This is the time of year when we reflect on some of the things that we’re #thankful for. For me, it starts with my #childhood and I am so thankful to have had the childhood that I did. I remember …. ... How wonderful it was to see my cousins each week at the #family gathering. ... The abundance of #friends on our block and how we all got along. ... All the fun in the #games we played outside until the streetlights came on and we all had to go inside. ... What a nuisance it was to have to go in to eat supper because we were having so much #fun. ... How wonderfully dirty we were allowed to get #playing in the dirt and mud, and how good it felt to get clean afterwards. ... The feeling of the wind in my #hair as I sped quickly on my bike. ... How hot it could get in the #summer and how thankful I was that we had an electric fan. These are just some of mine and I would so love to hear about yours. Be Kind

If you feel lonely and depressed after only a month of quarantine, imagine what it is like for an elderly person living alone.  For now ... be a good neighbor, ring their doorbell, stand 6 feet away and talk with them.  Once this is over, don’t forget to continue to keep in touch with that person.  Then add one more thing .... visit a nursing home and sit with someone who has no one.
