Marinette straightened her dress and took a steadying breath before she went on. She wasn’t entirely comfortable in the strapless gown, though she loved the silhouette. She glanced at the house, it was pretty full tonight—there was a new face though. Sitting at a table on his own, the empty seats were a sign of danger she didn’t know how to interpret.

She felt Luka’s presence just before he spoke. His voice was soft and low in her ear. “I need your help tonight, Miss Dupain-Cheng.” Marinette let the ghost of the shiver his closeness caused to ripple through her without letting it show.

She glanced at the mirror above the piano, she could just make out Luka standing behind her, half hidden in shadow. He looked completely at ease, his hands tucked into his pockets. But while he wasn’t touching her, she could feel the warmth of his breath on her ear. He was so close that the heat of him seemed to sear her back. It took all of her willpower to not lean back into him. She nodded once, focusing on his words carefully. -----------------------

After some much needed rest, I return with my girl Arabella. My tiny tiefling army keeps on growing~ I agree with that one person's comment on Mattis: Mirkon is indeed best boy as well. His time will come!

My very first offering to the BG3 fandom, one of my favorite NPCs: best boy Mattis. Among things that were not in my 2024 bingo card was BG3. I really went in blind and oh boy am I glad I did! I'm in my first playthrough, Act 3, and it's been incredible so far. Expect way many more tieflings (including my own Tav) and, of course, the main group.

No spoilers.

On the 10th we finally said goodbye to the Rabbit and entered the Year of the Dragon! And just like last year, here's a new kwami swap~ If I'm honest, I'm not fond of the "happy meal toy aesthetic", so I went for a darker/more muted set of shades of red for my take on the dragon. Happy belated Lunar New Year, everyone!

Pig!Marinette for my kwami swap roster. It's... already been half a year since the last one, apparently. Oops. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not a fan of the canon colors for the pig holder's outfit, so I stuck with Daizzi's colors, but muted and pinker... fine! I did my own thing (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ No regrets.

Mr Baxter Ward with our baby Cho Akina in Step 4. Cho is @riding-the-sunset-bird and my MC for OLBA. We both have played the novel on our own but together-- it was so much fun! "Our Life: Beginnings and Always" is a visual novel by GB Patch Games. This guy's DLC was everything and more~ I promised myself I would finally start drawing whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted so... expect more of these morons (affectionate). Cheers to a year of self-indulgence!

Every Pokemon here was picked either because of their pokedex entry or one of their moves in particular, based on the holders interests, hobbies, personality, history, etc. I wanted a team that made sense narratively and aesthetically (for the curious ones her main is Hattrem. I'm very aware of the irony.) Feel free to share what your picks would have been for her but keep in mind that I'm NOT taking suggestions for the other holders. I desperately needed something fun to work on and this hit me while watching a friend play the game. I intend to draw all of the kid holders (yes, both bees). Goat!Luka to complete the pair. I ditched the logic I've kept for Luka's designs and embraced the "technological" look of the brush. I also gave him slightly longer hair because the girls can't be the only ones having luscious locks, just saying~ I must admit that this is my second take at it after a failed proportions attempt last week (ノへ￣、) The old design had boots and was mostly asymmetrical.
