what happened with the wolfos and Time?

OOH okok ive been waiting for this one!!

So in the OOT game, when you get to the Forest Temple 2(?) wolfos show up and you have to fight them

in the manga Mido is there, so in my au he's there too (bc i like to mix the aspects i like about the game with the aspects i like about the manga for my au)

So Time is doing two things at once, fighting the wolfos, and protecting Mido, of course that's kind of hard when you're fighting 2 wolfos

Eventually, he gets distracted making sure mido doesnt die that a wolfos bites him on the back of his neck, it doesnt affect him all that much bc adrenaline

but later after the adrenaline wears off, he realizes it hurts to speak or do anything requiring excess use of his vocal cords, because of how hard and deep the wolfos bit him.

he's basically rendered Mute, and Navi has to take up speaking for him, playing songs on his ocarina is difficult but he does it out of necessity.

Currently in the story, his wound has healed more, but still with its permanent side effects. He can speak, but not for extended periods of time, and it always sounds strained and raspy. And playing the Ocarina still kind of hurts.

good news is, he gets a snazzy scar on the back of his neck of a bite mark so thats a plus :D

can you tell i have thought about this many times?

list of random LAD boy facts:

Time - mute bc of wolfos, mido and him are on great terms now, Epona’s song is literally his favorite but he cant play the Ocarina without pain so he goes to lon lon ranch all the time to listen to Malon sing it, it brings him so much comfort

Mask - has an alter ego who's much more energetic, Majora calls him Clown :0], chronic drinker :<

Seasons - gets flustered very very easily, a very good dancer but hes very embarrassed about it, THICC southern accent

Ages - oblivious to any romantic advances, stole a mermaids ukulele because she tricked him

Awakening - despite his expression he is very very nice, misses Marin so badly omg yall have no idea, has many bracelets, likes the things that go jingle jingle, hispanic

Past - he seems like he would be a coward but can and will hurt you, also the youngest link during his adventure

Worlds - dislikes physical touch and only allows very few exceptions for short amounts of time

Minish - sometimes forgets when he speaks in the minish language no one understands him

Wind - seems like an overprotective brother but he genuinely doesn't like losing people, especially Guppy, gives everyone fish nicknames, moon drinking buddy (who makes sure he doesn't go too far)

Phantom - has a terrible compulsive cleaning habit from being pushed too hard as a swabbie

Wild - has many emotions and opinions but doesn't know how to voice them in any way (he can talk but its hard for him), blight speaks for him as his voice :)

Tears - loves cooking, purahs guinea pig (affectionate),

Calamity - cannot turn off soldier mode, has a very bad habit of sacrificing himself and he needs to stop, found Robbie so annoying at first but his autistic swagger caught him

Sky - mixed feelings about Hylia because Cloudy is like Hylia the sequel but doesn't want it and it affects them mentally and Sky doesn't want that for them, the sleepyest boy

Twilight - LOVES shade, he seems serious but he is truly the silly,

Adventure - desensitized to his own death, him and Eve are such a silly duo, hes very down to earth

Hero - loves to explore and solve puzzles, so much so everyone is positive him saving Princess was an accident, now he explores with princess

Four - doesn't necessarily have the best relationship with his dad, his hair is only long because he stopped caring, he can hear all the colors talking his thoughts are literally whatever the colors happen to be saying (not like DID though, idk, how to explain it but it's not like that)

Warriors - shaky relationship with Cia, Impa is his mom basically, did not know Linkle was his sister, him and Arsenal have a bet going on for Athena and Medusa

Faces - hes weird but not pervert weird, hes silly weird, always hungry for some reason

Legend - Realized he was kind of a pervert when he was younger and is very embarrassed about that phase (apologizes to queen all the time) hes still flirty but he's not as weird about it anymore (also he cannot take being flirted with)

Emerald - he also doesn't mind If his clothes rip, but he lets sapphire fix them, listens to the plan but tends to go with whatever's easiest, has the triforce of courage

Ruby - he doesn't care if his clothes rip, very loyal, LEROYYYYY JENKINSSSSSS, has the triforce of power

Sapphire - good at sewing, tends to think things through before acting, has the triforce of wisdom

Tracks - his life was literally falling apart when he met Spirit, she gave him something to look live for

Cadence - cant dance for crap, but has a fantastic singing voice and a great ear for music Rift - good with kids, Echo was the one who returned his handkerchief to him, wanderer

Ranger - doesn't know a Zelda, or a Ganon, Or knows what the triforce/mastersword is, my man's living his best life as a guy with his horse

Pink - no one can tell if hes a boy or girl, mamas boy loves his mama, has a rapier but not a master sword, closer to a Fae than a Hylian, 100% a fairy

First - hylias special little guy (this is a good AND a bad thing) in spirit hes a tired middle aged man, he doesn’t know why or how hes still alive and he doesn't want to know

Bass - has a 50+ step skin care routine, his sister Treble speaks for him a lot (tends to go non verbal sometimes)

Carnival - somehow taller than Minish, his sword is as tall as him, Majora calls him Jester :0]

Shade - Twilights Idol (he has no clue why) was basically a gladiator, fumbled so hard with his zelda and first and fierce deity and-, Midna is his daughter in spirit

Blight - man made hero, doesn't understand emotions at all, Wild is his emotion gauge and he is Wilds voice

VERY new here; but is there a reason why some of the games that are canonically the same Link have different Links in LAD? Like Time and Mask, Wild and Tears, etc. /genq I’m sorry if this is rude

Also dont worry its not rude at all, its a very reasonable question infact

im very glad you asked!

the short reasons is: personal preference

long reason is: when i was drafting link designs, before i even made this blog, characters like Time and Mask were one link. Even Ages and Seasons were one link, in fact if you go back far enough on the blog there were less links then there are now. (18 to be exact) But I decided that i actually wanted to torture myself make all the links separate by quite literally having a link from every game or source media i could get my hands on. i ended up with 30, and then there were loopholes and story implements

so now i have the 36 (or so) boys i have now. quite a large bunch but im honestly ok with it

but thank you for asking, do not worry, i love answering questions about my au and anything you're curious about <3 i dont find it rude at all

ooooooh ok ok so

their relationship is really interesting in my head lemme see if i can put it into words

ok so it kinda starts as mutual pining but tears is actually interested in a relationship and moon not so much

mainly bc he somehow ends up messing up long term relationship (IF YOU WOULD STOP SABOTAGING THEM!! ROMANI STILL WANTS YOU MR. IM GONNA LEAVE AND ONLY LEAVE A NOTE) so he kinda just has flings- (also Moon is kind of an alcoholic but he keeps it to himself)

ANYWAY

Tears isnt going anywhere because a.) he likes moon and b.) DEAR HYLIA SOMEONE HAS TO FIX THIS MAN (and his sleep schedule smh)

moon, like the idiot he is, keeps trying to push tears away but also cant help but spend time with him

im bad at...the in-between stuff...but lets just say its painful for everyone to watch them interact because of how much pining they do

THEY DO END UP DATING BECAUSE MOON GETS OVER HIMSELF (get loved idiot get loved and cherished /ref)

moon still has a terrible sleep schedule but tears can force convince him to actually sleep now
