Midnights is a wild ride of an album and I couldn’t be happier that my co pilot on this adventure was Jack Antonoff. He’s my friend for life (presumptuous I know but I stand by it) and we’ve been making music together for nearly a decade HOWEVER… this is our first album we’ve done with just the two of us as main collaborators. We’d been toying with ideas and had written a few things we loved, but Midnights actually really coalesced and flowed out of us when our partners (both actors) did a film together in Panama. Jack and I found ourselves back in New York, alone, recording every night, staying up late and exploring old memories and midnights past. We were so lucky to also work with our brilliant collaborators Sam Dew, Sounwave, Lana Del Rey, Jahaan Sweet, Keanu Beats, William Bowery, and Zoe Kravitz. Laura Sisk was our excellent engineer. The wonderful and wise Beth Garrabrant took the album photographs. Midnights is a collage of intensity, highs and lows and ebbs and flows. Life can be dark, starry, cloudy, terrifying, electrifying, hot, cold, romantic or lonely. Just like Midnights. Which is out now

how are u guys celebrating nye? is there any traditions in germany? like amongst the youths hahah

the only real tradition my family has is that we always eat raclette. there isn’t a real tradition we have on germany at least as far as i know hahahaha

usually fireworks a huge thing here but it’s not allowed this year (thank god) but that’s it

i‘m celebrating with my friends and we’ll probably just drink, play games and talk :)

i had all my gifts ready, and we opened them all today! me and my bf got a few things for when we move and i got a new pair of birken, a balaclava and a shirt! i was planning on wearing the shirt on nye but it was to small haha. your outfit sounds so nice, you’ll look so good!

i was thinking a nice blouse and a pair of black trousers but idk yet? do u have any tips haha

idk my only tip is jewelery i became obsessed with jewelry this year and it makes everything so much cuter in my opinion ofc

and i just got the normal one bc the only time i probably won’t have my phone with me is when i‘m going for a run or a walk and then i don’t really need that anyway

i wished for an apple watch i really needed a watch and i want to be more active this year so it’s nice i don’t have to bring my phone with me when i go on a run or in the gym anymore 🥰 what did you wish for?

i don’t have to decorate since i‘m staying with my family so my mom and grandma already did all the decorating and i still have to wrap my gifts but i already have them all! wbu?

i was really busy and am finally at home since saturday and spent a lot of time with my family and friends :)

and yes i’m so excited for new years i‘m spending it with my friends so ik it’s gonna be fun i love them sm

and yes i picked an outfit already! it’s black dress that fits a bit tighter and has two small slots on the thighs and black tights and heels and obvi some jewelry! donyou know what you will wear already?

and yess i‘m also hyped for the 25th i can’t wait to know who you are!!

the book is about two siblings who move to their grandma because their mom is in a rehab clinic and the grandma still lives in the house where their mom used to live and she had a twin but she went missing years ago and a girl was also killed in an amusement park a few years before the siblings moved there

and as they came back the "killer" also came back and another girl goes missing a bit later and they try to solve it with their new friends it was really interesting and i loved the plot twist at the end :)

and my fav song is don’t blame me by taylor swift i love it so much but i’m general i really enjoy taylor swifts music wbu?

oh that’s probably why i haven’t heard of him haha, i’m not a big fan of thrillers either so probably that to.

in normal people you get to follow 2 people and their relationship as they grow up and how their relationship changes as their lives changes. is such a good book and it just strings u along. in where the crawdads sing you also get to follow as the protagonist grows up but it’s more about how their life changes and it also has a murder mystery so if u like that go read it!!! i can’t recommend them enough!

i didn’t think about narnia but that’s a great choice! mine is probably one day cause it did get all the mayor things that was vital in the book, otherwise the movie adaption can be kinda lacking in that department.

i don’t read much series or a specific author so i just go with whatever interest me at the shelves atm haha but as of right now my fav book is either lol normal people or where the crawdads sing!

yeah he’s a german author so i guess he’s only/mostly know in germany. he writes really good thrillers!

my favourite colour is yellow, it kinda has its warmth to it and i always associated it with the sun but it also has radiates like a “i’m kind” vibe idk haha

my favorite book is probably anything by sebastian fitzek! he’s a author and his books are amazing. did i get traumatized by almost all of them? yes. but they are really well written and super thrilling which is good for a thriller haha. i think my favorite one by him is „der insasse“

I‘m pretty sure it’s just your lack of confidence i once turned in an essay i wrote the night before the dead line and thought it was really shitty but it was one of my best essays ever so you got this!

i really hope i can visit soon!! i think it’s always like that because you see so many unattractive people because you live there your whole life but for outsiders they usually notice all the hot ones 😂

and i was thinking about somewhere close to stokholm not directly in the city but close so i could hopefully work there!

my favorite colour is blue but like a baby blue and i always feel calm (and happy bc it’s my fav colour) when i see it but i also really like gold it just makes me feel wealthy and confident idk hahah
