strategy - Mindset - Action If you're only focusing on Strategy, you won't have the can-do attitude or action to back it up. Leaving your genius unseen by the people you're trying to reach. If you're only focusing on the Mindset, you won't have the implementation or the process to back it up. Leaving you sitting around, waiting for it to fall into your lap. If you're only focusing on the action, you won't have the positive attitude to continue going when you hit a roadblock or the clarity of what to do, where to go, or the focus on a process that works. Leaving you feeling kicked around like a pinball in a pinball machine. And you can see how having only 2 of these 3 balanced creates a gap in the other as well. I've seen so much awareness on mindset + action. Writing compelling posts is easier when you know what's informing your messaging. It's not about what they get in terms of how many calls, how many modules, or even what those things are about. It's about how those help them overcome what they're facing. It's about what the light at the end of that tunnel is. It's about looking realistically at where they're at so you can understand the conversation they're in with themselves. For example, I include Human Design alignment, business strategy, and practical steps forward. But my audience already knows the steps. They get it in theory. They're self-motivated and intelligent. So they've found the information they need. But there's a disconnect between knowing and applying it. And that's where they're uncertain, worried, and overwhelmed. The parts they're wondering are: - How can I apply this? - What does that mean for ME? - Am I in alignment? - Does this business strategy work for my design? - Am I doing the business tasks that I'm meant to? - How can I tailor my business strategy and messaging to really speak to my soulmate clients? - How can I use Human Design for my business? - How can I hit the $5-10-20k goals I have without burning myself out? - What are the necessary steps I need where my business is at right now? What's the process? The thing is, until I see where my clients are at I their business and we do a deep dive, I can't give them the next steps that would help. Because it may not be a problem with their strategy, it could be their messaging. Or it could be their foundations. Or maybe it's their ICA. Or maybe it's their content strategy. There's a plethora of places where the disconnect could happen, but until I see behind the curtain of their business, I won't be able to help. So it's my job to make it compelling enough to show "Hey, I can help" through spicy🔥 messaging. So where are your people at? What are they thinking? How can you speak to them? P.S. Here's the fastest way you may be losing trust with your audience... I signed up for a freebie the other day with someone I'd never heard of. It was for a client onboarding template. (anyone else love templates?? 🙋‍♀️) It was exactly what I was looking for. I was excited! Not only am I a HUGE systems + process nerd, but I love the idea of saving time + energy #projectorvibes So I said yes, entered my email, + went scouring my email for it. I checked my inbox, my social folder, my promotional folder, my spam folder, random others folders JUST in case I missed it... But it wasn't anywhere to be found. It was late at night, so when I didn't receive an email just yet, I shrugged off the excitement + decided to check again the next day. The next day... same thing. So I sent the woman a DM on FB (where she had sent me the link) to see if there was something I missed. That's where everything went from excitement...to gross. Not only have I still not received it, but she read my message + DIDN’T respond. As a business owner, that completely rubbed me the wrong way. So I looked in my email one last time, checked the link she sent me initially to make sure I did everything correctly, + gave it another day. Still no freebie email. Still no response. →Though her marketing started getting to my email just fine. At this point, I felt used + manipulated. →Because after the freebie, there was a pop-up offer to buy something with no links to click "no, thank you" + move on. As a HD Projector business owner, you're empathetic + you feel the energy of others... But that doesn't mean you know WHY someone is feeling a certain way or why they have that energy about them. →What really happens is you're putting a story around them + their energy. And the truth is, that story is something you made up in your own mind. Your mind made it up likely because... 1. You have a huge heart + you want to help people in the best way possible 2. You want to show them that you respect their energy because this is what you want others to do for you 3. You want to be considerate + compassionate to the person in front of you But what actually is at the core of these things (what your mind is trying to hide) is that... →you're saying no to yourself first so they can't say no to you. I know you have the best intentions. I know you're trying to respect the person by feeling their energy to read them better. The ways you show up for others are showcased in your definition. The ways you empathize and guide are showcased in your openness. You won't be an expert for a while, but it's okay to be a beginner, intermediate, and just on the journey at all. Your sense of depth is unmatched at any level. You don't need to wait to speak, but you'll waste your energy if you don't feel seen before you speak. You are special. Truly needed. And wise beyond your years. Find what you constantly are interested in. Find where your heart leads you. Find what you can't stop talking or thinking about. That's your reign. That's your brilliance. Let everything else be.
