Mrs. Djuvara the old hag, that Lisa used to treat with medicine, could be the one who betrayed Lisa to the bishop. The old woman was probably scared with Lisa's healing abilities, through her medicine. So she thought that maybe Lisa was a witch. In their conversation mrs. Djuvara said ''magic powders. My Lord.'' her words were proof that she was a bit scared by Lisa's medicine.
Later on when the bishop and his group of priests were in front of Lisa's porch mrs. Djuvara is about walk away and go back to her house, but she stopped and looked back at the priests with a rather guilty face like she felt sorry about Lisa for what was going to happen to her, and then one of the priests looks back at her with a sneaky look like ''You did well, you may leave now.''
When the bishop walked inside Lisa's science lab he said '' We were told that something was wrong here. It seems she was telling the truth.'' He was talking about a woman who betrayed Lisa to him and was well known as the wise woman of the village.
Mrs.Djuvara might have had complained to Lisa about the old wise woman that gave dry foot skin to the people of Lupu, she probably did that so Lisa wouldn't suspect her evil plan.
This leaves me to believe that Mrs. Djuvara could be the Wise Woman of the village who felt envy over Lisa's curing abilities. Or she could be just an old hag who was scared of Lisa. But in any case, I do believe that she was the one who betrayed Lisa.
#Theories.~#castlevania#No character in Castlevania is there by accident#they all have their story#or at least that's what I believe..

While at the stake Lisa's hair is shown to be cut very short. That was because in ancient times they used to shave witches' heads because in some cultures they believed that a witch could hide some secret magical abilities in her hair. In other cultures they wanted the witch's head to be shaved because they wanted to expose hidden ''devil marks'' (moles and birthmarks). Some others thought that if they cut a woman's hair she'll get weaker, psychologically and physically.
Another thing that could be noticed during Lisa's execution was several scratch marks on her body, which are believed to be by whipping. So it could be that the bishop tortured her before sending her to the stake.
