Presenting all six volumes of Ginny Weasley and the [insert bloody outrageous Hogwarts stuff that should never happen in a school here].
FINISHED! *slumps on the desk* Took me over a month to draw those x_x I love Ginny a lot, really. Her character grew on me as I read the books. (movies what movies)

Can we talk about the fact that pretty much all of the major MCU female leads have the same backstory....
Tumblr media
Black Widow: Brainwashed since childhood to be an assassin, driven by guilt and a redemption arc, also dead parents
Tumblr media
Gamora: Brainwashed since childhood to be an assassin for Thanos, guilt complex, redemption arc, oh and Thanos killed her parents
Tumblr media
Nebula: See above (I mean above the image of Nebula, as in the above description.)
Tumblr media
Scarlet Witch: Brainwashed since childhood to brain-f*ck people for Hydra, guilt complex and redemption arc and also dead parents
Tumblr media
Mantis: Raised from a hachling to brain-f*ck people for Ego (who lured and murdered thousands of his own kids). Probably also an orphan. No apparent guilt complex this time, since she’s such a cinnamon bun from start to finish that no one cares.
Tumblr media
Ava Star: Dead parents, brainwashed since childhood to be an assassin for Shield (but probably really Hydra), movie ended before we could see how guilty she feels
….and yet none of these characters have had any meaningful interactions with each other yet.

I think she has an ego, but in a healthy way. She doesn’t have an unrealistic expectation of herself, she just owns that she’s really good and really skilled. Which feels good to play. She also has an incredible sense of humour, makes fun of herself, makes fun of other people and has no issue if someone makes fun of her.
I will say that this character is probably the most dynamic character that I’ve ever played, there’s the most range. I’ve had to go through every emotion possible with her. And a lot of this movie, although it has great comedy in it, there’s also real depth to it and emotion. Which for me, that’s what I want. I wanna see complicated female characters. I wanna see myself, which is not a simple person. — Brie Larson on playing Carol Danvers
