I'm sorry! I hope your doctor takes your concerns seriously. Maybe framing them like questions like, "I've heard/someone told me x, y, z could be related to x diagnosis, do you know if that's true?" They might have to actually go look it up, but it could help you get the answers you need! Especially if they're open to learning and reading up on things. Otherwise, maybe you could have a second opinion from a specialist. They do need to do that if it's something way out of their speciality.
