Ingredients
1/2 apple, diced
1 teaspoon cinnamon (plus more if you're baking apples)
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 dash salt (optional)
1 to 2 tablespoons unsalted slivered almonds
1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the apple on a baking sheet and top with cinnamon, if desired. Bake for 5–7 minutes, or until soft. 
Meanwhile, bring almond milk to a boil in a small saucepan. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the oats, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. 
Simmer for three to five minutes, and stirring occasionally. 
Cut the apple into bite-size pieces. Stir in baked apples, almonds, and maple syrup once the oats have reached the desired consistency.
  SMOOTHIES
KALE RECHARGE SMOOTHIE

With such a low protein content, this smoothie isn't a meal replacement, but it does pair well with an omelette, as nutritionists recommend. 3 servings
1 frozen banana, very ripe
1 tablespoon fresh parsley (or cilantro)
34 cup spinach, packed loosely
1 teaspoon grated ginger 34 cups curly kale, stems removed, packed loosely
12 cup chopped carrots
1 teaspoon lime juice
4 ice cubes 8 oz. water
NUTRITION: 58 calories, 0 g fat, 14 g carbs, 3 g fiber, 5 g sugar, 2 g protein
  EXERCISE 
Turkish Get-Up

The Turkish-getup is a 200-year-old total-body exercise that involves the use of a kettlebell. This total-body conditioning move is extremely effective at blasting belly fat.
How to do it?
Lie on your side in a frontal position, holding one kettlebell by the handle with both hands. Roll onto your back and press the kettlebell up toward the ceiling with both hands until the weight is stable on one loaded side.
Allow your free arm and leg to come to a 45-degree angle with your palm facing down. To firmly grip the floor, bring the heel of the loaded side closer to your buttocks.
Punch the kettlebell up and roll onto your free forearm while pushing through your foot on the floor. Don't shrug your shoulder in the direction of your ear with the supporting side. Keep your chest open as much as possible. Lift yourself up to a seated position by straightening your elbow on the ground. Weave your front leg all the way through to the back. To protect your knees, make sure your back leg's shin is perpendicular to your front leg's shin.
Align your arms perfectly: wrist over elbow, shoulder over elbow over wrist. Raise your torso to erect your upper body. Swivel your back knee until your back shin is parallel to your front shin.
Take a deep breath and stand up, then grab the floor with your back toes.
