Editing is like a hangover

so editing is like a hangover...  When you start filming it's like you've had your first beer and it tastes fantastic, then you film/ drink some more, you enjoy it, you get drunk, it's all fabulous, great stories, will be the best night/ film ever, but then you go home, wake up the next day, and you feel a bit queezy. You are ok, last night was fun, but now you have to make it through the hangover/ edit the film.  You're left thinking, why oh god why did I drink so much beer/ film so much.  What was I thinking and who are all these people?

Hi this is Donna, Director of Cat Show, a New Documentary I'm currently putting together. This mini film is a very rough assembly of some footage I shot of Judge Jean Marc Lagarde during the Christmas 2013 TICA cat shot in Coventry, UK, specially released today to celebrate his birthday. It likely won't end up in the final film but its a lot of fun and I thought it'd be a shame not to share it. I've completed the main filming of the TV Length version, and am busy in my Kitchen edit suite doing my best make a lovely film. Its due to be completed over the next two months, then its in the hands of my distributors to see if and where it will be shown. So, Happy Birthday Jean Marc! Dog Dancing School GOGGLE BOX from Donna Lipowitz on Vimeo.

Dog Dancing School screened for the first time on TV in the UK on Cable Channel Animal Planet, (Virgin & Sky) on December 17th 2013 at 8pm. Angela, Vicky and Carol who where featured in the film and some who helped make the film including Donna all got together at Angela's house to watch it together.
