hi, i'm alive

Short version: for now, Sinners and Saints + The Numbers Game is still on hiatus; they will be back in January tho.

longer version: I decided to step away from Tumblr for a while as it was getting to me too often + I had a lot of things to balance in my life. My break from Tumblr is still on, I'll maybe sporadically come here but no promises.

Since the end of July I'm working full time, and on weekends I have school, hence why my break got very, very long. When I had the time, I had no energy or motivation to even log on or write more than some random, short stories or outlines of stories.

A family member of mine is battling cancer (for a second time), but it seems to be going well as of now.

And I, personally, am feeling better mentally. Life's stable finally, work is relatively stable, school is stable. There's some motivation, too.

I'm taking my time with the come-back though. I'm painting, my job provides mental health resources (which I'm happily using), and those silly, random short stories I mentioned before? I decided to give them a go. Writing for nothing more but fun is, well, fun.

I'm extremely thankful to have such a heartwarming and caring community and I thank everyone for all the messages, I truly appreciate every single one of them.

So, with the little life update, I gift to you this crumb, one of the silly, random, short stories which I decided to turn into a silly little game.

It's by no means a standard IF. It's a little horror story, for the spooky season. A little 'hi i'm not dead' from me.

love me some red flags since vast majority of IFs seemingly center around more 'green flag' type of characters and routes~

What does the red flags warn against?

Unsavory characteristics. For instance, Céline is very possessive of her Harbinger and wouldn’t hesitate to kill anyone that tried to take you from her (barring her brother).

They’re mainly just a warning to Readers that tell you certain things that will transpire on those routes aren’t healthy and shouldn’t be considered such. It also gives you a fair warning to avoid said romance routes if you choose to do so.

Every character i ever write will inevetably be neuro divergent coded because i can not for the life of me figure out how the fuck neuro typical people function.

genuinely curious why the person rated the game poorly when 1) the game isn't even out yet 2) the person recognises they are not the target audience?

it's about as absurd as me rating dog food saying i can't eat that so it's 2/10
